Concept d'hôtel sympathique et original, déco et design bien fait. Points négatifs: propreté de la salle de bain et insonorisation des chambres. La fenêtre de la chambre donne sur le jardin et patio dans lequel passent les gens pour aller dans les chambres. Les jeunes qui rentrent de sortie s'installent dans le jardin et continuent leurs discussions […] animées... difficile de ne pas être réveillé. Good experience at this hotel. Clean and convenient no-frills hotel. Only negative was the coffee maker. I prefer one that can make hot tea as well. No tea bags provided.

its pretty good

The location was perfect for us. The underground parking was a bonus. Only complaint we had was the fact that the room was too hot, We couldn't seem to shut off the heat so had to open the windows. That, unfortunately was a bit noisy from traffic as we were on the street side of the hotel. The garden courtyard was lovely and staff very friendly.

Recently remodelled and very well done. Very friendly staff. Rooms were small but our single room easily accommodated two people with luggage. Great area -- close to West End and beaches, yet also withing walking distance of museums, main shopping area, etc.

Great location, amazingly quiet (but ask for courtyard room). Clean, nice touches (free bottled water and Nespressos). Downsides: Very small sink, very slow wi-fi.

When you pull up for the first time you may rethink whether you should trust unknown reviewers but don't worry, once you step into the lobby your faith will be restored. Great place to have as a home base for a weekend in Vancouver. Not a lot of amenities but clean, comfortable, cool vibe, and friendly staff.

The Burrard is a great little hotel nestled in downtown Vancouver. Very chic remodel with small quant rooms. The marketing department gets a A+ for the funny sarcastic signs and materials in the hotel and in each room. My favorite was the parking lot sign warning thieves that the hotel knows karate. There was a hiccup regarding charging my card for […] the room when it was prepaid, but that was rectified without problem. The beds could use some updating though. They are quite soft with very little support. Otherwise a great experience. The hotel staff was quite helpful when we asked questions. I liked the hotel very much. It is very clean inside and out and it has a friendly staff and good service.The location of the hotel was very good and within walking distance of many attractions and places I was interested in. Nice medium quality hotel near downtown. If it is just to have a place for the night, the hotel is great. Probably not well suited for families.

If you were walking by The Burrard, you might not find it to be a very inviting place to stay. From the outside, it looks like a somewhat dated hotel/motel. However, once you enter the lobby, you begin to realize that you were dead wrong (and you feel a little bad about those accommodation-ist prejudices you're harboring). This place is absolutely fabulous. […] Renovated top to bottom throughout, great style choices, ridiculously clean, first-rate staff, excellent amenities, and all with a wonderful sense of humor. The location was ideal for me; the staff were friendly, prompt, and attentive; and the hotel was attractive & well kept.

I loved The Burrard. Great retro-Euro boutique hotel feel in a great location. Super clean and comfortable and great service. Would definitely stay again!

clean and comfortable, although parking is not free but thats okey.

We loved our stay in this cute facility. The bed was very comfortable and the room was charming. The location is perfectly located for walking or catching mass transit. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again!

Such a great value in downtown Vancouver! From the comfort of the room to the helpful staff everything was perfect for our week stay there. What I liked best was nothing was tacked onto the price. The bottled water, free phone calls, great coffee, umbrellas (thankfully) to the bicycles were all there for the asking.

Don't let the outer structure of The Burrard fool you. It may look a little old and run down, but the inside is very clean and chic. The elevator was under repair during my whole stay, but it was an easy climb up to my top level room. I loved the complimentary water, free wi-fi and phone calls to the US. It is in the heart of downtown, right next to […] the Sheraton wall center, and is a short walk away from major attractions. If you take a bus from Seattle to Vancouver, the quick shuttle stops minutes away from the hotel. The staff was very friendly as well. I would highly recommend this hotel! Lisez la suite

We were pleasantly surprised by the Burrard. The hotel isn't much to look at from the outside, but the exterior is not at all indicative of the simple yet stylish rooms and courtyard with greenery. The hotel staff was great, and the water and internet was free to boot! I would definitely stay here again.

Nice place to stay, friendly staff, very helpful, great location. The elevator was out and we were on the third floor with heavy luggage, but they were working on it and should have it going again soon. The staff offered to carry it up for us. I would reccommend this hotel and stay there again.

Great service, we needed across from the hospital, needed medical treatment. Elevator was being repaired, a bit of a pain because of the operation, but the staff was really friendly and flexible because of not sure of checkout times and parking, because we didn't know when we would be finished. They were very helpful. The renos were really cool too. […] Room was very comfortable to recover in, and nice enough that we would go back just for a weekend away too. Thanks so much Lisez la suite

We arrived for the last 3 nights of our holiday after spending 5 weeks overseas including skiing (therefore we had a LOT) of gear. We were totally floored when we were told upon check in that the elevators were not working - it looked like they had been shut down for quite some time for refurbishment. It was an ordeal lugging us all up and down to the […] third floor and to make matters worse my husband ended up on crutches on our last day there so that was a nightmare!! It's directly opposite a hospital emergency department, so expect sirens at all hours. Also I was very concerned about my 3 year old walking too close to the balcony railings as they look to be genuine from the 50s and the distance between them looked like a small child could fall through. Staff were excellent and very helpful, rooms were clean and well appointed (though one mattress in our room had a dreadful lean to it - but in their defense they were changing out some mattresses the day we left so maybe this one was just due to be changed), location was great - easy walking distance to Robson St and Granville St. All in all I liked the place but I don't think I would stay again with my family (young kids). This is a great place for a couple or singles to stay but not really very disabled/family with young kids suitable in my opinion. Lisez la suite

great hotel, staff were awesome and rooms where super clean and comfortable. Bit of street noise in the morning but its downtown Vancouver so thats way it goes.

Hotel Burrard is conveniently located in downtown Vancouver. The price is reasonable. The room was clean. The staff were very helpful. I will recommend this hotel.

Everything was ideal except for comfort, need curtains on outside room windows to diffuse outside lighting.

We stayed in the Burrard one night to take advanged of the Vancouver night life. What a great choice. The staff were excellent, the room was lovely and the amenities worth every penny. The 50's motel theme was cool too. A great price for a great hotel in the centre of the downtown Vancouver core!

Pros: -Nice comfortable bed, loved the retro, clean-look decor of the room. -Decently priced rooms. -Liked the quirkiness of the inn itself (piped in music in the atrium, amusing signage, etc.) and front desk person was very helpful and professional. Cons: -Elevator was out of commission during our stay so we had to use the stairs. Good news is there […] are only 4 flights max to walk up, bad news is lugging over-sized luggage up those 4 flights is a ginormous pain. -Nice pictures of beautiful people were laid out on the bed courtesy of the hotel, but I would have preferred a little pamphlet describing the hotel and it's features (parking, telephone, etc.) -Hair in bottom of the fridge. Yikes. On the whole, I would recommend this inn to others, I'm pretty sure the last point was an anomaly. I'd definitely stay here again. When they get their elevator fixed. lol Lisez la suite

Best 3-star motel I have stayed in. Very stylish and convenient: -Nespresso (coffee) machine -Free water, even lip balm! -Large screen TV (larger than Sheraton next door) -Free Wifi, free long distance calls within North America -Excellent location -Proper hotel type bedding -Very comfortable bed and bedding -Newly renovated -Many food options on Davie […] Street (1 minute walk) All these for less than half the price of Sheraton which is located next door Lisez la suite

Walk to everything. Great rooms and quiet. Will stay there every time.

When renting here get a room off the Burrard street as it is noisy at night and can keep you awake. If you want a bath you are out of luck but the bed is really comfortable and a good night's sleep.

Fun place to stay, great central location, great price. Loved the free bikes. Lots of character. Super clean, very comfy beds. Would definitely stay here again. Only thing they are missing is a pool/hot tub and maybe a continental breakfast, but overall well worth it.
