Barefoot Beach Pad - Cabarete

Magnifique hotel donnant directement sur la plage. Nous avons eu droit à un excellent accueil de la part d'Andres, le gérant, nous ne parlons pas l'espagnol et pourtant nous avons quand même pu discuter un peu avec lui car il est très gentil et serviable. Hector, le patron de l'hotel est extrêmement sympatique et ayant vécu à New-York parle anglais […] couramment! Les chambres sont incroyablement grandes, confortables, d'une grande propreté. La piscine bien entretenue, le petit-déjeuner ((Toasts et café) est offert mais vous pouvez commander ce qu'il vous plaira car la carte est assez variée et abordable. Enfin, si vous aspirez au calme et à la tranquilité, n'allez pas plus loin! L'hotel se situe à la sortie de Cabarete à l'écart des grands complexes hôteliers et il comporte 10 chambres seulement, vous croiserez donc, peu de monde. Lisez la suite

We were looking for nice little peaceful place in Cabarete and we have found it!! By the beach, with a pool and a real freindly service. Congratulations to the owner and see you next time.

I had a great time at Barefoot Beach Pad and I will definitely stay again! Waking up every day with the beach and ocean literally steps from my balcony was worth it!

My boyfriend and I spent 2 nights at Barefoot and absolutely loved it. It's a little off the beaten bath of the chaos of downtown Cabarete, but only a short taxi ride into town ($2-$6). Hector the owner really transforms the hotel into more of a bed and breakfast type feeling by personally greeting you at the gate. He knew my name before I could even […] introduce myself! He showed us around the hotel and then took the time to explain our local surroundings and what to expect. He let us know what we could expect to pay for taxi services so we weren't taken advantage of as tourists, and also made several recommendations for restaurants and night life in town. The beach outside the restaurant was completely empty of other tourists and so beautiful and peaceful. Aside from the amazing customer service the hotel was immaculately clean and very comfortable. It was true simple living which matches the Dominican lifestyle. Even being a little bit outside of town we felt safe at all times with a groundskeeper on site at all times and added security at night. We plan on returning to Cabarete early next year and definitely plan on returning to see Hector and stay at the Barefoot again! Lisez la suite

Ideal for quite, reflective oasis for those looking for tranquility with an option to still be near town. I volunteered with the DREAM project in town, so it was great to be able to walk to town, but then rest on the beach after! Hector and Andres were great in getting you around and helping you out. The place is a little out of town 5 minutes. But I like that, its right on the water and all you hear is the surf.the place is run well and the day to day guys whose on siteall the time is a great cook.they have a small menu but for a few extra pesos he will be you personal chef we found some fresh local fish and he prepared it great.I am already to […] go back. The views from ocean front suite balcony are great, but other then that this hotel doesnt have much. Its at least 20 - 30 minutes to the nearest airport, the hotel doesnt really have a restaurant, the beds feel like rocks, the staff consists of 1 guy and his wife. The view was amazing just feet away from the beach entrance that was great.The Genaral staff where great a wonderful couple. But the manager is the rudest man I have ever met and beacause of his rudest we checked out earlier than planned. Our next trip to DR we will be using another surrounding hotel.

It was better than I expected. I was greeted by Hector after I was able to find the bell to have someone open the gate. (I took a taxi to get there, but Hector would have picked me up at the airport for less money had I known about that service.) He was very friendly and was quite helpful in attending to our comfort. The room was lovely and very comfortable. […] The pool area was beautiful and there was a covered bar and food area adjacent. There was easy access to the beach as it was just steps from the pool area. Everyone who worked there was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was located just outside of town. It was more relaxing for me being away from the noise and people of the town. However it was possible to walk to town or Hector was willing to drive us to town. Taxis or motorbikes were easily available to return us to the hotel at a very reasonable cost. It was fun to go to town, but I spent most of my time enjoying the peace and beautiful scenery of the hotel. Even though we had to vacate our room at noon, we were allowed to use the pool area and food service until our time to leave at 4:00. When it was time to leave, Hector took us to the Marina about 50 minutes away at a very reasonable cost. His willingness to help us out was exceptional. I was just there for one night before I joined a group for a week on the Silver Bank. It was a terrific experience and I will return to this hotel when I visit the Puerto Plata area again. Highly recommendable. Very nice staff but a little bit far from Cabarete if you´re on foot.

Hotel management was friendly, willing and ready to make my visit the best. This small hotel is secure, new and everything works. Rooms are open, clean, and the pool is very nice. Will return in June to celebrate sons graduation, they'll love it.

Vi är jättenöjda med hotellet på alla sätt. Detta var vår bästa semester någonsin. Fin personal, vi kände oss välmottagna och omhändertagna. Hade en "hotellig" hemkänsla. Hotellet ligger vid stranden, bara med en snygg staket mellan. Poolen är också fin och ren. Baren&restaurangen i det fria är riktigt trevlig, oceanen brusar behagligt i bakgrunden. […] Underbar strandpromenad från hotellet till Cabarete fog ca. 30 minuten. Härligt! Vi fick fina tips från hotellmanagern om sevärdheter och tjänster. Vi kände oss trygga med den information som vi fick. Vi vill mycket gärna komma tillbaka till Barefoot Beach Pad. カバレテに到着して、タクシー運転手や観光警察にホテルの場所を聞いたが、誰も知らない。警官にホテルに電話してもらい迎えに来てもらった。 道路沿いに簡単な標識があるが、奥まっており、入り口が不明。初めて来る外国人には判別できない。 ホテルは部屋数１０で、民宿レベル。従業員も２～３名。 部屋には冷蔵庫がなく、水も貰いに行く必要がある。 レストランはなく、簡単な軽食を作ってくれた。近くのレストランまで５分程歩く必要がある。 料金の割には、Hotels.com　の紹介と程遠い悪いイメージを受けた。
