I had a very lovely recent holiday at this resort. It was very quiet, with a gorgeous spa and little understated luxuries. I loved the little touches like the daily fruit in the room and the flip-flops and umbrella, amongst other things. I used the spa three times and found it to be the relaxing indulgent experience that I so needed. The facilities […] were excellent, beautiful grounds and the swimming pool was out of this world! I found the choice of restaurants handy, although I stuck to the beach bar mostly and found the food to be delicious and good value. I attempted a walk along the beach however and found it to be fairly filthy in parts, and not easily navigable so I stuck to the pool mostly. I would recommend this resort, however there are 4 things that I would like to point out: 1. the bed was extraordinarily uncomfortable, very very hard and in the end I used spare pillows and cushions to sleep on. 2. there was no wifi in my room as I had been told there would be. No hardship as there was wifi in the pool area but just a disappointment. 3. my bath was disconnected to the water. It was a beautiful bath with a lovely view and would've been great to use but every time I turned the taps on I could hear water cascading outside. It raised the issue of what the cleaners did to clean the bath?? 4. The music in the beach bar; the same cd on a constant loop over the course of one week was tortuous! This is a great 5 star "hotel". It is actually all individual villas. Very beautiful. There isn't much nearby the hotel in walking distance, but they provide daily shuttles. They do a daily boat trip to coral island, which was great, and everything is included! This one of the best resort I have stayed at in recent years. The service is the best I have experienced. Right from the reception and check-in, buggy car boys, restaurant and breakfast waiters etc had the most cheerful , friendly and helpful nature throughout our stay of 4 days. The resort is located right on the beach and spread out on a little hill, it might be a little big or steep to walk around to the restaurant or beach but they have an excellent system of sending the buggy cars (electric golf carts) for pick up and drop throughout the resort. Breakfast was nice with a choice of about 25 -30 items. The fruit selection and cold cuts were kept in a separate ac room to prevent any flies, it was very hygienic idea. We ate at the restaurant twice at night for dinner and was happy with the quality and pricing was also reasonable. Small gestures like complementary 2 water bottles per day and fresh fruit in your room everyday made you feel that the resort had a genuine interest in your stay. The rooms look exactly like the photos on expedia and the staff were so lovely, they were always smiling and happy to see you and actually had personality but their customer service and earnest work ethic put every other 5 star resort we've ever stayed at to shame. They're […] great with kids too. You never ever got the sense the staff were on a daily grind and they gave us some great tips on where to eat out and how much we should be paying for taxi's etc.. What's more, it's in a part of Phuket that is quiet and secluded. You can get to Patong and do all that if you want, or you could have the staff organise trips and activities for you and you'd never know you were on an island famous for its partying. I really loved our stay here. It was so relaxing & quiet with a great view of the islands across the bay. We booked an ocean front villa as part of our honeymoon & got upgraded to an ocean front with a private pool. It was wonderful ! The grounds are lush & landscaped & we hardly ever heard our neighbors, even from outside. It is more green & pretty […] than super fancy with gold trim and such. It is not very close to a major town, but that's what makes it relaxing. They do run 2 shuttles a day (free) to Patong & to a big mall if u want. But if you are only there a few days, the restaraunt by the pool was very good with Thy dishes running $7-8 & great cocktails only $3 at happy hour! The only thing you should know is that at low tide the water goes out & it turns into a marsh for a few hours, but I thought it was kind of cool (& we are more pool than ocean people anyway). And at high tide I swam in the ocean no problem. Staff was very friendly & the breakfast was fantastic. For those who love the beach, don't stay here! Resort is tired and hard to get around because of the steep terrain. We only stayed one night and found much better accom elsewhere for same price. Warning, tell them a day before if you want to leave early or else they take one nights cost as a cancellation fee.

When we arrived they shared with us that is they would be willing to wait a few extra hours that they were going to upgrade our room to a beach front villa with our own pool! We stayed in a pool villa and absolutely loved it - we couldn't have asked for more regarding the room. We did however find it suprising that a 5 star resort did not have wifi throughout the resort or a decent business centre/printing procedure to be able to print anything we needed. We in fact paid for about 10 pages when we needed 1! The service of […] staff was poor - apart from the lovely greeting girl who first met us... who then took us to a room type we hadn't booked... My wife and I booked the Vijitt in Rawai for the first week of our honeymoon in Thailand. We booked an ocean front villa, which was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in paradise. The front desk emloyees helped us very much throughout our stay, with bookings of outings and other requests. The resort is totally peaceful, […] with the infinity pool, and spa services. Although there are 95 or so villas available, the resort never felt busy. The pool was absolutely wonderful !! It is an enormous infinity pool, with several other wading levels above it. The pool is probably 50 meters long, by 20 meters wide, with black tiles and black granite. We enjoyed dipping in the pool when the sun got too hot for lounging. We ate at both restaurants offered at the resort. The Baan Vijitt is the original families home, offering authentic Thai food in or outdoors around the koy pond overlooking the ocean. The Savoury is the main restaurant, where both Thai and international cuisine is served all day long, along with the great breakfast buffet. We befriended servers named Tham and Keng at The Savoury and enjoyed interacting with them every day. The resort offers several day trips to local malls, and beaches, which was an added bonus. This was the best hotel stay we've ever experienced and I will recommend this resort to anyone looking for a quiet romantic place to stay in Phuket. The V Spa offers a wide range of treatments at regular spa prices-we loved our experience and are aware that street massages are a fraction of the cost!! Cleanliness, solitude &great products mean more to me! If I have anything negative but constructive it is:- - a 3km walk down a busy road to experience local restaurants (taxis are available and there are some bars a v. I was very disappointed when I found two silice of seafood pizza floating in our swimming pool. I was disgusting. I did not complain cuz we only stay less then 48 hours but hope they clean them next day which they did not. Also our room 53 was located by the hillside and seem like there were land slide. So 5 or more wokers were right front of our room […] since early morning and it was noisy and no privacy at all. However, view from our room was stunning and resort it self was in good condition. The resort is secluded and not open to the general public which eliminated the usual hawkers and beggars that may be present otherwise. This means a short drive to the local shops and restaurants was necessary but this is easy to arrange and is well worth the privacy in my opinion. The food is excellent, the pool is very nice and the SPA is awesome.The beach is so so .We could not swim ,but we could walk when the tide was out .They provide free transportation everyday to go to 2 beaches not far from the hotel .They also have free boat service to […] Coral Island everyday and it was convenient because both resorts were linked and we could sign our bills to our room .Our villa was not near the lobby or the spa but they also have buggys to come and get us and the service for that was very efficient .For rest and relaxation it is the best !! We had a beach front villa not far from the pool and restaurant .It was a great location .The only downside to the Vijitt is that there is a septic tank smell around the pool bar area at times,but not enough to make us not go back .!! We had some trouble with the remote for the DVD player and within minutes, there was someone there to fix the problem. The place is peaceful and quiet which was perfect for us. Patong is about 25 minutes away. . . you can use the car service from the hotel. Overall. . .just a fabulous experience.
