Idéalement situé à deux pas de l'aéroport. Chambre très agréable et personnel d'accueil sympathique et disponible. Des conseils sur notre itinéraire touristique nous ont été gentiment donnés avant le départ. Très bonne impression.

Situation
A Corsham, l'établissement Lorne House se trouve en zone rurale, tout près de Corsham Court. Les sites Bath Abbey et Roman Baths se trouvent également à proximité.
Caractéristiques de l'établissement
L'accès à Internet haut débit par Wi-Fi est gratuit dans les espaces communs. L'espace de réunion fait 300 pieds carrés. Les services de cet établissement de type victorien incluent une laverie et un jardin. Le parking de l'établissement est gratuit. Il s'agit d'un établissement non-fumeur . Cet établissement a été entièrement rénové en mars 2009.
Chambres
Les chambres offrent une vue sur la ville ou sur le jardin. Les 6 chambres de l'établissement Lorne House comprennent une cafetière/bouilloire à thé et un miroir de maquillage. Excellent clean room, great bathroom, very good breakfast, excellent service, good value. Slight problem may be parking when hotel is full and not a lot to do in village, but bus to Bath just down the road.
"Lorne House - a delightful and modern little B&B"
We booked to stay here as our friends were getting married at Rudloe Hall about 1 mile up the road...and I am thrilled we opted for this gorgeous little B&B instead of Rudloe Hall, which looked tired and in need of TLC when we visited our firends rooms there. The facilities at Lorne House were perfect for the amount of time spent in your room, with […] modern decor and a beautiful wet room as a bathroom. However, if a spacious bedroom is what you desire then the room was slightly on the small side (but as I said for the amount of time you spend in it this should not affect your decision to book into this B&B!) The breakfast in the morning was lovely, all freshly prepared. The only downside to this B&B is that check-in starts from 4.30pm, which is quite a lot later than most hotel/B&B stays I have experienced recently as these generally have been from 2pm. Really nice hotel. Fabulous comfy room (No. 1) situated at the back, hotel was kept nice and warm during the really cold spell (weekend 11/02/12). Breakfast was hearty and plentiful, and everything available. Staff were very nice and helpful. Beautiful location, really friendly staff, really easy to get to and from Bath by bus, we found it's easier to do this than going by car into the town. 15 minute journey. we will come again!!

I would highly recommend Lorne House to anyone who is visiting the area. The room was spacious and of a very high standard with beautiful furnishings, a very comfy bed and a fanstastic en-suite wet room. Fran and Mike have put together a very informative book recommending places to eat and local knowledge etc. The breakfasts were delicious and were […] catered for each individual. For myself and my partner this was a very enjoyable stay. Fran, Mike and not forgetting Jackie, have worked really hard to make this a very high standard bed and breakfast. "Lorne House - perfect weekend break"
Everything about Lorne house was perfect for our weekend break in Bath. Huge double bed, luxurious wet room, full english breakfast served with a smile and only 15mins from Bath centre.
"A very comfortable inn"
We had the most wonderful stay with the folks at Lorne house. My wife loved the wet room. The beds are really comfortable with high quality linens. Highly recommended. Close to all that is important in Bath.

Very good B+B with friendly owners. Wet room is special for a B+B and room was comfortable. Only slight issue were towels not replaced even after leaving on the floor. Just hung up to dry. Breakfast good and recommend highly.
"Friendly and Relaxing"
A very enjoyable stay. Enjoyed the wet room experience, comfortable bed, plenty of information on the local area, wifi worked which was useful. It ticked all the boxes, just a shame its not on the Welcome Rewards scheme.
Had two double rooms. Both redone recently. B & B very friendly, good breakfast, clean. Took public bus into Bath...about a 15 minute ride. Left car at B & B. Bus stop just across the street.
"Nice but noisy"
Unforunately the guest house is situated on a very busy main road which is very noisy and as we had a front facing room it disrupted our sleep. Ask for a room at the back and you might be ok. Otherwise this is a lovely little guest house.

From the first we arrived we were welcomed warmly and the accommodation was more than we expected. We had our own bathroom which was well appointed with little extras included. An excellent nights sleep followed up by a full breakfast which was wondeful. I would highly recommend this establishment and when we return to ENgland would certainly stay there […] again.
