"montmartre"
tres bien à tous point de vue . accueil chaleureux ;
"best western montmartre"

"Not bad at all..."
Don't get me wrong but indeed the hotel is not bad at all but... 1) the night concierge which was the first face we met was altogether rude and quite unwilling to help even when we had the full stay payed in advance and he didn't seem to find the reservation. Whatever he got us waiting nearly an hour... after midnight. Not what you expect when you are […] tired after traveling and need a warm shower and a soft bed. 2) The hotel is not bad located; as a matter of fact is 2 blocks from a very convenient and accessible to most interesting places metro stop but again the area is controversial: lots of funny faces, streets paved with trash and street girls. Personally I have nothing against -we were traveling with my brother- so being two men this was not a problem but if we think about a family with kids or women alone well... who knows. 3) Value against services: I guess there should be better options. Just another Best Western... OK hotel; Kudos to the desk staff... especially the night time concierge.
i was on 5th floor, and two windows! Ok! Near metro.
"Great hotel, sketchy location"
Spent four nights at the best western Montmartre. Great service all around and while small, the rooms were clean, modern, and very nice. The hotel is just meters from the chateau rouge metro stop, so getting into the center of Paris is simple and quick. Only complaint is that the surrounding neighborhood wasn't terrific, there were a few prostitutes […] hanging around for example. We walked to a further metro station one day and were surrounded on all sides by pushy men trying to sell metro tickets anf other wares. Other than that, we didn't have any problems though and as long as you don't wander too far up the street it's no big deal. Lisez la suite
"hotel great, location not"
The hotel itself was very clean, adequate, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. However, the location is not the best for women traveling alone. During the daytime, this location is OK but we did not feel comfortable out and about after dark in this neighborhood.
This is an excellent hotel but it is slightly out of the centre of Paris but not too far from Montmatre. Local area is not ideal for tourists. The hotel was very comfortable with a reasonably sized room for Paris and the room and very clean, good shower, and well furnished. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very helpful and attentive.
"Good, clean hotel with good service."
Close to Gare du Nord train station, Metro, Sacre Coeur and boulevards de Rochechouart and Clichy. Rooms small as expected in France. Service well above average and free WiFi.
"Close but no cigar"
This hotel is merely average. Rooms are small, but clean. Staff is not particularly friendly. Based on the neighborhood, you would never know you were in Paris. Not many restaurants available in the immediate area.
"Nice, clean little hotel"
I can recommend this nice little place. Not expensive, OK location, concierges are very kind and helpful, everything is nice and clean.
"Best Western Monmartre"
My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel for 2 days on our to Austria, we found the staff very helpful as they went out of their way to recommend restaurants and call us a cab to the airport. The cleaning lady was very accommodating when we were not ready to leave the room by noon for her cleaning duties. I disliked the neighborhood though.
"Overall, excellent stay"
The hotel is very clean and nice. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. The elevator is pretty big by European standards - particularly Paris. The only complain I had was about the house keeping service. They cleaned the room well but sometimes forgot to put toiletries and once even left the window open! We complained to the front desk […] and they were very apologetic. The internet is great! The location is also fantastic - being so close to the metro station. The rest of Paris is within reach. The basilica is a short walk. The neighborhood is a bit seedy late at night - however, we didn't really care (we were two women) - since no one bothered us and it was just a very short walk from the metro to the hotel. I would definitely stay here again! Lisez la suite

"Hotel Best Western Monmartre"
I was in Paris from 4 to 8 february in this Hotel, located between two underground's stations (Monmartre zone) and well connected to the rest of the city of Paris with bus. The Hotel's service was very good with daily room cleaning. I would advise not to go out and roam the streets at night in that neighborhood (advice given to me by friends in Pa […] ris). "Located in MontMartre...Really???"
Nice and clean Hotel, no problem for that... BUT: this hotel is not located in MontMartre; it is located in an unsafe part of Paris where you see people lying and sleeping on the sidewalk right in front of the hotel entrance. If you think that it is located in the nice and safe area of MontMartre then think again! You will not feel safe when coming […] back to the hotel in the evening and even worst at night !!! I do not recommend this hotel because of the location not because of the hotel itself or the staff which was very nice and helpful. Lisez la suite
"Best Western Montmarte"
Choose this hotel because it specifically states on the advertised webpage on Hotels.com that there is onsite carparking - arrived to be told no onsite carpaking but there were carparks within 5mins walk at a cost of €35 per 24 hours stay. The location & neighbourhood would not have been an issue if on-site carparking was available. The hotel itself […] is in a good condition for 3 star clean and well maintained. The staff on the other hand hit & miss 50% are pleasant helpfull and friendly the other 50% lazy unfriendly and at times aggresive not good qualities for dealing with the general public. I would advise paying a little extra for hotel accomodation more central you will save on transportation costs and have better piece of mind being able to walk out of your hotel and 5 mins down the road to find somewhere nice to have a coffee or breakfast makes all the difference in Paris unfortunately you could not do this in this neigbourhood. All in all nice hotel in a bad area with staffing issues would suggest employing people who like dealing with the general public especially tourists and a willingness to be helpful when needed not rude. "Helpful Personnel"
Especially helpful were the personel at the reception. Giving suggestions for restaurants Mr. Gir. (Chez Marguerite) or getting the room heat to operate properly (thank you Mr. Alex.) And the house cleaning staff was very friendly (thank you Madame Fati.). For a small hotel a very nice breakfast buffet.
"Best Western Montmartre Paris - Good Value"
Unpretentious hotel, a one-minute walk from Chateau Rouge metro station, in the Montmartre (very ethnic) area of Paris. Sacre Coeur cathedral within walking distance. Easy metro access to all the rest. Carrefour supermarket plus a cafe right next door. Hotel rooms compact but absolutely adequate - no fridge in the room, but a kettle and tea/coffee making […] facilities. Good value for money and front desk staff very helpful and friendly, speak good English. Within walking distance of Gare du Nord for Eurostar and Thalys trains unless you have masses of luggage. All in all - a very good option. Lisez la suite
"Monmarte"
Hotel and staff were nice. Hall way was small. Room was nice and modern but very small. Breakfast at 15 euros is overpriced. Most hotels have breakfast for free. Neighborhood was a bit seedy but still convienent to Metro and about 15 minutes walk to Sacre Coure. It was OK but I will stay in the Latin Quarter next time I visit Paris.
"The hotel is near the Metro and good restaurants"
Clean, tidy and comfortable with helpful staff. Breakfast very enjoyable. Highly recommend.
"Very close to Pigalle and to 2 metro stations"
We stayed 4 nights (we had 2 double rooms) at the hotel. We were very happy when we saw our rooms, because we had some fears fo all the hotels in Paris and what we have read on the critics before. The rooms are not very spacious, however they are very clean, very sophisticated and not smelling!!!The bathrooms were also very clean and you could enjoy […] bathing!! The staff was very helpful and helped us a lot with the information they gaveus (especially thanks to Alexander!!). We are really satisfied with our choice and we strongly suggest it!!! "Best western montmartre - Nice hotel near to metro"
The hotel is conveniently located near the chateau rouge metro line with an easy 3 minutes walk to the hotel with luggage in tow. The hotel itself is cozy and I found my room with a double bed to be in pristine condition with a nice shower. Really good standard hotel. The hotel is located in an area of Paris that has plenty of immigrants who tout their […] wares on the streets though they do not harass anyone. With the immigrants come many middle eastern cafes and African markets that sell halal food. Overall it's a pleasant stay and I would highly recommend it. Lisez la suite
"Lovely hotel in central paris"
A great hotel in a convenient location and very well priced through hotels.com. The staff were very friendly and we were very pleasantly surprised by the room. Basic but very well presented and to a high standard. We will definitely be going back!
"Best western montmartre"
The reception staff were very helpful. It is close to the metro station so easy to get around. Was a little concerned about the area on arrival, but was pleasantly surprised how friendly the people were.
"The Best Western Hotel , Montemarte Paris"
My partner and I had the most enjoyable stay @ the Best Western Montmarte, we had a lovely large room overlooking the garden of Hotel,we chose this as it is quiter than the city view, The Hotel was bright and clean , bed very comfortable, breakfast was excellent huge buffet great choice and nice to have eggs along with cereal fruit croissants ,muffins, […] yogurts, etc, The neighbour hood is very bohemian and also its where the regular citizens go about their daily life, but its so convinent, the metro is 3 min walk away, and we loved the walk up to Sacre Cour and Montmarte it takes around 15 mins at relaxed pace. Their is also a lovely room in lobby to relax daily papers and freee internet access. The staff were more than helpful, giving us full attention and directions to different places, organised taxis etc. One staff in Particular Alexandre was a true gentleman he gave us advice on good bars and places to eat, we really had such a lovely stay, and would highly recommend this hotel if you wish to spend time in the Montemarte area, a true feeling of the real Paris. "Nice hotel, value for money - dodgy neighbourhood"
Good value for money. The hotel is probably the best I've stayed in in Paris (for this price), being recently renovated. Neighbourhood is dodgy if you walk up from Gare du Nord along Magenta and Barbes, particularly around the metro stops. Tip: Where Magenta joins the start of Barbes, take a left at Rochechouart, then right into Clignancourt, which […] runs parallel to Barbes. Much less dodgy. Lisez la suite

The hotel is very conveniently located for the metro. It is very clean and staff are very friendly and helpful willing to recommend local restaurants & providing maps etc. We would definately stay there again

"Best Western Montmartre"
The staff were very friendly, the location was good and the room was great. As soon as we arrived the reception clerk greeted us with friendly chat and advice for our stay in Paris. We arrived early (just to find where we were staying and stow our bags) and the service we were given was superb. The neighbourhood is lively and has plenty of character. […] The room was clean and comfortable. Over all we had a good stay. Lisez la suite
"Best Western Montmartre"
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this hotel. From the minute we entered the building we were welcomed & made to feel at home. We were given guidance on where to go & see & directions to various local spots were very good. Free internet was available & Alexandre was so helpful & made our stay very pleasant. Thank you. We would definitely stay there […] if visiting Paris again. Lisez la suite
"Hotel Montmarte - decent hotel - poor area"
The hotel room was spacious by Paris standards and with a beautiful modern bathroom. Unfortunately the beds were poor, the pillows worse and some of the bedding not that clean. The area is just north of Gare Du Nord and though descibed by the hotel as 'cosmoplitain' others are likely to say it is very obviously poor and run down. It is a very quick […] uphill walk to the Sacre Coeur and in fact just getting to the street parallel to the street the hotel is on made us feel much safer and more comfortable. I would recommend the hotel (staff were lovely) but would be very clear about the area immediately around the hotel to anyone thinking of staying. Lisez la suite
"Best Western Monmartre"
Although conveniently located, the surrounding areas to the hotel were not kept clean. This may be due to current public worker strikes in the Paris localities. Hotel itself was excellent but our room was cramped with the limited locker located in a narrow space
