Bel hôtel, bien situé avec tram et bus gratuits vers le centre de la ville en 10 mn. Possibilité de laver son linge et de le sécher. Moderne, propreté des chambres et lieux communs, personnel de la réception compétent et aimable, petits déjeuners continentaux très bons et copieux, rien à redire si ce n'est que la chambre était un peu juste en taille […] pour les 3 lits une personne. Trois semaines de pur bonheur dans cet hotel très confortable que ce soit à Sydney ou Melbourne. L'hotel est tres bien situé, gare routiere à 5 minutes à pied, parc à proximité. Seul "inconvénient" le personnel ne parle pas le Français mais on trouve toujours des touristes Francophones qui peuvent nous aider. Allez-y foncer!!!!!

Stayed at Travelodge Dockland from April 28-May 2. In my opinion, it is probably between 3 to 3.5 star standard, not 4 star. Hotel staff were quite friendly and helpful that was a plus for customer service. The self-operated washer/dryer is convenient but might help better if time cycle info is provided on site. The hotel staff was not very sure of […] it and could not give us helpful info for that matter of fact but they did try. Room comfort was just really average. Room size is very small to be honest. Cleanliness was okay but towels supplied were not for 2 persons use, just really for 1 person throughout our whole stay. Toilet shower handle was not working properly and toilet sink drain was clogged and took a while for water to drain, we encountered same issues every morning and night when in the room. Location wise, it isn't the most convenient but it wasn't that difficult to move around really. Takes a little bit of routing and if you have the time to spare and likes walking, I wouldn't complain about it. Just keep away from the construction site nearby and the cafes around the corner, Came back to the hotel one night with smashed bottle pieces scattered all over the traffic junction and onto the roads leading to the hotel and saw people drinking silly. The surrounding safety would be my first concern if I should go back to stay at this hotel again, but then again, it is a newer area where developments are going on, hopefully it gets better with time. the staff and the room and hotel was excellent so close to everything and the room was very qiuet no noise at all, we will gladly recommend your hotel and we will have no hesitation to come and stay there again ....

Handy to Southern Cross station and skybus by foot. Quiet , clean and good air con/heating system . Kitchen stuff incl. microwave handy. Location fine esp. during the day. Would definitely use again if price competitive

Very pleased with the location of this hotel - close to Southern Cross station where the SkyBus to the airport goes from. All hotel staff we encountered were very helpful. Room was good, as was breakfast!

Stayed in Travelodge, Docklands for the Grand Prix weekend mainly due to the cost which overall represented pretty good value. Docklands isnt the most convenient place to stay but was still walking distance to the centre and restaurants. Hotel was in walking distance to the downtown area and very conveniently located to the city transit system if needed. Things that could be improved however, would be more English proficient reception desk staff,, especially after hours. Great hotel. Located right near the southern cross station and not far from shopping.

This hotel seems quite new and the rooms are really nice - comfy bed, sparkling clean bathroom, big TV. The hotel doesn't have a proper restaurant, but the room has a microwave and crockery and cutlery, so you can eat in your room. On the ground floor there is coin-operated internet kiosks, also washing machines and dryers. On a shopping weekend with my sisters we enjoyed staying at Travelodge Docklands. Good location for seeing Docklands and near to CBD. Close to Etihad Stadium, train station and Harbour Town Shopping Outlet. Clean, quiet and friendly. More of a in-house dinner range would be suggested, even a restaurant for dinner. Otherwise, happy with our stay.

Have stayed in hotel 4 or 5 times now since it has opened i think it great close to main attraction i love it for the footy i have recommend to quite a few people that live in Tasmania Victoria New south wales and queenslanders and also Newzealanders its a great place to stay regards Rodney Wodonga Victoria

I was there on a business trip and the hotel is in a great location, nice friendly staff and the room was very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

The Hotel location is easily accessible, condusive to my needs, (heart of DOCKLANDS). The service and cleanliness of my room was very satisfying, the rates are affordable. The only drawback is the location of the car park, first timer like me, experienced difficulties (I got lost) in the process of going out the premises. By the time I saw the noticeboard, […] I already roamed around. It would be ideal to display a large notice board that can be visible to everyone. Would be user friendly providing adequate information in various languages (dominant guests; eg. Japanese, Korean, Chinese etc), I observed many foreigners were checking in during my stay. I would like to point out that car parking was the only flaw. I experienced difficulties finding the exit to access the hotel. In the duration of my stay, I encountered some lost souls in the car park, the majority were foreigners who speaks very little English. (I was ending up directing the traffic, re: exit to the elevator and where to go). Maybe because it was a public holiday, the nearby shortcut to access elevator at the nearby building (just assumed that it was a short cut to access the building where the cafeteria is located, when your passing the corridor near elevator) were closed. With a huge and numerous luggage to manuever, I found this very difficult to navigate the street finding the hotel entrance. Overall, apart from my initial difficulties, I am happy and satisfied of the service, friendly staff, ambience, facililities and location. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Recommendations: - Easy access from car park to hotel entrance. - In place adequate signage in various (dominant guests languages. - Clear instructions in basic English accompanied with maps/directions/pictograps drawings for those experiencing difficulties with literacy (unable to read). - Providing easy contact (intercom) requesting for Porter to assit with luggage (when advisable). - Front desk staff to inquire if luggage assistance Lisez la suite

A very convenient central place with friendly efficient compotent staff. I use soy and there was cheerful delivery of this the couple of times I requested some in my room. A couple of other requests were met with similar cheerfulness. I will use this place again

The only slight disappointment was the breakfast; the scrambled eggs were runny and didn't taste of much and there was no fresh fruit as part of the buffet

Great stay. Location terrific easy walking distance and tram services which service all of melbourne and docklands. Pleasant stay like to do it again

We only stayed 1 night But all staff were very friendly. Very close to where We needed to go Very Handy to everything Convenience store very close if You needed a snack !!!!

Super convenient location, right across from the Southern Cross station. Delicious Thai food a block away, and an easy walk to the Aquarium, Federation Square, and the Royal Botanical Gardens. Very clean, comfortable, and the best breakfast (for under $20) that I've had in Australia.

Currently surrounded by roadworks. Short walk to Etihad Statium. Without a map difficult to negoitiate different level roads spent some time walking in circles. My room was not properly cleaned. Clothing & rubbish of former stayer under bed the proof. I arrived as the Firebrigade were disarming an alarm or faulty pump. Staff did not notify me or give […] any indication as to what was going on. I would have been much happier had staff communicated and offered me more information regarding getting from A to B. overall, pleasant experience. an express checkout service desperately needed, took around 25min to queue for checkout on sunday morning.

Enjoyed our stay, nice comfy rooms but the king bed is just to big for the room but very friendly staff. No eat in diner though which would of been nice, only a resturant for breakfast on the 4th floor. Apart from that, will stay there agin.

the hotel overall was good and located conveniently next to Southern Cross Station. However the bed was not too comfy. no doona was provided (only a thin blanket). I had asked for a proper doona at reception, but it was never delivered (minus for the service). I had back pain every morning four days in a row.

Great location for stadium and transport. Staff were great. Took a while to get the TV working!!

Positives: Clean & Neat; close to lots of entertainment facilities (main reason for booking) and public transport; fairly quiet Negatives: Lifts were very slow and intermittent; TV did not work on arrival and reception a little slow; furnishings a little on the budget/spartan side; a pillow menu on offer would have added to a more relaxed stay

Staff where rude when checked out after finding that mice or rats had been in the room after we had been out at 1.30 in the morning, did'nt even stay there any longer, what a dump!!!!!!!

Great place to stay if your going to Etihad Stadium for the footy and if you need to do a little retail therapy just minutes from the shops. The only down side was at 12.30 am the tanoid system at Southern Cross station announces its closing VERY LOUDLY and woke us up. We found this within easy walking distance to the Yarra river, Docklands and close to the tram lines. Short walk to the Southern Railway and Etihad Stadium. We had a nice view of parts of the city and enjoyed our one night stay. It was nice and quiet.

The hotel was very clean and staff most helpful. If going to Edihan Stadium for the football, great place to stay. Also very close to Southern Cross Station.

The hotel is close to the train station & tram stops. a short walk to the casino and shopping. Etihad stadium across the road. The staff were fantastic and soooo friendly !!! Would def stay here again !! thanks for a great stay :)

the hotel was conveniently located close to the conference centre I was attending which made it worthwhile. Very easy to catch the train back to Gippsland also
