The hotel was clean and conveniently located, but the staff was almost deliberatly unhelpful - they did not know where an ATM might be, and it took them three days to wash a few pairs of shirts. The motel was pretty good but the food at the breakfast provided was awful. It has been a long time since I've had food that bad.

While the accommodations were on the small side, they were comfortable and we slept well. The hotel is very energy conscious with lights that are disabled when you exit the room. The lights in the hallways are on motion sensors and turn off quite quickly. We learned to dance around a bit while waiting for the elevator to keep the lights on. There was […] always some light though. Morning breakfasts (not included with room) always had two kinds of cake (pineapple, chocolate, etc), eggs, fruit salad, pastries, cereal, etc. The only weird thing about the breakfasts was the "sausages" which were basically chunks of hot dog in something like tomato soup. Maybe that is a regional thing, but it was not to my taste. Overall, if you are looking for a base for expeditions around the city, this place is good and comfortable. There was always someone at the front desk that spoke at least a little English (some quite well). We stayed there before and after a jungle camping trip and they held some excess baggage for us while we were between visits. There is a safe in every room that had plenty of space for a couple of cameras, (one SLR with several lenses), a gps, wallets, and a netbook PC. Quite comforting. From this hotel we walked to the money exchange (cambio), the opera house, the port and the municipal market as well as some nice small parks and restaurants. I would recommend this hotel. My wife and I arrived late at night around 1am. The staff checked us in promptly and we found our room to be very adequate for the brief time that we were going to stay. The only issue we had was a couch in the first room of the suite which had some disgusting looking stains on it. Vantagem: o hotel realmente é bem localizado, mas diferentemente do divulgado fica há aproximadamente 1,5km do Teatro de Manaus; custo-benefício é mto bom; a recepção é mto prestativa.Crítica: café da manhã variado, mas praticamente sem produtos e alimentos regionais.

A exigência do pagamento das diárias do período no check-in é um absurdo. Segundo os gerentes, é essa a politica do hotel. Não fiz confusão porque cheguei a meia-noite, estava com pessoa da melhor idade e só passaria o sábado e sairia na madrugada do domingo pra segunda feira.

Quarto amplo, confortável e limpo. Banheiro espaçoso e também sempre limpo. Atendimento cordial, sem problemas na reserva. Estacionamento amplo já incluído na diária. O único porém foi o acesso à Internet que simplesmente não funcionou nos quatro dias que passei no hotel, apesar das minhas reclamações. Ainda assim, recomendaria.

Zentral gelegen in ruhiger Nebenstraße. Kurzer Fußweg zum Theatro und anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Große Zimmer, Mobiliar teilweise verschrammt. Fahrstuhl sehr gewöhnungsbedüftig (keine Etagenanzeige innen, schmutzig, Verkleidung tw. defekt). Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit, im Restaurant nicht englischsprachig. atenção na higienização e limpeza dos quartos pois deixa demais a desejar, colocando em suspeita outros serviços oferecidos pelo hotel, na primeira noite jantamos no mesmo, nas demais não, pois ficamos inseguros em relaçao a higiene... a conferencia do frigobar é desonesta e desorganizada, hora repoem, hora não dai gera duplicidade de consumo... detalhes […] que irritam a gente no final e acabamos pagando para não termos dor de cabeça mas acabam por pesar nas proximas escolhas . O hotel Saint Paul é muito bem localizado, a apenas duas quadras do teatro Amazonas. Por outro lado, ele anuncia como apart e não oferece recursos de apart. Só tem frigobar e uma pia, sem fogão, utensílios, nada. Além disso, a região é meio suspeita - tem um cinema de sexo explícito bem ao lado, mas parece que Manaus é uma cidade bem misturada (lugares […] bons perto de lugares degradados). O atendimento do hotel foi cortês exceto na chegada, à noite, quando o atendente alegou que não tínhamos reserva. Acho que o preço do hotel é alto pelo que oferece, mas não achei nada melhor em Manaus - de nível médio, bem localizado e limpo, na região central. Lisez la suite
