hotel propre et trés sympa deux minutes de marche pour etre sur la plage nous y etions bien l année derniere et sommes de retour cette année je le conseille fortement

Assez loin du centre ville de Miami avec beaucoup de circulation sur les voies principales. A deux pas de la mer ce qui est très agréable. Parking payant avec un nombre de place limité et aucune garantie d'en trouver une! Draps pas spécialement propres, poussière pas faite. A recommander mais pour un petit séjour.

Entre la musique du bar qui dure jusqu'à 2h30 du matin (qui colle les chambres) et les travaux sur la rue juste à côté qui débutent à 8h du matin (et qui vont durer au moins jusqu'en octobre 2011), nous ont obligés à dormir avec des boules quies sans pour autant trouver le sommeil tellement on avait l'impression que notre chambre était dans le bar...l'horreur […] quand on y vient en vacances pour se reposer !!! On ne peut même pas marcher pieds nus à cause de la saleté au sol. Nous voyageons beaucoup et c'est la 1ère fois que nous voyons cela... Lisez la suite

Hotel très bien situé, à 2 pas d'une plage dont l'eau rappelle les Caraïbes. De nombreux bars et restaurants le long de la plage, à des prix plus que raisonnables. La plage d'Hollywood est très appréciable car il n'y a pas de circulation de voiture entre le sable et les bars/restaurant (ce qui n'est pas de cas à Fort Lauderdale par exemple). Concernant […] l'hotel, les points négatifs sont le manque de vélos à disposition mais surtout l'odeur désagréable qui émane de la climatisation. tout est parfait a 2 pas de la plage, fourniture gratuite de vélos,parasol et chaises.chambre impéccable et sympa aux couleurs pastels. pour les grands gabarit les wc sont un prés du mur.

bon rapport qualité prix à 30 min environ de MIAMI BEACH en voiture. Plage à cent mètres. Accueil sympathique, chambre propre et agréable.

L'hôtel était propre et bien entretenu pour une hotel de cette classe. Par contre, une série de chambre, dont la notre, était adjacente à un bar restaurant. Nous avons eu droit à de la musique et des fêtards jusqu'aux petites heures du matin durant nos 4 jours. Nous avions réservé pour 5 personnes et avons dû nous contenter de 4 assiettes, 3 couteaux, […] aucun couteaux coupant, 5 verres...bref, ça allait avec la cuisine assez petite pour accueillir une seule personne avec une table à manger grande comme une table de chevet ! Heureusement le beau temps nous a permis de manger dehors. Sans parler du service qui ne nous à pas dit bonjour de notre séjour. Bref, j'ai de beaucoup préféré notre second hôtel (à Kissimi) que nous avions réservé pour notre deuxième moitié du voyage qui était incomparable sur tous les points et à moitié du prix ! «oak plantation» Lisez la suite

Good deal for what you pay. But our room had roaches. And the access key didn't work 5 times because we didn't know we are not supposed to keep it next to a phone or credit card. I was keeping it in my purse and had to get it activated 5 times.

It was short but it serve the propose of my stay, friendly staff..

My boyfriend and i had a pretty nice stay at this hostel and would most deffinately stay here again. The beach was in very close wAlking distance and it was cool that bikes were free to ride. They also have beach towels,water floaties, and surfboards for the guest to borrow too. small building area more like a trailer. rooms have bright colors but the bed wasn't very comfortable. Didn't like the pillows or blankets and we heard every noise from the neighbors and construction outside in the morning. plus sounded like someone started pressure washing the deck in between the buildings in the morning. the ONLY plus side to this […] place is the location is very close to the beach and your on the boardwalk.. just doesn't have a gas station close i know this sounds harsh but it really isnt the worst place ever i just ilke a decent bed and these seemed old. and the room service didnt get there until like 6pm when it says around 2pm. they hold 100 dollars on your credit card incase you smoke in the room and charge you 10 dollars for parking in their personal lot. so there are hidden charges as well. Right at the beach, very casual but very clean. This place is made for someone who wants to live in their bathing suit for a week and just hang out at the beach. Simple but perfectly pleasant accommodations.

I was sooooo happy at this hotel. You cannot beat the location. We did not have a car while visiting and did not need one because of the location of this hotel. It was clean, neat, friendly, helpful staff. Everything about this hotel was great. The room was nice and pretty basic. We were able to use bikes for free while there and I believe they offer […] free surf boards too!!! Plus my nephew was able to use their beach toys for free. Just so convenient. Great experience. Recently rehabbed into a Miami chic style. Very comfortable and laid back. We stayed in the suite and it had plenty of room - bunkbeds, pullout couch and a separate bedroom with a queen size bed. The office lends out grills, bikes and beach gear. Location is great - walk down a side street to the beach - no busy road to cross. ***Taco Beach Shack** […] - right next door - got to try - gourmet, high end tacos with a beautiful atmosphere. Very kewl experience! Although I stayed in a hotel room, the Hostel common area (living room/kitchen) was a unique experience meeting some people from all over the world! Right by boardwalk, food everywhere, great Greek food at little hostel type convenience/variety store! Oh! Forgot I owe the owner 60 cents!! Right in the middle of the Boardwalk activity. The Taco shop in front really does serve a great taco. The use of a free bike was great. There is a limited quantity so subject to availability and a 2 hour time limit. Rooms are small but sufficient, 2 Peas in a Pod, and the bathroom is VERY small but it works fine. Was told there was laundry ( if available between 6 and 9 pm ) we were there 9 days and could never use the machines....Should either advertise no laundry available or else have machines for the renters...ot happy with that Would hav made other arangements...

My husband and I stayed for one night along with my best friend and her husband (they had their own room) and we were pleasantly surprised by how clean our room was. The hotel is older, but the owners have updated with beautiful paint schemes and furniture. There is a microwave and mini fridge in the room, but no coffee maker, but there is a kitchen […] where you can cook your own breakfast and enjoy a cup of coffee as well. A washer and dryer is also available. The bed was a little too firm for my liking, but some people like firm mattresses. Best of all, one block away, a beautiful broadwalk along the beach is a great place to walk, skate, ride bikes, swim, sunbathe, eat at many restaurants and shop! No need to drive anywhere! My wife and I just needed a clean, affordable hotel by the beach and close to the Fort Lauderdale International airport. It was clean and from there took us less than 10 min to get at the airport driving very early in the morning, so it was the perfect match. exactly what we needed. a quick stop-over place on our way to Puerto Rico. 15 minutes to Ft. Lauderdale Airport- right on the beach scene and the whole Hollywood boardwalk- awesome. no more than we needed and no less. TV, fridge, perfect. Bikes are available to ride- no charge. great little palace by the sea. we'll be back

This remains a pleasant little basic hotel. Truth be told the price has gone up since my first stay, without the addition of any amenities. This fact made me do a search of the area. As there are so many really crummy places up and down A1A, I came back. The delicious Mahi Mahi fish tacos next door makes it as easy place to be. Two quick reminders; 1. […] Make sure your pass key continues to work as the office closes at 11 PM 2. Rent a car if you are there more than 4 days as the area closes down after 10 PM. It was a disappointment! I picked out a room online and got a different one with bunk beds in it! I wanted a night to relax and it was not going to happen. The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows were horrible. There was a gate that kept slamming all night and I got no rest at all. There are no decent places within walking distance to eat. The pictures […] make the place look very modern and a fun place to be. Definitely not. The place smelled musty and the bathroom Wreaked of salt water. No idea why. I would go somewhere else. You have to pay $10.00 for parking which is ridiculous because the parking is right there and there is no point of that. Spring breakers would love it because it feels like you are camping. The hotel is more like a beach bungalow. Dont let the "hostel" part scare you away. Very clean & neat. Free bike rental, beach chairs, etc... are great. Its nice they don't try to nickle and dime you. Now the bad part though about the wi-fi. Besides it being a very weak signal throughout the property, the network is apparently wide open to anyone. […] My email account was hacked when I was there. When I brought it up to the person working there (suggesting they might want to change their password/ router connection, etc...) she just shrugged and said its not their problem. So be careful with the wifi if you need to use it. If internet connection is not important, then this place would be a good choice for a few days. Lisez la suite

We were satisfied with all aspects of the hotel at the price we paid. We spent more time enjoying the boardwalk and Hollywood BLVD than the room. This is a great place for a getaway. We didn’t rent a car as suggested and we used the trolley or walked the 1.5 miles to the city. There was a lot to do. We loved it. We’ll be back.

If you are looking for a fancy hotel with a grand foyer and concierge service this is not the place for you. But if you want a low key inexpensive beach hotel that has a microwave and refrigerator, next to the beach with an open courtyard & clean rooms - then this is the place for you.

Our Stay wasnt bad. It was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. It's only a very short walk to the beach with lots of restaraunts on the board walk. The front desk clerk was very nice and helpful. They have free bike rentals which we used. The cleaning staff could be taught that if they stay off the cell phone while cleaning, they might get more […] of the dirt and hair off the floor. The best I can say is that the staff is friendly (but not necessarily helpful or knowledgable) and the beds are comfortable. Otherwise, I would not recommend the place. I was first assigned to Unit E3. The room was clean, pleasant looking, and refreshing, with blue and yellow walls, white woodwork, white furnishings, and white bed linens. The room had […] a small refrigerator and microwave, which I never used, but it had no coffee pot, which I would have used. The ceiling fixture had 3 lights, but only 2 were working. When I went to the office to ask for a 3rd, I was told that the handyman had left for the day. It rained while I was there and the water came flowing into the bathroom along side the ventilator. The clerk moved me to Unit D2. Unit E3 had a table and chairs where I was marking exams. Unit D2 had none. I resorted to lying on the bed. Unit D2 also had a small refrigerator and microwave, which I never used, but it had no coffee pot, which I would have used. Unit D2 also had a ceiling fixture with 3 lights, but, like Unit E3, only 2 were working, and I could not get another, because the handyman had gone. Both rooms had shower stalls, but the shower floors were slippery, they had no treads, and the showers had no hand bars to hold on to. The office is up a ramp, which was very slippery in the rain. I almost slid down the ramp. The office has 2 computers that are hooked up to the Internet, but reception is poor. On Saturday morning I asked the clerk for a Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts or a place to get coffee and a bagel or donut and she told me that I would have to get in my car and drive. I asked about regular breakfast and she said IHOP, again a drive in the car. Meanwhile, the hotel is located a block form the beach, so wandered off up the boardwalk and within 5 blocks I found 5 places to get breakfast and a Haagen Daas for coffee and a donut, bagel, or muffin. The problems are correctable, but until the problems are corrected, I would not recommend the hotel. Lisez la suite

A block from the boardwalk and beach. Clean room and friendly staff. They loan you bicycles, beach chairs, beach towels and water toys. Free use of ntheir computers. Room was very nice and was very clean. Only thing to mention is that the bathroom is small and therefore hard to sit comfortably on the toilet. I really enjoyed this hotel, it is very quiet and clean rooms. I stayed in the two peas in a pod room which had a mini fridge and microwave. The internet was good, and although I didn't really leave my hotel room much it is really close to the beach, just about a 2 minute walk. It was a good place. overall and the price was good!. Only about a block from the ocean! The room was pleasant with nice coloration. There was a nice courtyard area outside the room where I stayed.

We took our kids for a special overnight stay at Hollywood beach. What a beautifl beach it is!! The room was very roomy and comfortable. We all fit into one room which is a significant cost savings for our family of 5. The room was clean, however it could use a little tlc...a fresh coat of paint. Only one minor complaint - the water temperature seemed to have a mind of its own. Otherwise, I loved everything about the place - especially at such a good price. First of all - 1 block from South Florida's best beach. Walk anywhere you want to. You really do not need a car if you stay here provided you are happy with a relaxing stay at the beach. […] Grocery stores, restaurants all nearby. You can either walk or cab it. The room was clean. The environment was very HOSPITABLE. Very nice., welcoming staff from all over Latin America (Don't worry, English is spoken). I met guests there from California, Maine/Montreal, New York, Germany, Brazil - you name it. Nice casual international flavor. great hotel to stay in! great amenities, close to ocean, free rental on bike and toys. Cheap and reasonable rates. Would book again!

For the price it def exceeded my expectations. I brought 2 cars and had no problem with parking the whole week I was there. Plenty of places to eat and the hotel provides equipment for many beach leisure activities. Not a family hotel I would say. No pool but the beach is a few steps away.

I stayed inTwo Peas in a Pod. The room was nice with the exception of whatever cleaning solution they used in the floors ( left a slippery residue ) an a loose tile in the shower stall. All and all a nice affordable place to visit with confirms beach access and the freebies are nice too.

Bright, colorful and new apartments directly at the beach. Everything offered one might need. Great value for money. Even free internet, beach towels, bikes etc. Would have loved to stay longer...

As long as you arrive with the proper expectations you will like this hotel. The rooms are small and very no-frills. However they are clean and everything in our room was in good repair. The parking is a challenge if you arrive after 6 or 7 p.m. Treat it like a game of musical chairs and be sure to get your spot early or be prepared to park at least […] a few blocks away and pay (again) .
