tout était bien hormis l'extérieur de l'hôtel, seul le parking est disponible au milieu des voitures pour fumer, détail qui ne concerne pas les non fumeurs bien sûr

Good place to stay for a couple days. The pool is okay. The room is good but not bright enough. The staff is very friendly.

Hotel est en tout point parfait sauf si vous avez un problème avec votre carte de crédit. Le dernier jour de notre séjour, quelqu'un est venu frapper à notre porte vers 11h du soir et ma maman a ouvert. Ne parlant pas très bien anglais, elle a compris que c'était une erreur. le lendemain, en revenant du déjeuner, plus moyen d'ouvrir notre chambre. Il y avait un problème avec la visa (qui fonctionne cependant bien partout ailleurs, y compris dans le distributeur de l'hotel) et donc tant qu'on avait pas payé, ils ne débloquaient pas la chambre. Je comprends ce type de pratique pour ^^etre sur qu'ils seront payés, il y a la manière de le faire, mais peut^^etre est-ce la procédure US...

The ONLY down side to this hotel was the pillows. Take my advise and bring your pillows from home. They give you 3 or 4 per bed but they are micro thin. We really thought that it was a great place to stay though. The hotel staff was wonderful, professional and was eager to answer all of our questions.Avis véridique Hotels.com

"Great stay, decent price"

"Great value hotel"
The hotel is about 5 minutes away from I45 and we chose to stay here because the hotels in Galveston were more expensive. The hotel looks modern, and had friendly staff. This was my first time staying at a Candlewood Suites. I was looking for a bargain as I knew I would not be spending much time in the room. I was very pleased. "Decent place to stay on a budget"
The front desk staff person was very helpful when we arrived. She even called the room after we were settled in to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was small, but it had a kitchen, so that was nice. The description on Expedia said the room opened out to a deck, so I was disappointed to arrive and find that there was no deck. Candle woods was a nice hotel not much to offer as far as perks go. Rooms were very nice and clean. Very big plus having a frig and stove in the room. The people were very nice. "Nice Hotel"
I booked this hotel to get away for the weekend with my wife. The room was small but really cozy. When we arrived and looked around we were surprised to see that the cabinets were filled with everything you need from plates and cups to dish washing detergent. We were able to have nice dinners and breakfast without spending too much on outside food.The […] bed was the best! "Bad Smell, Loud Noises, Rude Front Desk Lady"
We were told at check in that we had to pay a 50 dollar deposit for "incidentals" uhm hello you have my credit card, should I trash your room charge it at that time, or file a report with the police. You do not put a 50 dollar hold on my credit card. However as we had arrived after a long drive we decided to tolerate it. Well on a side not it's been […] 3 days since we checked out and they still have the hold on my credit card. Next, when we reached the elevator there was a HORRIBLE smell there. We had to smell it all the way up to our room and back down again. The elevator has no exhaust fan and when people decide to release their gas in the elevator the smell stays for a LONG time. It was disgusting. Then, every time we walked past the front desk the women working were always on personal phone calls and being rude to and ignoring people checking in or out and overall just rude. We stayed on the second floor, from the moment we checked in until we checked out it sounded like the people in the room above ours were having a rave party, nonstop stomping, jumping, running. You get a lot more for less here. Room had a full size fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and stove top. The cabinets were full of utensils also.
