"Wonderful surprise"
Nice place to stop on our way to Tahoe from san diego. Bathroom was very nice with stone shower. Beds were comfortable. Deco like architectural details were interesting. Would go again. Only thing I didn't like was carpet. Staff very friendly.
"Adequate overnight"
Great for an overnight - checked in late and left the next morning. The room is a good size and was clean, nothing fancy, but comfortable. Staff was very nice.

"Better than I expected."
Considering the price we paid for the room, I was pleasantly surprised at what I found when I arrived. The rooms were small, quaint, clean and very basic. There was a hair dryer in the bathroom but no wasted little bottles of shampoo or lotion. I prefer to use my own toiletries so I appreciate not paying for that convenience. The service was better […] than at most of higher priced hotels were we have stayed. We did have a room in the front towards the road and there was a bit of road noise. The towels were a little thin, which is not a problem for me, but some may not care for that. It was a nice stay and I will definitely stay there the next time I am in Los Banos. Lisez la suite
"For the money"
Good hotel for the cost. They do NOT offer breakfast any longer, and got rather upset when I told them this website continues to have breakfast listed on the amenities. Seemed like they though I was lying to them, when really I was just trying to let them know what was being said on the website. Otherwise, quiet and clean.
We got what we paid for! You go cheap, that's what you get.

I was very pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of this little 2-star motel. It was quiet, the bed was very comfortable, and it is very obvious that the owners take care of the property. I would stay again.

Very friendly staff,room is small. wasnt very clean there was pet hair on the carpet and garbage in the closet. We stayed 2 nights the second day the room wasnt vacummed. Okay for the price it could be a more comfortable stay if the rooms were a little cleaner.

Needed a quick stop for the night and found a very good price online for this motel. It had gotten good reviews and I agree with them. "Adequate for an overnight"
The room and parking lot were quite small, but everything was clean and in good repair. Service was quick. I thought my bed was comfortable; my son considered his uncomfortably firm. Bathroom looked recently remodeled with nice tiling. Is near the center of Los Banos, so was as convenient as the town is. Was adequate for an inexpensive overnight.

"Pleasant Surprise"
I probably would have bypassed this motel if I hadn't reserved a room ahead of time, because it obviously was a very old one. I would have worried that it might be in poor condition and might not satisfy my needs. However, I am very glad that I stopped there. The location was very convenient. The room was quite adequate. The bathroom was small, but […] the shower was great. The TV was satellite and I could find all of my favorite channels. The staff was very cordial and helpful. I would stop there again. "Los Banos"
If you appreciate clean, quaint, casual and inexpensive-this is a good choice. The manager was very helpful with a computer hookup problem, resolved it very quickly. We needed a stopover between Las Vegas and Santa Rosa with our family pet. I would stay there again.

It was a nice hotel. It didn't have breakfast even thoug on hotels.com they wrote that it has. The room was nice. The guy in the morning while cheking out wasn't rude but he wasn't nice either.

Nothing fancy, but its clean and comfortable. Also has fridge and microwave in room. Right on the highway and accessible to many eating establishments. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Good value for the price. I stayed there with my wife on the way to san fransisco. Room had microwave and refridgerator. Room was nice and clean.

The breakfast was above average in that waffles were provided. The pool and hot tub can be used 24 hours, which is a nice amenity.

We just wanted an inexpensive, but clean, place to stay overnight. Economy fit that description. The surprise was that the manager/owner was extremely welcoming, more so than many high-end places I've stayed. Also, the beds were quite comfortable. They are in the process of rehabbing rooms, and ours was not yet done, so the upgrades should make it even […] nicer. The owners have worked hard to refurbish this older hotel. Great landscaping, friendly service and a wonderful place for us to stop on our way home from the coast. Parking is a little tight, but otherwise it was a great stay!

Charming older motel that was very, very clean and comfortable. It's located across from a Burger King and down the block from a great old school Dairy Queen. Easy on and off freeway, I was surprised at the size and selection of businesses that Los Banos has- I really expected a small town, not such a clean and developed city. "Economy in Los Banos, Ca"
Nice room overall. Had Directv, AC, and the shower was awesome. The only beef I had is that I'm 6'4", and there were double beds instead of queens, so my feet hung off the bed. But if your in Los Banos, it's the place to stay.

"Economy Inn -- amazingly clean"
When I don't pay very much, I don't expect very much, really. All I had hoped that the nonsmoking room had no lingering smell of cigarettes. What I didn't expect was a room so clean that I opened the curtains just to check the windows Everything was spotless. The bedding was fresh and crisp. The plants and outside were well maintained. "Los Banos!"
This was a descent hotel for the price. We were only there long enough to get some sleep before we had to be back on the road again. However, the “complimentary breakfast” listed, as an amenity was a joke! The person at the front desk let me pick from a Tupperware container filled with about 4 Honey Bun pastries and 4 wrinkly apples.

If you have the occasion to spend time in Los Banos, we highly recommend this hotel. It's family owned and there is pride in ownership. It was an excellent find for us. "Old, but good value"
Parking is a bit cramped, rooms are small in this older motel, but that also means the walls are thick (quiet). Each room has a fridge and microwave; no coffeemaker, but excellent coffee available from office. Shampoo also available from office. A first rate tile shower and very comfortable beds. "Beautiful landscaping and exteriors"
You cannot beat the quality of Economy Inn for the price. In this case, we got more than we expected for the money spend. We were very pleased with the management, our rooms were upgraded at their suggestion and they were very helpful even though we got in quite late.. We would definitely return to the conveniently located Economy Inn!!!

The hotel was located on the main drag and pretty central to everything, best of all it was walking distance from Dairy Queen and a pizza joint. Hotels.com listed free breakfast; it only consisted of a danish and an apple but it was free. The hotel staff was very accommodating and the rooms were super clean. Even the beds were comfortable with pillows […] that actually gave me a good night sleep. After traveling as much as I have it was nice to have such a clean bathroom to take a shower in. "Price and privacy"
Even on Pacheco Blvd, the overnight traffic was muffled very well by layout of buildings. Good mattresses!
"Great landscaping and clean rooms"
We have family in the area and always stay at this lodge when we come to visit. It is very clean and well kept for the price. There is a 7-11 down the street and a fast food restaurant across the street for a quick morning breakfast. The outside has beautiful landscaping and is very well kept.

Overall was adequate, pleasant exterior. Rooms a bit 'dowdy, and small'. Bathroom dated. WiFi service didn't work for me, which as one of the main attractions for me, staff wasn't able to help. But all in all, a GOOD VALUE.

"Los Banos"
This motel has been lovingly refurbished by the current owner/manager. The result shows real pride of ownership and positive sweat-equity. He has taken an aged motel and spiffed it up with a pleasing street presence, good beds, good furniture, and excellent entertainment via the TV and DISH network. Everything was decent. It's quiet. The only negative was the shower. Can't control water temp and the water sprays out randomly. TV was hard to navigate. Nice to have a refrigerator, microwave and internet.

"Schönes Hotel in einer ungemütlichen Gegend"
Das Hotel an sich ist schön anzusehen. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber sauber. Leider ist die Gegend in der sich das Hotel befindet nicht die beste. Draußen auf dem Parkplatz lungerten die ganze Zeit irgendwelche Mexikaner herum. Nachts wurde dann an unsere Tür geklopft, aber es war niemand zu sehen. Allgemein ist es sehr hellhörig. Das kontinentale Frühstück […] kann man sich sparen. Ein Apfel und ein Muffin. Dazu Kaffee, das war alles. Es gibt keinen Frühstücksraum. Wir waren dann gegenüber bei Burger King.
