"Travelodge College Station, 2300 Texas Ave., Bryan"
When we checked into the motel, the desk clerk was snuffing and wiping his nose with his hand, then used that hand to give me my key and paperwork. This should have prepared us for a very disappointing stay. The temperature in College Station on March 31 was 87 degrees, and we had no air-conditioning in our room; the fan was all that worked. Very difficult […] sleeping when it is that hot. Other deficiencies in the room were: a large gash in the flooring in the bathroom area that needed to be replaced; a hole in the ceiling over the shower with brown liquid running down the shower tile from this hole; no hangars for clothing and only one closet had a clothes bar; no hair dryer in the room; no coffee maker in the room; the toilet didn't refill with enough water to properly flush after use; broken tile near commode on bottom trim, bacteria collector--no draperies on the window, only blinds; from the single chair in the room, an article of clothing from a previous guest could be seen under the dresser, the bedspread was old and faded and needed to be replaced; bathroom door jam filthy and rusty at bottom; bathroom door needs to be painted to cover discoloration where a mirror had been removed (mirror mount clamps remained); carpet soiled throughout; room smells musty; the advertised complimentary breakfast was a very limited presentation. "Worst hotel in bcs area"
I booked two rooms, one room's heater and toilet flusher was not working. The clerk transferred us to a different room with working heater... But no toilet door. Yes, the toilet door was missing. The next day the manager apologized and wanted to transfer us to another different room. It seems that they just have a lot of non-working rooms, and will […] try to shuffle you around to see which one you will settle with. Lisez la suite

"Travelodge College Station or Bates Motel"
This was hands down the worst hotel I have ever stayed in or will ever because I can't imagine there being a worst one! The staff from check in to check out lacked any warmth or hospitality. Not that I was expecting much for the price but at least some courtesy would have been nice. The room did not appear all that bad until you looked up. The ceiling […] was leaking on the bed and in the bathroom. When called to complain pretty much said tough luck and hung up. I would rather sleep in tent than ever go back to that dump. "Travelodge of College Station"
The only thing I was paying for was to sleep, and that's what I got. They were out of towels so no one got to shower. I believe the person checking us in was a new hire, so we had to wait for the manager who was very knowledgeable and very nice. This hotel is close to the university and there are plenty of fast food places nearby. Something I didn't […] know is that if you check in after midnight, they charge you another night. I think this is a ridiculous rule and I don't know how many hotels practice it, but Travelodge does. Lisez la suite
"Travelodge Bryan Texas"
It was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in in my life. Very disappointing.
"Seriously?"
When I checked in I had to sign something that stated I would have to pay $200 if I smoked in the room. Not a problems since my wife and I don't smoke. But when I walked into the room it smelled like a used ashtray. I don't know what they do with the $200 but they did not make the room smell better. We stayed over the weekend and no towels were delivered […] to the room, I had to get them myself. I was concerned about walking on the carpet in my socks because it looked like it was purchased used from a movie theater. I can not recommend this hotel, even if the price is $100 cheaper than others in the area. It is not worth it. All the hotels were booked the weekend I stayed here and I could not move to another hotel. Lisez la suite
"It literally stinks"
The staff had used some sort of vanilla/cinnamon smelling spray in the room, perhaps to mask some other odor. It was terribly strong. The blinds on the front window did not cover the opening, so light streamed in. Fixtures were broken. I am glad the stay was only to sleep then leave. It was not at all a good stay.
"Horrible!"
No heat, no blankets, no soap, ice machine didn't work, no soda in soda machine! Front desk could not help with anything. No sound insulation, if the peson next door sneezed you heard it! Area of town was rough.
"Travel Lodge - College Station Texas - Worst Hotel"
The WORST HOTEL EVER. No one should ever stay at this hotel even for the "value" of the price. The hotels entry lights were all out and it looked as if we were entering a terrible and shoddy motel. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The locks on the front door was damaged, there was no hair dryer in the room, the room was dirty, and the […] breakfast was terrible, the door to the bathroom did not latch, the TV remote did not work, and the bathroom in the offices was as dirty as the bathroom in the room. The staff was as friendly as you would expect from a 1/2 star hotel, and they tried to apologize for the experience by saying that they would stay there themselves. Another hotel guest actually had to get a new pillow due to the fact that there was blood or a red stain on the pillow that was left in his room, he even showed us the pillow case. Again, this hotel should be removed from hotels.com. Lisez la suite

"Stay Away!!! Not as Advertised- Poor Service- Bugs"
The front desk at check in was slow and there was a line which took about 25 minutes to get to the counter. The sheets on the bed were dirty and there was no working ice machine on the facility. The ice machine that was there had not been plugged in for some time (maybe weeks). The hotel also advertised having cable television which if they did, was […] the absolute worst system I have ever experienced having only a few working clear channels. The room was also advertised to have a microwave, a refrigerator, and a hair dryer and had none of these. They apologized about the sheets and gave us a new set which we had to go to the front desk to get as there was no staff to deliver the sheets to the room. The continental breakfast was also lacking. There was little selection and if anything ran out, there was no one there to restock. Had to go to the front desk to get them to put out more food. Upon return home, we discovered bed bugs in our own blankets that we used at the hotel. We called the hotel they flatly denied that the situation could have been as we described. We will never stay at a Travel Lodge again. If you ever have an experience like this call Hotels.com immediately from the hotel (800-246-8357) . Additionally, I would say that the neighborhood that this hotel is in is not one that I felt safe in. The hotel seemed to be in the midst of a renovation though there was no apparent activity. Another thing worth mentioning is that we normally do not stay in any hotel less than 2 stars (prefer at least 3). In this case we were booking late for this weekend and this was about all that was left. Next time we will not make the trip if this is all that is available. Lisez la suite
"Travel Lodge in College Station Texas"
The was no maid service and overall appearance of hotel looked ghetto. This particular Travel Lodge Hotel looked 1970's dorm rooms. Disappointed...
"be prepared to bring your own pillows and towels"
The pillows did not have pillowcases and were all stained with yellow and brown stains. There were only 2 towels and they did not give us more. There was no blanket and the bedspread was like sandpaper on the bottom. Housekeeping only came and serviced the bathroom with additional toilet paper during our stay. This is an old hotel. If you can not find […] another place to stay, just make sure to bring bed linen, pillows and towels. The bathroom was clean, or we would have left. Lisez la suite
"Rip-Off"
Staff was friendly, but hotel was gross. Found dead bugs in bathroom and blood stained sheets...creepy. Room was falling apart! Heard noises all night from outside and the price on hotels.com was more than if we would have booked through actual hotel. What a ripoff!
"TravelLoge, Bryan TX"
This hotel is very old and in need of some major repair and upgrades. It is pretty close to A&M, and clean enough I guess. I would only stay here if I could not get in anywhere else, which is what happened.
"Travelodge- close to Aggieland, but needs work"
Ice machine was out of order, no maid service provided, only one set of towels. When we requested more towels, we had to go to the front to get them. Kinda a scary place, too. Beds were lousy. Positive: It was clean.
"Hotel in College Station"
We needed a place to stay in the College Station-Bryan area during a football weekend. This was our only option and for as much as we paid per night it was very disappointing.

"air filter was black, a/c not working"
Our air conditioner filter was black and the air conditioner was not working. They told us they would replace the filter and fix the ac while we were gone during the day. If not possible, they would move us. When we came back, there was no note of this incident, nothing was changed and the only room they had we could move to had only one bed. There […] were 4 of us. The room also had no towels and the bathroom door wouldn't shut because the toilet was in the way. Lisez la suite
"Below Average"
The hotel looked pretty run down however the room was clean. The bed sheets were very uncomfortable and the bathroom was very small and dirty. Also the air conditioner in the room did not work. The people there were very friendly though.
"Good bang for buck"
This is not a fancy hotel, and I did not pay a fancy price. For a game-day weekend in College Station, this was a good deal. I was worried when I drove up as the place looked pretty run down, but I stopped worrying after I got inside. The hotel staff was friendly, helpful, and polite. This hotel was under new management so there were a few bugs being […] worked out - no ice machines yet, for instance - but they promised everyone would be in place next time I stayed. The room smelled clean and the bed was pretty good. The carpet was old and not great looking, but the fact that it smelled clean and my feet didn't turn black made me not worry. The bathroom was good. For what I paid, I was satisfied. Lisez la suite

Was not a great experiance at all ac problem all thu my stay.
I wished the pool had been operating.
"Rooms are Ok but will stay elsewhere next time"
On the positive side the room inside was clean, quiet and comfortable. The desk clerks were nice. On the negative side the hotel exterior looked bad from the street and the pool was out of service. We went to the complimentary breakfast about 8 am and they were out of plates, napkins and bowls which made it difficult to eat. There was a coffee maker […] in our room but no creamer or sugar. The towels in the room were very thin and scratchy. No hair dryer in rooms. No newspapers to read at breakfast. With so many hotels to choose from in the area we will definitely find somewhere else to go next time we visit College Station. Lisez la suite
