Chambres non insonorisées avec les chambres voisines et très bruyant car ciculation extérieure très dense. impossible d'utiliser la douche.

Il faut préciser que l'hôtel est entre la 3ème et 4ème avenue (In between 3th and 4th avenue) à côté de la station de train NRQ 36TH. En effet même le GPS ne trouve pas l'adresse tel qu'il est indiqué dans la réservation. C'était le gros point négatif car on a cherché pendant près d'une heure... Situé à 25mns de manhattan en métro ligne directe ( station à 2 rues) , ce petit hotel est très agréable à vivre: personnel accueillant, charmant, hotel propre, chambres surface très correcte, grand lit confortable . nosu étions 3 avec 2 grands lits, petit frigo, suffisant, clim réglable et efficace, petit déjeuner copieux -hum les gauffres !et la pettie […] omelette ! - on repérait d'ailleurs les nouveaux arrivants au volume de leur assiette . Au 2è jour on se calme un peu. Hotel parfait pour partir vadrouiller toute la journée . environnement étonnant: près de la voie expresse ( chambre bien insonorisée) , vieil immeuble tout décrépi en face mais joli dans le genre - gens du quartier (hispaniques plutot calmes comme tout new yorkais d'ailleurs. emplacement idéal pour aller à manhattan mais aussi à williamaburg, le Queens et le Bronx ( là vous n'etes pas génés par les touristes!) . j'y retournerai volontiers. Hotel staff was courteous and professional. Well worth the price and close to subway. Breakfast is included in the price of the room. I would stay there again!

Room was small, but adequate. Desk folks not particularly helpful or courteous. Breakfast was a zoo because of the small space. Neighborhood was a bit scary with construction across street.

The neighborhood is not pleasant at all, but the hotel is newly renovated and clean, comfortable, the complementary breakfast was great. The staff is very friendly. I recommend it, if you do not mind not looking out the window :-)

room was tight but comfortable, seemed very clean. Limited off street parking but some street parking in front. Good value.

The hotel was is conveniently located to my training site; the room was clean, breakfast great. Nothing to complain about. neighborhood is ok,,its an urban setting, but safe.

Best of that place was their breakfast although the breakfast room is too small. The actual room is also small but ok. Made coffee the morning after I arrived, pot was still dirty on my check out date. Mind me, they replenished the coffee and condiment bags. Trash stayed in the bin for two days, bed not made up. we were heading to NYC for the weekend but didn't want to pay NYC prices. the hotel is just a few blocks from the subway. no early check-in, but friendly staff. only complaint is VERY thin walls. we were glad we didn't have our daughter with us as it sounded a little like someone was shooting a porn in the room beside us. :x

Lovely staff. Very helpful. Clean and quiet room. I would use this hotel again in a heartbeat.

Just 2 blocks from Subway. Clean and I felt secure although surroundings a bit iffy.

Good service, location and price. Our biggest problem was that smoking is allowed, and the smell sticks for a long time in the rooms.

We stayed in this hotel as it was close to the Cruiseship Pier - we were taking a cruise the following day. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the breakfast was good. We would stay here again and would recommend it to our friends.

A great hotel, clean and with a great breakfast. It is very close to the Subway for quick access into Manhattan at a quarter of the price. A great budget option, would stay here again.

Perfect for what we needed and a great price so close to NYC

Great hotel, close to manhattan. 3 blocks from subway station. Small room but for the price it was ok. It was clean. Vending machines do not work, though.

We chose this place for the good price and convenience to 3 major subways... That being said: What didn't work well: --There was hair from the previous guest all over the sheets in the bed --They called us at 9am the first morning there (we are from LA) to tell us they were going to charge our card for a phonecall we did not make. Only to call back […] a few minutes later to say they were mistaken. --The area is fine during the day as it is bustling with 2 schools but at night is a little too quiet for comfort as it does not seem to be the best area. --It is not in the middle of a good part of Brooklyn. What worked well: --They immediately checked on the condition of the room when we arrived, and changed the sheets right away. --Though the area is not great, there is a 24 hour McDonalds around the corner. The hotel was clean and felt safe. There's not much in the area, but it's only two blocks from a subway station. Also has a McDonald's around the corner. I had a room in the basement with a small window to the bottom of the parking lot - not much for a view, but it didn't matter since I was just looking for a decent, cheaper place to sleep while visiting […] New York City. This met my needs! Only complaint would be the occasional musty smell in my basement room. I only noticed it when first walking into the room after being gone. The complimentary breakfast was great. We needed a room for one night. We found a hair in the bed. The person that checked us in was just not that friendly. The bathroom floor was sticky. The bathroom had the smell of a dirty mop. The guests in other rooms, slammed their door, woke us up a lot. The Continental breakfast was not that bad. Enjoyed the stay....room was clean and comfortable. Two blocks to the subway....minutes away from a great little Brooklyn Diner.....

Receiptionists were very unfriendly and unsupportive! The rest was very good for the price

We were pleasantly pleased by the cleanliness of the hotel, elevator, hallways, breakfast area and our room. Yes, we did check for bed bug - there were none. The room is small but it fit our needs. The young woman at the front desk, although pleasant could not understand our questions both in English and Spanish for directions to a funeral home that […] turned out to be only two blocks away. For a short stay is was just fine Breakfast was more than adequate the set up person was personable. Front desk another issue hard to understand her english.almost got car towed away.

Convenient location, very safe parking, capable staff... great deal for so close to NYC. Would stay there again. Rooms are about what you'd expect for budget rates, but free breakfast, free wifi, safe parking make it worthwhile.

This a good little hotel. It's clean and new. The rooms are on the small side and, of course, there are no amenities. If you just want a place to sleep, this is a perfect spot. It's relatively close to the subway (2 blocks). The hotel staff is surly, but then again, who isn't in New York?

Hotel was convenient as we had business in Brooklyn. Room was ample size for two...very comfortable. One exception to a perfect review....several hairs in the bathroom and two in the bed linens (which were not ours) -- very creepy/gross. We all know linens are not changed between each guest....just didn't want to see loose hairs. Ugh. My two day stay at the Comfort Inn began with an uncomfortable start. We arrived on Friday, June 30 at about 7:55 p.m. The clerk was busy registering a group, or family and I stood in back of them waiting my term. Being a senior, I'm quite current with etiquette and I was patient. However, the clerk beckoned for me, and to my surprise he then asked […] me loudly to stand back, that I would have to wait. Whatever his reasoning, I was appalled because I was not crowding the other guests. I was quite appalled. Also, when he was registering me he told me that I had used another card to get my reservation; I told him that it was impossible, because I didn't have another card. Upon reaching my room and calling down to ask about a soda machine, he corrected me calling it a vending machine. It was quite ridiculous. He should be given sensitivity training; he was a bit rude. However, I feel perhaps he didn't know better. All in all, my stay was a good one, and the overall staff was nice. The continental breakfast was good. Lisez la suite

This is a newer hotel, rooms were clean and comfortable. Very small parking lot, otherwise you're stuck parking on the street. Overall very good impression, would definitely use again.

I moved to this hotel from New Jersey so I could be closer to the sights, and it did not disappoint. The room was clean and quiet. Staff was helpful, and breakfast was good.

Great hotel, but sadly in very depressed part of Brooklyn, I really hope the area picks up as this hotel deserves to survive. Can't recommend it because of the scary location ncoation, but if that doesn't daunt you, it's fantastic value for money, well appointed and has helpful staff

Great breakfast selection the first day, but not the second. They did not put out items when they ran out of them. Only a 2 block walk to the subway. The front desk staff could not answer any of my questions and only had a subway map to give. A bike tour guide who was there answered my questions for me.

While other rooms may be fine, beware if they put you one the cellar level, for reasons not totally clear, it was unreasonably damp (our clothes took 20 minutes of wearing outside to dry out completely) even with the AC running. Couple days of this and you get somewhat disgusted. Otherwise the stay was good, nice breakfast, decent location (neighborhood […] was a bit sketchy at night, but did not feel threatened at all) Also be careful when you ask the front desk for a taxi, they will send a car service that charges $20 for what was a $15 cab ride the night before.
