très bien situé,personnel très sympatique et compétant.les chambres donnant sur la rue sont néanmoins bruyantes!!je le recommande!!!

L’hôtel est bien placé et très proche du centre ville de Sydney. La chambre est correcte pour le prix mais les toilettes et la salle de bain sont communes. Pour 2 jours c'est suffisant, peut être gênant à la longue. Les prix étant très hauts à Sydney cet hôtel est une alternative intéressante.

Hotel tres bien placé par rapport au centre ville et pas trop bruyant, les récptionniste peuvent parler en français.

Tres bon hotel ,proche des commerces centre ville et lieu tousistique,pres du grand parck hyde park lieu de detente et repos a cote du centre ville.Chambre tres correcte, petit dejeuner peu gourmet.Dans l ensemble a conseiller.

Très bien situé proche du centre, des bus, du parc Hyde park, Cet hotel souffre quand même un peu du bruit. Nous avons demandé à changer pour une chambre donnant sur la cour pour éviter le bruit. Excellent, rien à dire...une parfaite adresse pour un séjour à Sydney. Très bon rapport qualité-prix et très bien situé.

The heating was not working when we arrived. The hotel being fully booked, it was not possible to change room, and the maintenance service did not run so late in the night. So we were a little cold the first night, but the problem was quickly resolved the next day. Other than that, no thrills really with this hotel, but I understand that given its price, […] it was adequate. The breakfast could do with some improvement, even though it was included in the price (the croissants do not deserve to be called that). Ah, its location was great! Hôtel très bien placé au coeur de Sydney. Les chambres sont propres mais un peu petite. Le personnel est accueillant et agréable.

Sympathique hôtel avec un bon personnel toujours souriant et disponible. Il dispose d'une situation parfaite à 2 minutes de l'arrêt de métro. Le déjeuner offert est simple mais très bon. Proche du centre ville. Dans un quartier vivant et agréable, nombreuses possibilités de manger à proximité. Petit déjeuner bon et à volonté, possibilité de surcout pour un petit déjeuner avec plat chaud Salle de bains commune propre.

hotel très bien situé tout près de Hide Park et de tous les endroits touristiques de Sydney. Je le recommande car on peut rentrer à pied le soir en passant par le parc et s'amuser avec les opposums. Etablissement moderne très bien entretenu. Le personnel parle français. Situé dans la city à proximité des différents sites touristiques.

Bonne surprise pour un backpacker. Bien tenu et personnel disponible et sympa.

I put the overall rating as a 4 simply because the price seems a bit high for the size of room being a "shared bathroom" situation. I'm not from Australia, much less Sydney, so maybe this is the norm. Also there were some "advertizing" issues. 1) There was advertizing that a round-trip shuttle was provided by the hotel for a fee. NO. The same shuttle […] is available to everyone from the airport for only a $2 difference. So it's not a hotel shuttle which would save time, but an airport shuttle service which travels a circuit of stops and hotels. 2) Communication as to what's included for breakfast was not quite what I expected, but it was still and acceptable breakfast. Location was excellent, the first room was very moldy but getting another room was easy, telling the staff about the mold you could tell they knew about and still they're giving the room to clients... Even though breakfast was included, they should have mentioned that they only offer white bread, croissants and some cereal, any brekkie additions like […] fruits, eggs and such cost you money. We also got unnecessary noise complaints from the reception even though we weren't any louder than any other customers. The reception should have made sure if we were loud before giving a complaint. I understand that this was a hostel, but the room had a musty smell and its did not feel clean. The staff were curt and unfriendly. It was good for the location. Nothing else.

Great location and for the amount we paid, i dont think we could have found a better deal! Would definately go back.

The location is superb. Right across from Hyde Park and a few blocks from major touristy attractions. I had a room for two nights with four single beds to share with other female travelers. The bathroom and shower were 3-4 steps away from the bedroom door. The clientele was mainly European and Asian tourists. Simple room with great location. Overall good value if all you need is a decent room to explore the city.

We loved staying in this hotel, it has excellent location to all the sights, with the bus stop just outside. The breakfast was lovely. I would definitely stay here again.

Very clean. Room very small tho only just enough room to walk around the bed. Cleaness makes up for it tho. Not a far walk to shops. And about a 15 minute walk to darling harbour

Great value for the price, small, clean and comfortable room, and walking distance to all the great sites of Sydney. I'm defenatly staying there again next time I'm in town.

Due to my 22-year old son, who stayed at the hotel, this was a very clean and good Hotel with good, understanding and kind staff.....

excellent location, close to train line for those who have trouble walking. Unfortunately, they advertise King beds but they are actually 2 singles pushed together. Not very comfortable for those who like to sleep in the middle of the bed!

I was a little nervous about using this hotel b/c I did everything online and b/c I was a female traveling solo - I didn't know what to expect. Upon arrival, my worries were quickly put to rest! The hotel is ideally located to everything I wanted to see, the rooms were clean and the whole facility is very well maintained. The desk staff were awesome […] - very friendly and helpful and had answers to all of my questions. I had a room with a (quite comfy) double bed and used the shared facilities. I wasn't impressed with the shared bathroom (think: girls locker room), but it seemed pretty clean, just out-dated. I don't think there were many other girls using the bathroom b/c I had it to myself quite a lot which was nice. The internet was useful (although maybe a bit pricey - but it was convenient) and the hotel to airport service was fabulous and saved me money and the stress of using a cab or the subway. The breakfast was basic (with an upgrade available for a small fee) but filling. I plan on absolutely returning to this hotel in the future (although maybe I would get an en suite room so I didn't have to use the shared bathroom). It was safe, clean, fabulously located and overall I was very happy with my stay! A great spot when traveling on a budget .. . . . Lisez la suite

Just returned from a great stay at this hotel. We opted for a double room with shared bathroom and found it to be a great value option in an excellent location in Sydney. From here you can catch a train to all the major sights, take a reasonable walk to the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, and there are loads of restaurants and parks nearby for entertainment. […] The hotel itself is very clean and the rooms are a good size and comfortable (great that you can open the windows and not have to rely on air con, for a change!). A continental breakfast is included, and it can be topped up to a cooked brekkie for $5 - you won't get anything that cheap in the rest of Sydney!! Only downside - no swaying the receptionist to allow a slightly earlier check-in... they are militant about it being 2pm! Lisez la suite

Close to all sights! Very nice hotel.

Excellent location and okay breakfast included. The shared bathrooms were however like an airport toilett so you have to be able to stand the sound of sonebody doin' nr 2 while you are brushing your teeth. is more a hotel than a hostel.... with breakfast... lobby is not very kicking... but hotel is calm , nice and clean

Was very central location. Walking distance to many sights. Unfortunately air conditioning was not working properly and we had very mild nights, so it made sleeping a bit uncomfortable.

As a budget hotel, this is OK. However, I wasn't expecting shared bathrooms to be hostel-like.

Sydney is clearly an expensive city these days. You don't get a whole lot for the money at the Y. The hotel is mostly geared to budget travel and student groups. Location is good, close to train station and everything is walkable. Rooms are small, inexpensively furnished and bathrooms are basic.
