This hotel probably is in the shadiest part of the town. Very unclean hallways, stinking of vomit and urine. Room was not bad for the price, but really noisy people around. Old appliances in the room; creaking floor boards; dank stinking carpets

Although far from a 5 star hotel it was clean and the bed comfortable - no issues. I read other comments/reviews before staying and a few mentioned the neighborhood - it looked fine to me. We had dinner about a quarter mile down the street - what a great meal! Didn't do breakfast so missed that one. I would stay again - great price for the area.

We stayed one night in this hotel as we need to be in Greenwich the next day for a work-related issue and the hotels in Greenwich were all very expensive. This hotel was one of the cheapest ones we found, though cannot be called cheap, in fact compared to Comfort Inn in Warwick, for example, where we stayed in for half of this price. The hotel personel […] were nice and polite and tried to help but the hotel, itself, was not good at all. There was a gap between the door and the wall of our room and a cold draft was blowing into the room the whole night. The breakfast is basically only coffee, bread, butter, and jam. Spent 7 hours in the room, walked out with more than 30 bed bug bites... DO NOT STAY HERE!

The staff was very nice but that did not make up for the hairs we found in the beds.

well its not really what i expected. what i saw in the picture is a bit opposite of what is actual. the outside is not really look good.

Interesting... but a little overkill for the area.

As state in the name "Value", attractive price comparing with all the hotels in the area. The down size is that low price = lower standard, but if you can live with that then it is not a bad place to stay for the price you are paying for.

This was a dump, false advertising if you will, I know I will never go back there, but that is what cheapness is all about.

worse hotel i have ever stayed at very shady.

This hotel is okay. You get what you pay for. The condition of the room was acceptable, and it was comfortable. The restuarant upstairs is pretty good, but the atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. The man at the front desk was rude and nasty. The room was fine although it could seriously use a paint job since the ceiling has severe water damage.

The front desk and continental breakfast areas are managed by people who are responsible, friendly and really care that your stay is comfortable, quiet, and restful. The cleanliness of the room was excellent. The mattress was new and comfortable. Parking easy, and the hotel is within a mile of downtown Stamford.

not very good customer service

If I were a woman, I would not recommend staying there. Felt a little unsafe.

Proximity to I95 is convenient, but comes at the price of high road noise. Hotel under good repair. Quality is what I would expect or slightly better for being cheapest hotel in town. Hotel is used mainly by construction workers.

No frills low budget option that is clean and convenient. Had a restaurant over the office that must have become a dance club judging from the loud music. Thankfully was staying at other end of motel. Breakfast was extremely dissapointing--breakfast room was too small, food was super low quality and was not kept restocked. not worth it. very smokey. no separate non-smoking rooms.. its like one smoking and one non-smoking room. real bad for kids. shady area

Our room was clean, the staff courteous and helpful, while the outdoor grounds could use trash sweep' the building proper was very well kept. I would return without hesitation.

never recommend this place to anyone please.i had to leave after i cheek in to the room

Very inexpensive. Advert said down comfortors. No comfortor, an old bedspread and not even a soft velum blanket - old worn cheap blanket. Had a king bed-it sagged in the middle - time for new mattresses. Time for some renovations in general. The bathroom was clean - it had easy to clean surfaces. The carpet, although Im sure it was vaccumed, also time […] for an upgrade - years of spilled stuff isnt going to come out of the carpet and it doesnt "feel' clean. The room also smelled funky. I wish I had some febreeze, but sprayed my body spray in the AC. As others said it is a bit noisy, mostly because the carpets are covering wood floors, so every time someone walks by your room, you hear it and feel it. This hotel is a nightmare. The rooms smell damp, the neighborhood is not safe and the front desk is behind bulletproof glass! The 2 employees that I booked rooms for at this location were attacked by other guests in the lobby as well. The pictures online don't match the location and look like they were probably taken years ago. I would not recommend […] this hote to anyone. Great value, decent hotel...can't go wrong. The continental breakfast was pretty shabby though -- don't rely on it.

These are the facts: As I walked thru the semi-enclosed breezeway to the office, my first impression was olfactory - it smelled like a neglected roadside rest stop restroom. The guy at the desk said it would take him ten minutes to retrieve my last-minute online reservation, so I went up to the bar to get a beer. I was greeted by a guy in a "SECURITY" […] tee shirt who started patting me down for weapons before I could order a beer to take to my room. When I finally got checked in and got to my room, it was not real clean, and there was a lot of unpainted drywall patching work, and water or beer stains on the walls. The place was so unsavory that I unpacked my computer and started looking for some other place to stay. I was going to just leave the key on the bed and bolt without even asking for a refund. However, after carefully inspecting for bedbugs or roaches with a flashlight and finding none, I figured I could handle one night in this place. I slept well and did not get bitten by anything. This place is horrible I have used this chain in other states and you expect the not so great quality because of the price but this place wouldent even be worth it at 20 a night. The hotel is filled with people having parties in Thier rooms every night ( this also means the parking lot is full wuth non guest and you may not get a spot the hotel employees […] won't put a stop to them So it is up to you to complain or call the cops if you want to sleep . The room was cleaned decent however still killed like 6 spiders in the room . If you are looking in this price range go to the Eco lodge in Norwalk only 6 miles away and allot better. Lisez la suite

I just didn't like the fact that some people on the same floor as I was were extremely noisy. it felt like I was in the ghetto.

There was no Delux King Bed with a spa as advertised. Even a simple item like a plastic spoon ans fork were hard to come by. The bathroom fouced works backwards.It took me too long to figure out the hot water.

When we arrived, there were about 6 guys hanging around drunk, did not feel very comfortable or safe when entering the lobby. The clerk on duty should've stopped that.

Fine for the price. Bed linens were clean, towels tum and sink were clean but the walls and curtains were dirty. Good carpet and pet friendly

This place was nasty, it smelled it was dirty, parking sucked, it was real loud!!! I had broken crackers left in the fan! The bed was horrible!!! Do not stay here, u will regret it!!! Yuck yuck

the hotel was a big let down.. the pictures on hotels .com did not represent the room we got. It was clean but not a good choice. The location was bad, the service was worxe if you take my advice spend the extra 5-10 dollars and stay at on of the chain hotels in the area

If it wasn't. For the loud guests next to me it would have been fine for my needs. They came in at 1 and finnaly after two calls to front desk they quieted down at 230

The night activity in the parking lot was a little much. The constant activity made us a little nervous, along with the bullet proof reception area.

Heard a lot of noise from the outside, but it's located next to the highway. Cars starting and shutting off, cause the parking lot is directly outside the rooms. You get what you pay for. Very cheap, but got the job done. Although... The one thing that really disgusted me was a used washcloth in the shower. There's really no excuse for that.
