Nous avons séjouné au mois d'août 2011 dans cet hôtel. la chambre sentait un peu le moisi et était mal nettoyé. Le petit déjeuner était correct. It's a nice hotel in a very nice area, owner was very nice also,pleasant

Definitely a dirty motel. Unfortunately it was the last room available in the area - so we didn't really have a choice, but good thing we were prepared for the worst. It was bad. Smelly like mildewy/animal urine. There was a huge dead spider on the floor along with dead millipedes along the baseboard. I was afraid of the carpet because there was baking […] soda in the carpet clearly trying to help an old toilet and animal problems. We found hairs on a pillowcase which made us question if they had even been cleaned. The side table was dusty and dirty & had a card from the maid asking for tips - ha! SO gross. If you are desperate - it could work for a one night stay, but be prepared!!! I feel like they owe me for staying at their place. Lisez la suite

We were looking for a quiet weekend getaway and found all that we were looking for at the Amish Lantern. The staff were friendly and accomodating. The rooms are not lavish, but very comfortable in the heart of Amish country. The doors actually have "real" keys (not cards). We were very disappointed in this hotel. It was not kept up.They had half screen doors with holes in the bottom & duct tape to try & hold the screen on on top.Orange light bulbs in the bathroom,with dead insects in the corners we thought were dust balls till the cleaning lady put a white bulb in then left the bugs there. If the keepers of this hotel […] put some extra bucks in for facing (or took off the screen doors) it would have looked better.A coat of paint would be good too. aThere was hair on the pillow and sheets. Bugs on the bed and actually crawling out of the wood headboard. Socks left in a dirty drawer from previous guest. Tried to call office on their phone on the end table and got no dial tone.Picked the phone to call the office and did not get a dial signal.There was not any line connected to the phone. I moved […] the table the phone was sitting on and found literally enough trash to hold in two hands. There was also trash behind the bed. The heatpump was so blocked with dust it just barely ran. We walked to the office to talk with the manager and her response was nothing short of unblievable. She stated we were in the country and what did we expect. My wife is 73 years and we were trying to get away from a situation having no electric in our home due to Hurricane Irene and thought going to a motel would be a good alternative for a very bad week. We live about 40 miles from the Lancaster area and although very exhausted we decided the only thing to was to drive home at 10 o'clock at night. I have never complained about a place we stayed before. We were in room for 2 hours. Lisez la suite

This hotel was awful, the bed was like sleeping on a piece of plywood, it smelled. Went to take a shower in the am and ran out of hot water
