We are a young couple and we staid two nights at this hotel in december 2012. The bearkfast was oustanding (bold eggs, waffle that you make by yourself etc..) and the room was clean and quiet but a bit small. The hotel was also near the downtown (25mn by feet) which was convenient. We recommend it.

Motel, plutôt sympa, très jolie chambre et bon breakfast, à proximité d'un bon et beau restaurant. Vue magnifique, dommage la plage n'est accessible...à 2 heures de San Francisco accueil sympathique.

"Our new Ojai"

"A Great Getaway!"
Absolutely wonderful! The room was spacious and the surroundings gorgeous. The grounds were maintained with excellence and the added touch of a fountain right outside of our room was an added treat. "Warm and Comfy"

"Wonderful Getaway"
The young man and woman that work in the front desk are very nice and thoughtful. On the first evening of our two-day stay, they brought cookies and a vase with locally grown lavender to our room. I've stayed at the Meadowlark Inn several times over the years, and this is the second time I've left a review. Forgive me, if I repeat myself. It's always a pleasure. I'm a low maintenance guy, but I find the accommodations to be quaint, quiet, convenient and reasonably priced. I believe there's a small pool available, tho' I've never used it, as well […] as hot tubs adjacent to certain rooms. You can also check-out VHS videos and DVDs, possibly books and games, too. Most, if not all the rooms have a small, stocked kitchenette. The rooms may include Wi-Fi, too. There is also a fire pit and a grill available in the center courtyard. Finally, you can enjoy a free, continental breakfast in the morning. It's close to the casino, Solvang, wineries and tasting rooms in Santa Ynez and Los Olivos. Nothing too fancy, no bells or whistles. Just clean, spacious, close, comfortable, quaint, quiet, and reasonably priced accommodations.... Conveniently located close to Los Olivos, Santa Ynez, and Solvang... in Santa Barbara Wine Country. Free Wi-Fi is included with the room, but not advertised. The TV includes a DVD player. The rooms include a small […] kitchenette with a stove/oven, refrigerator, dishes, utensils, and a few small pots and pans. Outside, in the center courtyard, a grill is available. There are also a few hot tubs on-site. My only (minor) complaint is this... the free continental breakfast isn't much to celebrate. But that's really the only downside to this charming B&B.
