House On Main Street - Williamstown

The House on Main Street exceeded expectations. Tim was delightful and accommodating in every respect. For example, we had to leave before the stated breakfast hour, and without our asking, he offered to serve breakfast to us an hour early so we wouldn't have to miss it. The strawberry pancakes were delicious, and he happily made some without strawberries […] when he learned my daughter was allergic. A truly delightful stay and close to everything! Lisez la suite

The owner was busy redecorating when we arrived and didn't have much time to spend telling us about the place or the area (fair enough I guess). The room was spacious and comfortable but the floor didn't seem to have been swept recently. We skipped breakfast to get to our next destination early, so can't comment on that. Living area looked well-furnished […] and comfortable. Williamstown didn't have much of interest to us (college town, close to North Adams) so don't expect too much night life. A place to overnight, rather than spend a week IMHO. Lisez la suite

House on Main Stret features a terrific host, clean rooms, good "different" breakfast (not just eggs and bacon), good location. It does not have much in the way of amenities (TV, internet) but in pleasant weather there is a large screened porch and an ooutside sitting area. Nice. Relaxed.

We hada great time in Williamstown. Our host was very interesting and spent some time with us every morning. The inn was well kept and had a great location to drive around the Bershires.

Small B&B with nice attention paid to needs of guests. They use organic cleaning products and offer a wonderful healthy breakfast with attention paid to allergies, etc. It being Williamstown, there is little concern for locking up, which may be disconcerting for those from more urban environments. Wondeful character home in charming little town. Rooms clean and tidy and owner "lively fellow"! No private bath but there are actually 2 washrooms on second floor where bedrooms are located. One powder room and one full bath. Breakfast was plentiful and AWESOME! Driving distance to Lenox for concerts at Tanglewood... and accomodations much more afforadable! […] Definitely worth it. Donna and Timothy , our hosts were quick to make us feel right at home. We were able to check in early which made the trip to Tanglewood far less stressful. Breakfasts were generous and very tasy. Timothy does the cooking and he willingly shared his recipe for almond pancakes-YUM. The inn's location make it convenient for a Tanglewood concert, a hike […] to Mt Greylock, or an artistic sojourn at The Clark. Would stay here again without a moment's hesitation. Lisez la suite

A charming house but the room was tiny with jut a bed and chest of drawers. Shared bathroom and toilet. Very expensive for what one got compared to other places we have stayed in.

After a long hike we needed a comfortable place to relax and rest the night. This place met all our needs, quiet, friendly and comfortable. Walking distance of every restaurant with knowledgeable and helpful staff.
