John Milton Inn - Syracuse

Staff was courteous but hotel itself was was older style and worn plus a $10 deposit was required for room key and remote. Not worth the money for the accomidation.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed. I can't really complain about the service, the front desk staff was nice. There was a pile of trash bags right next to our room, the sheets and blankets looked so old and worn I slept with my clothes on. The impression I got from the place is that it's the kind of place criminals look for to do their business. are their […] main clientele. The "breakfast" that was included was coffee and toast with butter, thank God Dunkin' Donuts was right next door. The bathroom was stained and it didn't look very clean, the pictures online looked way better than the real thing. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody. Lisez la suite

I was really dissatisfied with the service of the hotel. Our room was not changed with clean sheets, the pillow cases were wasted, the microwave did not work at all. The towels are really wasted and old. It was the john milton north syracuse. It also looked like they rent out to welfare recipients. OMG!!!! rats nest!!! no rooms available anywhere else and i should have slept in my car!!! clientel in general-scary! decor-scary! bedding- scary! bathroom-scary! no matter what..... DON'T STAY THERE!!!

Worst hotel ever. Tv showed green, beds not comfortable etc. Just bad!!!!! Last minute stay or not I will never stay there again.

One of your people should book a room at this facility to see what Im going to say. The room was filthy, and the hotel is so miss managed. Was sattisfied with your web site, but wow on this hotel. I couldn't leave fast enough.

Travelled from Ottawa (ON Canada) to pick up my wife, daughter and grandson at Syracuse airport the following day. After several attempts by myself and desk clerk, was unable to log into WiFi which I wanted to use to check incoming flight. Clerk attempted to fix problem and called support - WiFi was still not working when I checked out the next morning. […] Had to stand near hotel next door to log into their WiFi. Noted the following of the room: No light on night stand (had to shut light off near doorway, no hair dryer in washroom, no food available for continental breakfast - went to Denny's next door - had to deposit $10.00 for door key (door key is plastic with small holes - these were popular at least 10years ago - hotel should upgrade to new technology. I requested a non-smoking room and the room smelled cigarette smoke terribly,the pillows weren't much thicker than a pillow case and so noisy I had to keep the air conditioner running just to block the noise,I will never stay again nor would I recommend it to aanyone

This place is horrible!!! First of all, we couldn't find it - hidden behind another bigger hotel! Then we couldn't figure out how to get into the parking lot with NO signs! The hotel clerk lady acted nonchalent, unknowledgeable, and with a sassy attitude, besides! She couldn't figure out and/or re-program the TV remote, so we had no TV access for the […] night! And when we later requested extra pillows, she handed us another bed comforter while stating, "This is all we have!"! The beds were harder than a board! Worst motel I've ever seen.

Breakfast was very poor. A lot of domestic problems with neighbours, noice inside and outside and police visit. It is cheap but try to avoid this place

Should have a hair drier and a breakfest. No hair drier and only english muffin for breakfast. No juice and coffee was like dish water..... Carpet bedroom had burns on it and lot of sound during the night from the Dunkin Donut just down our window.... Bathroom was very small (only one people at time could be in it).

My room was not clean. The telephone looked like someone had used it as an ashtray. My blanket was disgusting. It had holes in it & looked like it had not been washed in a long time. Breakfast was supposed to be at 6 a.m. & when we got there at 5:58 a.m., we were told it wasn't yet 6 a.m. At 6 a.m. the gentleman decided to get up & start to put out […] the stuff for the continental breakfast. It was 6:15 by the time he finished, so we were late for our appointment. Friends in another room requested a 5 a.m. wake-up call. They never got one. Fortunately we called to make sure they were up. There were unpleasant odor smells in the hallway, unclean spots on the chairs and curtains, a broken light bulb and a broken bathroom door. There was not enough drink for the breakfast.

It 's a non-smoke room, but I still smell something. They forgot morning-call.

I booked a non smoking room but the room I got first was discusting. It smelled like cigarette smoke. The smell was so bad that it made me sick. When I requested a new room the desk attendent told me that he could not help me. The next day I spoke to the "Manager". She came to the room and said the the smell was wallpaper but gave me another room anyway. […] That room was not much better. The entire Inn smelled like cigarette smoke. Customer service is non-existant. They even refused to give me a receipt for my stay when I checked out. Many guests were complaining about the smell and lack of service but the Inn staff did nothing. Not one of them cared anything about customer satisfaction. Not even the "Manager". THIS IS THE MOST DISCUSTING HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN. NO MATTER GOOD A DEAL YOU THINK YOUR GETTING, ITS NOT WORTH IT. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DUMP. Lisez la suite

One does not expect a hotel in the low price range to have any type of luxury or superfluous (shampoo and conditioner) However, one does expect to sleep without feeling in danger and have the room cleaned each day, toilet paper, and clean towels. Two days on a row we did not have this, even though we complained after the second day of arrival. At […] night we could hear people fighting in the room next door as well as in the parking lot. Although the hotel description indicates wireless availability, it is very poor and sometimes it is unavailable. Pillows are VERY thin. The beds did not have sheets, just the fitted sheet and the comforter. We had to go downstairs and get sheets. Towels seemed to have been washed in dirty water. We arrived late in the evening. Check in was very quick. We were told our room was located on the back of the Inn. We drove to the back of the inn where my son and I opened our door and were just bringing in our bags when a man came right into the door asking for money and how he hasn't seen anyone in our hotel room for a long time. All night long there […] were people going in and out of the rooms down from us asking about drugs. I didn't feel very safe being there with just me and my 9 year old son. The ceiling was cracked from one side of the ceiling to the other side. The mattress had a heart shaped sticker on it that said "Thong" on it. The pillows smelled, and had hairs on them. The bathroom was very clean along with the rest of the room. They need to concentrate on the bedding. Lisez la suite

STAY AWAY

The room was clean, the towels were rough but they did the job. sort of. The rooms could use more local information such as take out restraunts with deliveries, the continental breakfast was good, the coffee pots need cleaning after each pot to make it fresher. I suggest the housekeepers use a degreaser for the tubs to clean them better like 409. The […] hallways could use better vacuuming and dusting along the walls to keep the place looking attractive. it was sketchy, cheap and smelly but not all that bad for the price.. what can you ask for. we got a scented candle and it fixed most of the problem

Very odd place. 10 dollar deposit required for room key. Paper notes all over the wall in the room. Mattress was hard, but the AC was cold. The best part was the AC no doubt. People were sitting in chairs outside the rooms and the place had an odd smell. It was a place unlike I've ever experienced hotel wise......

überhaupt nicht zu empfehlen, sehr dreckig und die Geschäftsführerin sehr unfreundlich und unkooperativ. Das war der schlechtste und dreckigste Hotel den ich in jemals gesehen habe.
