"Close to downtown"
It was a very nice stay, but the rooms were just a bit outdated, but you can't beat the price.

"HIGHLY Recommended!"
The Black Hawk is a perfect example of "the little things" that make a big difference. After staying in 20 different hotels in a row on a road trip, this is the first one with a DVD player in the room.. Things like that! It was comfortable, the staff was incredibly welcoming, and the price was unbelievable (in a good way!) amazing place, check it out!!! If you have high expectations, you might be disappointed. This is not a fancy, modern place. But if you just want a decent room for less money, this is your place to go. We chose to stay at the Black Hawk Motel because of past reviews and the reasonable rate. The hotel takes me back to my childhood years of staying in a family run motel rather than the big chain hotels. While the overall condition of the hotel is rather dated, our room was clean, location was very good for using as a base to visit the surrounding area […] and the staff was friendly and helpful. "Frozen in Time"
This place was what I hoped for, but surprisingly much more. Think of a "travel lodge" from the 70s, but in exceptionally good care. When your room has a screen door that works like it was installed by a pro, opens up to a nice courtyard of sorts with parking, vintage arcade room, indoor and outdoor pools that are very well cared for.. it was like going […] back to when we stayed in the Dells as kids and the place was still just starting to grow. "Exceeded expectations"
We were very suprised with the Blackhawk Motel, The rooms were very clean and in great condition, they have taken great care of the building inside and out. Very satisfyied with this motel, will stay again. If all the rooms were as nice, they deserve to be acknowledged in some way.

Only a block or two from all the fun shops and rides of the Wisconsin Dells. It's a cute little motel and was just what we were looking for at a price we can afford.

Nice,comforftable hotel that's very nicely priced. Indoor and outdoor pools as well as 2 hot tubs make it relaxing no matter what the weather's like. You'll enjoy your stay there.

This motel is great for a quiet stay away from all the craziness Dell has to offer. Just a few blocks from downtown, too. It is clean, maintained, and comfortable. You have to drive to get to any of the attractions why not stay somewhere where you can just relax at the end of the day.

Black Hawk Motel was a wonderful place to take my grandaughter for her birthday weekend. Great place for families & couples. Will stay there again if we get the chance. Very clean & close to all the attractions. Loved it that the same families stay there every year & have been for many years.

Clean, comfortable, no frills motel close enough to walk into downtown Dells, but far enough off the main road to be nice and quiet at night, even with windows open. American Grill across the street was convenient and tasty. No complaints--would stay there again.

We stayed for one night with our grandsons in early July 2011. The boys loved the outdoor pool and want to stay 2 nights next year. The rooms were fairly priced and very clean. We will be back!
I chose this Motel because on Trip Advisor it was ranked #1 out of like 83 hotels/motels in the Dells area. It sure lived up to that rating. It was cheaper than any of the hotels by a good margin, it was only 2 miles (5 min drive) from Noah's Ark. Super clean; ice cold AC (just like I like it). A couple of the tiles in the tile board of the bathroom […] ceiling were sagging and I mentioned it to the staff before we left for the water park. Before we came back for a quick lunch it was fixed. We didn't get to use the pools but they looked really nice and large and there was a hot tub and jacuzzi as well. Lisez la suite

The staff are very friendly. It's a great location, could walk to downtown area. Recommended Mimi's American Grill for breakfast and it was outstanding. Very pleased with the stay. Old style motel - but was clean, comfortable, had a fridge and microwave and WiFi. Very affordable. If I go back to the Dells, I would definitely stay there again. Nice place.
"Will be returning"
This was a wonderful motel! We were comfortable and everyone was so friendly it felt like home! We only have two recommendations: 1) it would be nice if they replaced the towels in the bathrooms. They were still soft and very clean but had some rips and holes in them. 2) The fan in the bathroom doesn't seem to vent at all, so the walls could use a wash. […] But they weren't disgusting or anything like that. We have been recommending this motel to all our friends and family, and will be returning any time we come to the Dells. Lisez la suite

"Clean and comfortable"
This motel was clean, well maintained and comfortable. It is laid out a little odd, with multiple buildings, but not in a bad way. The only thing I didn't like, but of no fault of the management, was that the indoor pool was too far from our rooms for us to enjoy in falll weather.

This is not a newer motel so many of the furnishings, fixtures, and the carpets have seen better days but the mattresses have been replaced and are comfortable - not too hard. My wife and I ...who are seniors, spent a very pleasant 4 days at the Black Hawk Motel in Wisconsin Dells. Our expectations were met and exceeded in some cases...and the Hotels.com booking was so easy and pain free. Our motel room was ready as promised and we were supplied with all the things we needed to make our vacation so much fun.The local business […] community had offered the motel lots of special deals on meals and tourist attractions, and the owner of the motel made sure we knew about all the offers available to us. "Black Hawk - great home base"
Trip to the Dells with sons. The Black Hawk was very nice. The beds were amazing very comfortable. Staff was very helpful. The room was clean and fit our needs. We visited various water parks and used the Black Hawk as our home base. We returned there nightly and had an end of night swim with some time in the game room.
