pleasant hotel staff. On a "strip" with lots of hotels. Perfect if you just need a decent place to sleep.

Luckily I arrived in time to get the shuttle service that hotel.com assured me was available. I was not told that ther service stopped at 6pm.

This was probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I was in Albany because my mother was in the hospital. Every night I would come home to a dirty bathroom and smoke filled halls. There was red scum in the toilet and hairs in the shower. The sheets were not changed. Stains on one of the pillows. The small refrig didn't work. A/C was sporadic. […] One day there was NO change of towels and I was given rags for wash cloths. Seriously the worst hotel ever! Even though I spoke to the front desk several times NOTHING was done. Breakfast was substandard. Choose another hotel to stay in! Anything has to be better than this one! Lisez la suite

Dan who checked me in close to midnight was excellent

I was very disappointed - I booked a nonsmoking room; however, the first room reeked of cigarette smell which indicated that I was NOT given a nonsmoking room. When brought to the attention of the front desk, I was then given a room (still in the smoking area) that did not smell AS much. We enjoyed our stay at Travelodge. The staff was friendly and helpful. The was clean. Even though the hotel is old, the maintainence work is well done.

This was a very good hotel we are going to use it for now on when in Albany. Ny

The hotel has been recently updated. However, I requested a non-smoking room and when we entered, there was a strong smoke odor. When I went to ask the desk clerk about it, the first thing said to me was "cigar smell?" which leads me to believe someone on staff smokes cigars in the building. They did spray the room to relieve the smell but shouldn't […] this be done everytime the room is cleaned if you can smell smoke? Other than that we did not have any issues with this hotel and would stay again - and contact them prior to arriving to make sure we are not met with this smell. Lisez la suite

definitely basic, but perfectly clean, no mold or dust. large room, comfortable bed. moderate noise from the hallway heard, but not too much of an issue. good breakfast, friendly staff. a bit tricky to find the building behind the restaurant, but nothing a quick turn didn't cure! for the price, would absolutely stay here again.

Room was ragged at best in four days I had to go to the front office three times for keys not working.room was only cleaned once but fresh towel were offered door didn't work properly waste of money totally dissatisfied

We just stayed there for a night to cut the drive in two. The night shift guy was super nice and helpful. The room was quite small but convenient. The one really bad problem is that something was off with the heating, so we really froze all night. I did not sleep at all. Just a very basic room, but is easy access to the highway to get around Albany for the business I was conducting. The breakfast is nice and starts at 6AM which is great.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It did not look like much from the outside and the halls were in need up upgrading, but the lady at the check in desk was fantastic, very personable and helpful. The room was also good and clean and comfortable.

Asked to be specifically not located near smokers, or chemicals, and my room was two doors down from the laundry, and cleaning room, and the side entrance was where smokers go out, and come back into smoke. It caused me to have a asthma attack twice, and I had to cover my mouth, when going into and out of my hotel room.

The hotel was great in virtually every respect. The room was clean, the staff friendly and everything was convenient. The only thing that irked me was 15-20 mins before checkout time, all the keys are deactivated and you can't use the outside doors or get into your room without going up to the front desk. clean, inexpensive and i loved the coffee and waffle machine (and more) for breakfast - although it said breakfast was not included!

it is very near coloanie center and bus station plus a lot of food options, the breakfast is not bade comapred to money value.

My stay was ok for the first night, come the second night they gave out a duplicate key to my room, imagine being a female alone in a room ,sleep at 3:45 and a strange man trying to get in your room. Never again will I stay here or recommend it to anybody I know.

Right across from a big shopping center. Lots of restaurants and stores around the hotel.

It is the best hotel I ever stay in Albany. Their service is much above the price I paid for my room.

I did not choose this hotel because I wanted to be close to the mall for holiday deals, but it sure did work out. We didn't have to worry about parking and when we got tired, we just walked across the street! Overall, this was a nice place to stay. Nothing fancy and the price was reasonable.

Upon arriving at the hotel I was greeted by a warm hello. My reservation was found and I was allowed an early check-in. Once my freiend and I opened our rm we were greeted with a smoke stench, single bed rm. My reservations was suppose to be a double bed, smoke free room as I have asthma. I needed a place close to where I had to be the next morning and this was it. Great location, everything else acceptable. It's not a resort, it's a place to crash and clean up in the morning. I was amused by the signs posted in the window of a nearby reataurant: "Health Inspected", "Air Conditioned", "Color T.V.". I did not sample the food there. 2nd hotel in 2 days, no heat 40 degrees out! For a hotel that was refurbished in 2010, it is already run down!

Clean room,. comfortable and quiet. Front desk was hospitable. Didnt like the cab service at all!! I will be visiting Albany often in the future, think I will drive next time. Nice place to stay for one or two nights

I checked in late, no drama. Room clean bed was comfy, lots of fluffy pillows. Rate was great. This time of year can be hard to find a hotels that meets my per diem. Amen. I have rechecked in to this hotel to complete my stay, I have a queen bed now, this bed is better than the one I had in 118. That was a king bed, queen beds have the pillow top.

Price was great, room was nice, the staff friendly and the breakfast adequate. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. (watch out for traffic)

Just not a good experience from start to finish! Really wish we would have paid more for better! Great price crappy hotel though!

The service was good. Everyone was friendly. Wonderful location. They also had Free Long Distance which came in handy for a call that needed to make. I had a very early flight so I called a cab who was there on time.

Reminded me of my worse Motel 6 experience. Why I stopped doing Motel 6s. My wife was upset with me for two days. People are hard working but can't make up for all the negatives.

This hotel is nothing to write home about, but it was convenient, inexpensive, and it met my needs (which was to have a place to sleep near Colonie Center, which was right across the street). It was clean and the service was fine.

Very basic but clean. A good deal for the price. IHOP and other restaurants & shopping are within walking distance.

Although we only stayed one night, I would recommend it to everyone. The room was clean, the breakfast buffet was good and there was a refrig in the room...

We picked this "Inn and Suites" for its reasonable price as all other hotels raised their rates for the weekend and had the expectation that it would be simple inn - nothing fancy. What we found was a cheap motel that was so dirty, I couldn't get myself to sit, let alone lay, on the bed. The bathroom had hair and dirty towels from prior guests, stains […] all along the sink etc. I would say that the night attendant was extremely gracious and helpful when getting us our room - it was the only positive thing I have to say about this cheap nasty motel. I was confused when I read the reviews on this hotel. Most of the reviews were very positive, but there were a few that were really bad. Now I know why. The first two nights at the hotel were terrible. We were in the back quarter of the hotel. When we walked into the hallway the smell of cigarette smoke was overpowering. We asked for a non-smoking room […] and received a non-smoking room in the smoking area. Our room smelled awful. I found out later the hotel does allow pets in certain rooms - hence the smell. When I complained about the smell I was given a bottle of spray and told to spray the room. The room was not clean. We asked several times to be moved to a new room. We were finally moved to a new room on our last night.and it was in a different area of the hotel. The difference was night and day. It was like were had gone to another hotel.
