just perfect!
A recommander.

Fab hotel, nothing bad to say about it. Evening wine reception is a really nice touch.
"Close to the subway"
We found ourselves on the subway more often than in past trips to NYC to eat and explore. The area is also really quiet on the weekend. In room fridge and snacks were not consistently refreshed but these were the only mild negatives during an otherwise lovely stay. I would stay here again without pause - great hotel at a great price.

"Worth every penny you spent in this hotel!"
Excellent service and great staff. The hotel is right at the intersection of wall street and water street. & min walk to metro. Lots of pubs at Stone street behind the hotel. The seaport is just 10min walk north east of the hotel. The room are clean, electric controlled blinds, free evening reception is exceptional, all non-alcoholic drinks in the minifridge […] in the room is unique out of ll hotels I have stayed. Will recommend strongly to my friends and I will return on my next trip to NY. Lisez la suite

There's lots of pubs and restaurants 3min walk to Stone street. The Seaport is just 10min. walk north-east of the hotel. A 8min walk to the metro station at another […] end of Wall street. Great Hotel, super friendly staff, great location and the rooms are clean and big! I will stay there again.
"Andaz Wall Street - brilliant hotel in NYC"
It was our first time in NYC and we chose to stay in Andaz Wall Street - a Hyatt Hotel because of all the good recommendations read from Hotels.com. We have to admit that the hotel was more than we expected. Loft-style room was very spacious and well equipped; nice walk-in shower and big bathroom, comfortable king size bed, a 42” LCD TV with international […] channels, Geneva sound system, lighting with dimming controls, remote-controlled blind, oak floors, big window with a window seat. Nice bonus were the complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic beverages in room and free 24/7 coffee&tea serving on the lounge-like lobby. Of course there were few minuses like free wireless Internet access which didn't work at all and badly isolated window so you can hear the street noise up to 10th floor, but I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone visiting NYC. We really enjoyed our stay! Area is full of cafes where to have breakfast and there is a grocery store opposite the hotel. Brooklyn bridge, WTC site and all the Wall st attractions are within walking distance. Lisez la suite

"Excellent!"
I really wasn't sure what to expect when I booked this trendy hotel for my son's senior trip. What a wonderful surprise. Not only did I get a fabulous rate on an upscale property, but the hotel staff were amazing. Our room was beautiful. I personally love the location because you are just a short subway ride to all the attractions but yet when you want […] to sleep or recharge it is much more peaceful and quiet. The restaurant was fabulous. The staff there was professional yet friendly. I can't wait to bring my husband on the next trip! Lisez la suite
"Hotel andaz manhattan"
Got in late and got perfect service from the friendly staff. First had some troubles with my room cause the hotel was fully booked, my room was already taken. Instead I got a corner suite. Big room with nice designed style and a really good music system with iPhone dock. - try their restaurant! I had a fantastic 3 course meal and got good wines by […] glass. Lisez la suite

Great service and rooms. It IS the financial district, though.
"Friendly staff, appealing but dysfunctional design"
I would come back to the hotel given the friendly staff, overall condition of the hotel and nice free coffee service and afternoon wine in the lobby. But really inexplicable design dysfunctionality in the bathroom.............dark lighting, sinks where you acnnot wash without spilling everything onto the floor, can't type on desk in room given shelf […] height, dim overall reading lamps in room............plenty of lighst but dim bulbs etc. Everything looked beautiful but it just doesn't work for people who need utility. "Great hotel with some issues"
When you enter the hotel, an associate meets you with an iPad at the door. This seems attentive, but it gives you no place to drop your bags except in front of the door. You stand there for a while, and then the associate leads you to a buffet (NOT a reception desk) where s/he gives you a room key. In the meantime, you've had to hoist your bags again […] and move to the buffet table. While you're at the buffet table, other associates ask you to move so they can access the drawers in the buffet. It's a nice experiment, but really! It's much easier just walking to a reception desk and getting a key. Andaz needs to rethink this whole first impression. My only other complaint is the bar. The staff is clearly hired for their appearance, not their ability. Pretty people tend toward like. They congregate in a circle and aggrandize each other while patrons are still in the bar. I was waving my hands over my head like a drowning victim and couldn't get their attention. In the end, I walked up behind them, threw my check on the table next to them, and begged to pay it. (I'm not above dramatic gestures.) I complained at the buffet table out front, and I don't think they processed the charge. So at least they honor patron complaints. The rooms are great. The elevators are great (anyone who has stayed in NYC knows the benefit of quick elevators) and the neighborhood is one I love. It's Medieval Nieuwe Yorke. If you haven't experienced the financial district, or walked the tip of Manhattan at sunset, you haven't seen a beautiful unsung part of New York. See the waterfront! Lisez la suite
"OUTSTANDING!"
We love this hotel! Everything about it is outstanding to say the least. The staff is welcoming and more than accomodating, the room is spectacular, and the location is perfect for us! We recommend this hotel to all of our friends and look forward to our next visit : )
"Sleek in the City"
Very sleek and stylish hotel - A Plus for concept and style atmosphere- however BUT the room was WAY too hot and you couldnt turn on the air (only turn off the heat which really did nothing). Also, forget putting on makeup with decent lighting there was absolutely none to be found - disappointing to say the least!
"One of the best hotels i have ever experienced!!"
BEAUTIFUL HOTEL AND QUALITY SERVICE, STAFF WERE NOT ONLY VERY HELPFUL BUT VERY PROFFESIONAL AND ALWAYS GLAD TO HELP AND SERVE. LOCATION IS CLOSE TO PUBLIC TRANSPORT POINTS, AND UNDER GROUND CAN GET YOU TO UPTOWN OR ANYWHERE WITHIN 5-15MINUTES AVOIDING TRAFFIC ON ROADS WILL DEFINITLY STAY THERE AGAIN.
"King Plus is a must"
If you are in search of a hotel getaway for you & your significant other, this is the place to do it. Awesome hotel bar (delicious cocktails) and the room is amazing. Soaking tub is worth the extra spend.
"Nice hotel but out of the way"
Nice hotel although area is kind of dead on the weekends, particularly on Sundays. Does have easy access to Ground zero and South St Seaport. Just be aware when booking the breakfast along with the room since they only give you a $50 credit for the room and not a full breakfast for your party.
"pretty hotel.......immature customer service"
This trendy, pretty hotel could have provided a wonderful getaway. However, the management was immature and unable to take charge of a very loud, noisy party in a room, which resulted in the entire hallway of guests unable to get some sleep until the wee hours of the morning. The continually lame response of both hotel manaqers and security of "there […] is nothing we can do" crossed this hotel right off our list! Lisez la suite
"GREAT HOTEL"
One of the best hotels ever. Everything is great about it. Beautiful room, perfect service.
"Love this hotel"
My wife and I have stayed at this hotel twice. We have a friend who lives in the FiDi and we stay here when we visit. The overall experience is amazing. I will start with my only gripe about the hotel: no valet parking. There is a deck across the street, but you still have to drop off your bags, park the car and come back. Not very New York, if you […] ask me. When you walk in, a host approaches you and handles your check in with a computer tablet. I have never waited in line for anything here. The lobby is very modern and elegant, but not overstated like many in the city. There are plenty of elevators and I don't think I have ever waited over 30 seconds for one. The rooms are very well sized for NYC, not the typical closets at all. The bed is very comfortable and the bathrooms are amazing- modern and stylish and functional. We haven't eaten at the restaurant or had room service yet, so no review there. My wife and I love, love, love the neighborhood. On weekends, it is very quite and neighborly with people walking their dogs and lots of outdoor cafes and NO TOURISTS. Yes if you walk a few blocks to the stock exchange, there will be tourists there taking pictures of the bull, but that's about it. And the hotel is far enough away from Zuccotti Park, so the OWS knuckleheads are not a problem. Warning: Other than some very nice restaurants, this is NOT an area for nightlife. Compared to other parts of the city, it will seem practically deserted to you if you are used to hanging out in Times Square. But my wife and I will take it over that anytime. Overall, the Andaz was a wonderful find for us, beautiful with a great staff, reasonably priced (for manhattan), with fantastically styled rooms. I would recommend it without reservation. "Great Place, Great Location, Great Vibe"
My girlfriend and I spent NYE in the financial district and chose The Andaz. We chose wisely. We really enjoyed the quiet comfort and modern styling of the hotel. Chad at the front desk was incredibly professional and helpful. He went out of his way to not only make a FABULOUS restaurant recommendation...but he also called to get us in at the last minute, […] and then stood in the middle of Wall Street to hail a cab for us. We will definitely be back! Lisez la suite
"Best all-time NYC stay"
From the concierge greeting you for check-in with his iPad to the free happy hour, our stay at the Andaz Wall Street was absolutely fantastic. The location is deep Financial District, but it's only 3 express stops from Grand Central. The room is huge (even by non-NYC standards), modern and clean, and the staff is fantastic. I probably won't stay anywhere […] else in NYC moving forward. Lisez la suite
"Andaz Hotel Wall Street"
A sleek, cool, comfortable hotel with great amenities. Very friendly. You might not think of Wall St as a place to "occupy" at night if you're not there on business, not close to a lot of what you want to do, a nice evening neighborhood and close to the subway. Great!
"Nice Hotel"
The hotel is beautiful though the room lighting is incredibly poor. The bathroom lack of lighting can literally cause a headache it is so dim trying to apply makeup or do a daily routine is incredibly frustrating. I will not stay here again when preparing for any morning work meetings.

"Wish I were there"
Great hotel and I will go back. Two things were a letdown, but not enough. Location and small front desk. The location is by the Stock Exchange, so as a tourist, there are a few things to see, but the bulk of the city is much farther north. That would be OK with the convenient subway, but weekend work on the different lines make it a bit of an annoyance. […] The two-post front desk is designed for a leisure, easy experience. Totally cool, but something that doesn't work well when in a hurry leaving to catch a flight/train. So plan! Lisez la suite

"Andaz hotel, wall street, new york"
This hotel is located close to Brooklyn bridge, ferry terminals to liberty and staton island and also the twin towers memorial. However, it is also only a couple of subway stops away from times square with a subway station being situated on wall street. The rooms in the hotel are very very spacious and modern with free wifi, soft drinks Inc tea and […] coffee and snacks. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anybody :-) Lisez la suite

Loved it! I made the reservations for my party and was very happy and happier that everyone else liked it too. I would definitely go back. No complaints whatsoever.
"A Must-Stay Hotel!"
We just got back from New York and we can't stop talking about Andaz Wall Street! It needs to be seen to be believed. Thanks to Hotels.com we gave Andazl a shot — at a really good rate too. Andaz lives up to its promise to keep things uncomplicated. We were checked in within 10 minutes by Sean, using an iPad, who also helped us to bring our bags to […] our room. Due to a hiccup (they gave us a room that was still occupied) we got upgraded to a Large King. The rooms are HUGE and the ceilings are TALL! It's something we never expected to find in Manhattan, to be honest. And ours wasn't even a suite. The bed was super comfortable. There was a long table in the middle of the room, upon which sat a 42" LCD TV, and the reverse side was a vanity table. A long seat ran under the large windows, so we could lounge around and read the art books thoughtfully provided. The bathroom was stellar: A rain shower, which we could enjoy sitting down on the bench provided, and a large, wide tub that called out our names... There was a glass panel separating the bathroom from the bedroom so you could sit in your tub and watch TV. The rotating wardrobe was the piece de resistance - one on side, a wardrobe; on the next a mirror; the next, a hanger for your bathrobe, and finally a shelf for drinks and snacks. You could stand in one spot, get dressed (or undressed) and get a drink all in under 10 minutes. The finishes were classy - dark, textured wall, intuitive lighting, iPod-friendly sound system. Oh, and the freebies: Internet, free local calls, and anything from the minibar in your room (restocked daily) except the liquor and beer. We had our fill of sparkling water, iced tea, Terra chips, Dagoba chocolate bars... Each evening, if we headed back to Andaz after a day of shopping, we could sit in the lobby and sip a nice white or a seasonal red (Pinot Noir for October) from 4 to 6pm. There was a table at the lobby where you could help yourself to water, iced tea, apples and oranges, a Lisez la suite

"Exceeded Expectations!"
Do not turn away from this hotel because of the location - it turned out to be an outstanding feature of this gem of a hotel.
