Hôtel extrêmement bien situé, proche des transports et de toutes commodités. Il est très calme pour New-York L'hôtel est propre, bien tenu, avec un personnel très agréable. Un choix idéal pour découvrir New-York.

Hotel confortable mais je n'ai pas pu dormir à cause du bruit de l'air conditonné qui faisait beaucoup de bruit chaque fois il se mettait en marche pendant toute la nuit. Sinon bon service et hotel très agréable. Sa position entre Fulton Street et Brooklyn bridge, très bien.

hôtel chic dans un quartier qui l'est hélas beaucoup moins, mais bien desservi par plusieurs lignes de métro :en 10mn on est au cœur de Manhattan .Chambre standard confortable .Après une journée de visites , on apprécie particulièrement le lit extra-large et extra moelleux ainsi que la piscine intérieure de l'hôtel .Bon rapport qualité/prix

Même si nous nous sommes baladés à pied un peu dans les environs de l'hôtel où nous avons d'ailleurs fait de sacrées affaires (vêtements, chaussures) et découvert une "esthéticienne" qui maniait la bobine de fil de façon extraordinaire pour l'épilation des sourcils et du visage, nous avons regretté de ne pas avoir choisi un hôtel dans Mannhattan. Un […] dimanche vers 17 heures, quand nous avons voulu repartir à Brooklyn depuis le Rockefeller Center, pas un taxi n'a voulu nous prendre (une longue course ne les avantage pas). En désespoir de cause, nous avons décidé de prendre le métro afin de nous éloigner de Mannhattan. Nous sommes sortis à une des premières stations de métro sur Brooklyn et avons trouvé un taxi drivé par un haïtien (la plupart des chauffeurs de taxi sont haïtiens)? seulement celui-là devait être nouveau, nous avons repris 2 fois le pont de brooklyn, nous avons cru devenir fous. quand il nous a enfin déposés à l'hôtel, il a voulu nous faire payer 40 dollars tous ses allers-retours, ce que nous avons refusé. Le Sheraton Brooklyn est bien moins cher qu'un hôtel à Manhattan, et sa localisation idéale à Brooklyn Heights le place à moins de 30 mn de Battery Park, Time Square etc. Il est desservi par plusieurs lignes de subway toutes à moins de 5 mn. Le bon plan !

Dans Brooklyn à la croisée de pratiquement ttes les lignes de métro pour Manhattan (30mn de Time Square) Hotel neuf, accès piscine et pdej + en cas l'apm (sauf le week-end) compris pour les chambres niveau "Club" . Hôtel situé à proximité d'un grand nombre de lignes de métro. Accès très facile sur Manhattan. Il a juste à côté de l'hôtel une sorte de foyer ou il vaut mieux passer sur l'autre trottoir pour éviter de se faire accoster. beautiful hotel. great location. very friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is new and nicely decorated. Had an issue with the TV and the cable system that the 2 people we initially talked with from the front desk answered incorrectly. When checking out, we were told we should have had all stations(did not get local channels) and there must have been something wrong with TV. A bit frustrating. The surrounding neighborhood […] is a bit sketchy and i wouldn't feel comfortable out alone in the area late at night. Also, not much opened close to hotel food wise. Taxi/town car system is a bit iffy as well since it is not a well traveled street and not well know by the drivers. Lisez la suite

Room was clean, but small. Not unusual for New York where it seems all rooms are small. Beds were VERY comfortable, lots of pillows and nice linens. Neighborhood is a bit sketchy. Would not have felt too safe walking alone as a woman at night, fortunately there were a group of us so it worked out OK.

I used to live in Boerum Hill in Brooklyn and moved away last year. I was back for a weekend visiting and wanted to get a hotel rather than try to crash with friends. I knew this area very well and knew that it is significantly safer and nicer than it looks to people not too familiar with the city. The price was right so my girlfriend and I booked the […] weekend here. Overall it was a great experience. The only negatives were that the ice maker on our floor was out (but walking down two floors was no problem at all) and that the towels were pretty budget and not terribly comfortable or effective. Really enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton, very convenient (close to Jay St Metrotech and other subway stops). Immediate area isn't the best but by no means unsafe and actually quite convenient as you have a few shops (inc a pharmacy and macys) on your doorstop. Head to nearby smith street for some lovely bars, restaurants, tequilareias(!) and independent […] shops. Great if you're visiting NY and looking to explore beyond Manhattan. The service, quality and comfort was beyond what I expected. Everything was excellent!!! Can't wait to go back!

This is a lovely hotel. Rooms are clean and bright. We even had a peek at the river. Beds and pillows were wonderful. Location great. Staff accommodating. Didn't let us know about the Club Room tho. Would have accessed it if we had known..... Price was good, too. Recommend!

I only stayed one night, but it was a good one. The only thing that disappointed me, which is no fault of the hotel, was everything in the area shut down pretty early for a New York Neighborhood. When the stress of the day was not allowing me to fall asleep, I thought I would take a little stroll and grab a glass of wine or cocktail. To my dismay, I […] didn't find a bar that could allow me such an experience. During business hours, though, there are plenty of places for shopping in the neighborhood. The staff was courteous but not eager to help. Paid for valet service but waited 25 minutes for my car (the lot is a 5 minute walk from the hotel - would have been quicker to self-park). We went to NY to see a play at BAM, and the Sheraton was perfectly located nearby. We were able to walk to the hotel after the show. It is also close to several subway lines.

It was 1 of the best hotels I've had the pleasure of staying in ... It was very accommodating .friendly staff and spacious rooms.

Fairly close to several subway stops and very clean room. Not many services close to hotel. Neighborhood a bit deserted early in the morning. Recommend if you just need a place to sleep. Had an odd experience where the maid didn't make the bed because we'd left a backpack on the bed...did receive breakfast coupon in exchange.

Hotel is well-kept and the rooms are slightly larger than the average NYC hotel. For those who love the feel and energy of Brooklyn but have to have easy access to Wall Street and the rest of Manhattan, it's a great option. I'll be back in NY on business in the next few weeks, and this is where I'll be staying! It's close to Fulton Street Mall stores […] and restaurants and also close to a number of different lines for the subway. It was a little difficult for our taxi driver to find using his gps, so beware of that. It also has a great lap pool and gym. I also hear the lounge was great, but didn't experience it for myself. Had a great experience at the Sheraton hotel. Though the room was smaller, compared to other Sheraton hotels, it was still comfortable overall. Had a great time using the pool and fitness room. Only downside is that there is a fee to use the wifi in your room. However, the lobby has free wifi and computers that are accessible to guests, so that wasn't […] so bad. I was excited to stay at my favorite hotel until I realized that they are still holding a $100.00 of my money for so called incidentals I have checked out already why does it take so long

This is a very comfortable hotel in Brooklyn. The bed was very comfy, and the hotel is on a quiet street just off a main shopping road - which is good as when your in your room you can't hear the noise and feel away from the hustle and bustle. The subway station is about a 1 minute walk from the hotel and gets you into Manhattan quickly (10-20 mins) […] or JFK airport (30-40 mins). You can also walk to the other parts of Brookly or train it there. We walked to the Brooklyn bridge in about 25 minutes. The only downsides were: - not the nicest neighbourhood. I felt safe walking around late at night but wouldn't hang out there as not many nice restaurants/cafes/shops. - pool is not open all day - only mornings and evenings. All in all it was a pleasant stay, comfy room and the hotel staff were polite and helpful! Lisez la suite

A lovely hotel experience -- gigantic, cushy bed, effective heating/air conditioning, great shower. Best of all, though, was the view of Lady Liberty from our room on the 24th floor. Good hotel for people who find where to stay in Brooklyn , clean , and safe. Not easy find a cab if you go Manhattan late night or if you want to return to the hotel.

New hotel in an improving neighborhood. Lobby is a little crowded with the business center and a small registration area right as you walk into the lobby. A little difficult to find the hotel on a one way street.

Brooklyn calls with so many good restaurants and interesting neighborhood walks. We were pleased to find a hotel in the heart of Brooklyn,but a bit disappointed to find out we were in the midst of an out door shopping mall kind of neighborhood. Though there are many subway stations nearby to whisk you to a destination, it would have been nice to be […] able to just walk out the door and explore. The desk staff of this hotel are all helpful, cheerful and professional. Unfortunately, the bar was understaffed and we waited a long time without being served. If this hotel was in a livelier neighborhood we would have checked out the local eateries. However, given that we were stuck inside during a snowstorm and that there's not too much around the hotel we were saddled with poor service and a poor selection of refreshments. Nice hotel with lovely rooms and comfortable furnishings. I would not recommend the neighbourhood after dark to lone females as it is quite intimidating. Be warned about the black taxis that sit outside the hotel, they don't have meters and the fares are three times more than yellow cabs. The black cabs are operated by local gypsie gangs. I am very familiar with this part of Brooklyn, and this is a very nice hotel in an OK location. I only say that because I wouldn't want to be in that area alone on LATE nights. But I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was new and clean - it just seemed disorganized. First the room keys did not work - twice. Then the TV in the room worked in the afternoon - but not that evening or the next morning. When we called to inquire, they mentioned something vague about the TV company working on it - apparently unsuccessfully while we were there - yet the TV in the […] Lobby worked. The vending machine on our floor was either turned off or not functioning, so grabbing a cold drink was difficult. I also never say a bartender in the small Lobby Bar - nor did they have that coffee station up and running in the morning (you could buy coffee to go in the restaurant though). All together - it was disappointing in a lot of little ways - but very good on the most important things - room comfort and cleanliness and very friendly Reception staff. Lisez la suite

Room was clean, if a bit on the small side, Staff on the whole were friendly, especially the lady on reception when we arrived the Sunday before Labor Day. She was extremely harrassed, trying to run the reception on her own but still made us feel very welcome. Hotel is in a street that is very run down, however there are signs that this area is being […] regenerated. Subway stations are at the end of the street for easy access to central NY. However on the roof of the hotel is a roof terrace that comes alive from 10pm to 3am! This can be very noisy if you are on floor 20 and above!! Didn't eat in the hotel but Juniors restaurant is close by (excellent cheesecake!) and also well worth a visit is the Diner on the corner of Smith St opposite the stacking car park - they do great breakfasts! Very convenient to Manhattan and nearby restaurants.... Buses and trains were also nearby. Hotel was clean. My club room was fantastic. The complimentrary breakfast was a plus..

Reception night staff could take some pointers from day staff- however overall satisfactory. Concierge: very pleasant and helpful. Very impressed with service staff in club lounge-especially the lady who was new on the job but handled the crowds plus the fact that they ran out of food at breakfast; like a professional. The Grubstake restaurant staff […] is awful-they appear to be busy all the time but don't get anything done.
