Très bon rapport qualité-prix, chambre très propre et neuve, confortable, tout fonctionne parfaitement, le tout pour un prix vraiment abordable. Une addresse à conseiller vivement.

Hôtel flambant neuf, petit déjeuner parfait, très bonne insonorisation de la chambre, lit très confortable, le personnel est gentil mais l'ambiance générale est glaciale et impersonnelle.

is well within walking distance Just walk along the river and you are there. We had a pleasant dinner prior to the concert and a very nice drink at the bar after the excellent concert. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful,the room comfortable and modern.And all this at a very reasonable price. We shall return.

Scandic Berlin is nice experience. Try to book with breakfast though, even if the breakfast is nice- €20 is to much. I miss moviechannels on the tv, stayed for 4 nights.

Location is near Potsdamer Platz and is generally fine, some could see it as a little out of the way but in reality its very easy to travel to and from and walking was no problem from here. Hotel itself was clean and modern but arriving on Sunday found the queues at the checkin desk unbarable - 20mins long!!! not enough staff i would say. Scandinavian minimalist hotel very close to the centre of Berlin. At Sept 2011 it had only been open 12 months and still in very good condition. We had the basic room but it was very well presented. Easy walking distance to checkpoint Charlie, the Reichstag and the Brandenburg Gate. Perfect for a short city break

Location, cleanliness, service was great. Supermarkets, shopping mall, train stations were within 2-4 mins walk. BUT the one way mirrored door to the bathroom/toilet is strange. You cannot see outside the toilet , but people you share the room with can see you In the toilet. Nearly zero privacy if you are sharing the room. No toiletries in bathroom […] except for bodywash lotion and soap dispenser near basin. But Lidl, Aldi, Kaiser supermarkets on virtually on the doorstep. Beds made every day, but linen not changed. My room had a small fridge, an iron and ironing board and a safe. I would stay here again if I was travelling alone. If they sorted out the crazy one way mirror toilet door, it would be 5* +. The Scandic Berlin is a nice clean hotel conveniently located very close to Potsdamer Platz. Our taxi driver spent an extra 5 minutes finding the hotel since the street it is on is new (as of Summer 2011), but didn't charge us for the extra time. The courtyard view from our room was slightly depressing, but courtyard views are rarely special anyway. […] Staff was efficient and helpful. New hotel, very comfortable. Restaurant very expensive for breakfast. Good restaurants nearby within easy walk.

We were not sure what to expect because I have not been in Berlin for many years, but the Scandic was a pleasant surprise. Very comfortable rooms (motif is modern and kind of funky but not absurd and uncomfortable like some new hotels in the US), very clean, courteous and efficient staff. The hotel is in the middle of Berlin, a short walk to Brandenburg […] Gate and the Reichstag (you must make online reservations in advance to see that) and other sights. Also just a block from a major subway/train station which makes getting anywhere in Belin an easy hop. Very nice bar/ restaurants in the hotel. Downsides are we did not have much information in the room on how things worked, such as in-room dining or valet, that you usually have in other hotels. But the staff were very helpful and it was really no problem. Food and drinks are kind of pricey -- breakfast (a great buffet with many selections) costs 20 Euros if not included in your package. All in all, this was a very good find -- I will stay there again and recommend it to anyone who wants to see and get to know Berlin. Lisez la suite

Very nice hotel with great staff. Very quiet room and a good size.

This is hotel is lovely. I stayed there for three nights with my friend. The bedroom is spotless. The staff were very welcoming and were happy to help us with our queries. The hotel is opposite the Postdam Arkaden (shopping centre). Would stay there again! Located right beside the underground station Mondelssohm Bartholdy Park.

The Scandic Berlin Potsdamer Platz is really clean with modern furnishings which reminds you of Ikea ! The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are really clean and neat, although the beds are slightly soft. The hotel is also very convenient to all the sights of interest, 5 mins drive away from the Brandenburg Gate. Great hotel, about 700 meters away from Potzdamer platz, above U-Bahn train station (literally - Mendelssohn Bartholdy Park station). The staff is kind and helpfull, the rooms were clean and comfort.

Nice hotel. Mordern scandanavian construction. See thru glass doors into bathroom. Comfortable beds. Free Internet svc requires fresh input of room no. & PW each time your computer goe Idle for a short tim. No restaurant. Expensive breakfast. U-bahn about 2 blocks.

Excellent hotel within 5 min walk of Potsdammer platz. Spacious rooms and good service.

Open in the autumn 2010, the hotel really looks and feels fresh, nice Nordic touch. Easy to access by public transport or car and the streets at the hotel are quiet. All was fine, recommended.

We chose this hotel because of its close proximity to Potsdamer Platz and the sights of central Berlin. The location is excellent, with easy access to the many good restaurants and shops of the Potsdamer Platz Arkaden. Our room was clean, modern, and spacious. Hotel info, messages, and room climate control were handled through a menu on the TV screen, […] but the climate control in our room didn't work well. Hotel staff was helpful but couldn't fix the AC problem. The hotel parking garage wasadvertised at 23 Euros/day but was full when we arrived, so we were directed to the nearby Potsdamer Platz parking garage for 20 Euros/day. A full buffet breakfast was available in the hotel for 20 Euros, but there are several less expensive options available in the Arkaden. There was no charge for wireless internet. Lisez la suite

This was the best hotel I stayed at on a multi-city tour through Europe. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the hotel was very clean, the location was great (close to the U-Bahn, S-Bahn and nearby restaurants at Potsdamer Platz), and the staff were friendly and helpful. Good: Very classy decor and very comfy beds. Next door to U-Bahn. Very central. LIDL behind hotel for cheap food! Bad: Room not ready on arrival at 3pm, cafes not next door so no vibe, given room furthest from lifts with view over old flats, no coffee or tea in room.

Hotel was conviniently located to restaurants and bars, and just a short walk from the Brandenburg gate. The room was very clean, and the staff were very friendly. The S-bahn station underneath the hotel was very convinient for getting about Berlin, and from inside the hotel you wouldn't know it was there. A very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I just returned from a stay at this hotel where I spent one night with my husband and our son and his family (wife and 2 year old). We booked it online and were a little afraid of the report that there was the possibility of noise from the trains, but we were on the top floor (8th) and did not hear a thing! The staff were very nice when we drove up […] at 1:30 in the morning. Only problem was that their parking lot was full so we had to park in the public lot, under the nearby shopping mall. It turned out to be a great location to park and only cost 9 euro. The sign said 20 euro but we drove out at 8:30 pm the next night, so maybe it was cheaper because we didn't stay the 24 hours? The location of the hotel couldn't have been better. There was no one to ask regarding where things were, so we just started walking towards the Brandenburg Gate and found it in about 20 minutes. Then we walked down the East side of the gate to find Checkpoint Charlie and after another 30 minutes, found it as well. By this time we had purchased a book on the Berlin Wall so had better directions on where to find landmarks. From Checkpoint Charlie we headed to the Topography of Terror and found it within 15 minutes. (Remember, we had a 2 year old with us to entertain along the way). After leaving Checkpoint Charlie, we used our son's i-pad gps system to find our hotel and the nearby parking garage to get our car. Imagine our surprise to learn that we were approximately 200 yards from the garage! We had walked a full circle. Needless to say, we were expecting to drive to the zoo, but chose to hop on the train at the hotel instead. It cost us 9 euro for the 4 us us to go one-way to the zoo. Upon our return, we jumped in the car and drove to Frankfurt at 9 pm. Great fun, great stay. (The only negative about the hotel is that it appears they hung the bathroom door backwards; one cannot see out of the bathroom because the door is mirrored, however, everyone can see in to the bathroom with the door c Lisez la suite

The rooms are spacy and very comfy. The Mendelssonhn-Bartholdy Park metro station is right beside the hotel, still the windows have very good isolation. No minibar just a small fridge. An ironing table and an iron in every room. Very ironic. Check-in starts at 3 pm. Check-out till 12 am. Overall - very good price for a great hotel.

Modern and clean hotel. Friendly staff who speak English fluently. Helpful when any minor issues. Very conveniently located. U-Bahn (underground) approx 100 meters away. Lots of restaurants nearby, wlaking distance to Brandenburg Gate and easy links to other Berlin attractions.

Hotel was very clean. And spacious. And very warm on such a freezing day. IT is like 30 seconds walk to the station. So on a freezing Berlin visit, you need not walk so far to get to the train station. Staff were very informative too. Breakfast was kinda expensive for Euro20. And close to the shopping mall, Arcadia. just cross the street.

The hotel is located near Potsdamerplatz and an U-Bahn station. It's new, clean and trendy.

SUPER CHAIN HOTEL and is about six months old with modern finishes & very clean, comfy bedrooms and bathrooms. It was a good sized bedroom as we had a roll away bed in it. Also Gym facilities provided for guest use too. On the whole we were extremely happy with the facilities and service. We did not have Breakfast at the hotel but seemed pricy and was […] not included in room rate. Tea, Coffee & drinking water need to be purchased from lobby when needed which was dissapointing. Very well located right next to Mendolsohn Bartholdy Park Station and also adjacent the Arkaden Shopping mall with food court & many other restaurants, Potsdamer Platz, Sony Centre, Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie, New National Gallerie is all within walking distance which we visited. However getting to and from Schonefeld Airport took slightly over an hour required Shuttle bus and 3 subway trains, but with hardly any waiting time and well sign posted, it was not an issue for us. Great Hotel and situated close to Potsdamerplatz. which was great for the Berlinale.Rooms are comfortable and clean.Only minus is no coffee maker in the room.

The Scandic Hotel is a lovely and quiet hotel. Everything is very clean and natural. Small details, such as the wood accent tables, forest-like elevators, and antler etchings in the bathroom enhance the feeling of a Scandinavian experience. My only complaint would be that the bathroom door in our room was transparent....um....not so great when sharing […] the room with a business associate. Lisez la suite

We were excited to arrive at the Scandic hotel, finally after a much needed getaway. Unfortunately, the early hours of the morning brought bad news. My apartment in NY was robbed and the police needed to speak with we while they were going through the apartment. My phone need not call to the US so I called the front desk to ask how much the rate was […] to call US. They did not know but I had to call. The cost of the call to the police in NY 236 Euros I was shocked, a victim of a robbery and now this. We explained the situation to them and pleaded to let us pay the normal rate that one would the phone company charges. Instead, they were more interested in making their profit off the phone call and a sad situation. Lisez la suite

A nice place,in a very good location.The staff were not overly friendly and stuck a bit rigidly to the rules but were helpful when called upon.The room was clean and spacious,I would definitely reccommened this hotel and would return again.

Wonderful hotel in a great location. Subway is very close by to get anywhere in the city. The hotel is beautifully designed and very clean and maintained. The only thing I didn't like was the shower pressure, which had ups and downs, cold and hot, that was a bit surprising. The rest was great, recommended.

This is a good location for a visit to Berlin. The U and S-Bahn are readily available for going to other places. The bathroom will give you a start as it has see-thru doors. If you want more privacy, just keep the lights lower in the bathroom and the door becomes a mirror. The breakfast was very good but expensive, but there are many nearby option […] s. Lisez la suite

Rigtig dejligt hotel, høj standard, tæt på alt, U-bahn ligger lige ved hotellet. Det overraskede os at der var morgenmad med i prisen, som det er tilfældet på andre scandic hoteller (dk). Parkering på hotellet er dyrt.

Hadde et kjempe bra opphold på Scandic Potsdamer Platz. Sentralt belligende midt i smørøyet, kort veg til det meste inkl U.bahn. Supert på alle måter. Kommer til å dra dit igjen. Det eneste vi ikke kan si noe om er frokosten, da vi ikke prøvde den.
