"hotel sleep inn brooklin downtown"
Hôtel à 3 blocs d'une station de metro, très pratique. Bon rapport qualité prix. Le seul bémol est la petitesse de la salle petit déjeuner où on se bouscule un peu le matin et risque de ne pouvoir s'asseoir......
"Sleep Inn Brooklyn Downtown, definitely too noisy"
My room was very noisy, because of the road besides. After one night, i could change for a better room, but still noisy. I had a smoking room, i'm not a smoker, and i couldn't change, despite the fact i staid too weeks ... not very friendly. The service is average and the subway line R (to go to Manhattan) is one of the worst. Don't go there !
"Sleep Inn Brooklyn: super rapport qualité prix"
"Trying to sleep in at the Sleep Inn"
My girlfriend and I stayed in a room with a single king bed for two nights in room C07. Initially, we were sort of confused, but it turns out that "C" refers to what some buildings call the "Garden Level" (i.e. the basement or ground floor). When we found our room, we immediately noticed the proximity to the lounge/breakfast area, service areas, elevator, […] and were momentarily concerned about the possibility of noise or heavy foot-traffic past our room. These concerns turned out to be well founded. If you are in New York to take in any night life, you may find yourself with some desire to sleep in past 7:30 or 8 in the morning. I regret to inform you that if you are on floor "C", this will be most impossible. The moment that breakfast starts, the waffle iron will repeatedly go off with a loud, repetitive, beeping noise akin to that of a smoke detector. Furthermore, to get to the breakfast lounge, most of the hotel will take the elevator down to the floor and walk right past your room. There is little to no noise-dampening, so you will hear every word of every conversation of people passing by. I now know just how many people it takes to keep the Sleep Inn up and running because I've heard each employee going about their business. Lines for elevators frequently form as people haul linens to and from rooms, transport cleaning equipment, and perform other tasks, and naturally these employees converse while waiting. This is no fault of the staff, but rather the fault of the managers for renting rooms on the 'C' floor WITHOUT any additional sound insulation. The location isn't the best, but the proximity to the subway can't be beat. The neighborhood is charming and has loads of character. However, if you want a good night's rest, this is NOT the hotel for you. For the rates they charged, I expected to not need ear plugs and was sorely disappointed. Make sure your room is not on the 'C' floor at ALL costs. Lisez la suite
"Surprise"
we stayed one night. we were in town for a bridial shower. Our approach to the hotel was not that impressive. Limited parking and neighborhood looked a little run down. the hotel itsself was immaculate. The rooms were pristine. I would stay again.
"VERY HAPPY"
THE ROOMS ARE ARE SMALL,BUT GOOD ENOUGH TO STAY AND FEEL COZY.CLEAN VERY CLEAN THE GIRLS THAT CLEAN THE ROOMS ARE WONDERFUL. THE GUYS ON THE FRONT DESK ARE SO KIND AND UNDERSTANDING. THE LADY THAT MAKE THE BREAKFAST FOR YOU SHE IS THE HOST OF HOST SHE SO GUTE WITH EVRYONE SHE SAY GOOD MORNING SHE GREAT,,THANK YOU EVERYONE ME AND MY FAMILY HAD A GREAT […] TIME THERE I FEKT LIKE MY HOME THANK YOU AGAIN..WE WILL COME BACK ANYTIME, Lisez la suite
"Cheap stay for visiting Brooklyn or Manhattan"
Pluses: free breakfast and wifi. Short 3 blocks walk to R train into Manhattan. Grocery store nearby. Easy 15 mins walk to downtown Brooklyn from hotel. If you get the $29 unlimited 7day metro card, it's a cinch to zip around, but it is time consuming. Cons: noisy if room is facing street. Neighborhood not great. Bring your own shampoo/soap since their […] toiletries aren't top quality. Time consuming to get to Manhattan so if you only have a few days be prepared to leave early and return late to maximize your time in the city. The hotel was too far even though we were tempted to lug our shopping bags back to the hotel during the day before doing more shopping. We didn't want to lose 2 hours in transit just to dump our heavy bags. If you get a great price for this hotel then it's a cheap stay for a decent sized room with free breakfast/wifi, esp if you have a long stay which adds up in $$. If you don't have the time luxury, splurge for a hotel in the city. Lisez la suite
"Great hotel!"
For 2 stars this hotel is very good!
"The Sleep Inn Hotel in New York"

"Very Pleased"
Excellent all around. Very impressed especially since this is a sleep inn
"Sleep Inn -What a Deal!"
Included a free continental breakfast, clean room, spotless bathroom and wonderful mattress! Staff was welcoming and polite. A bit of a trek into Manhattan but only a few miles to Park Slope, BAM, Brooklyn Museum of Art. Recommend using a taxi at night.
"Good but Noisy"
Excellent place to stay. Close to MTA. Comfortable, NY size room. Great bed. Only drawback is that the hotel is close to the freeway. There is almost constant highway noise.
"Poor"

Hotel was difficult to find. Don't follow your GPS. It doesn't bring you to the correct location. Hotel is located next to very busy highway and you can hear the highway noise all night. Other than that the hotel was clean and staff were helpful and professional.
"Small clean polite and affordable"
The room was small for me and my 2 teenage sons, but the service was good and the hotel was clean, safe and affordable. A short walk to the metro, we were able to visit DUMBO and Manhattan quickly. Surrounding neighborhood is NOT the stuff of tourism. Staff put together a nice breakfast and had a cab waiting for us at 5 am as promised - well done […] ! Lisez la suite
"nothing wrong with this place"
A few reviews said it was a sketchy neighborhood, etc. We had no problems (Me, my wife, and our 3-yr-old). Convenient- a few blocks from the subway, place was clean, comfortable, no complaints. Would recommend it. I was nervous about it after reading a few of the reviews, but really- no problems.
"Sleep Inn Brooklyn Downtown"
Room was comfy and clean, only a few blocks from the R line, definitely worth it.
"Plain as Jane"
Location. RIght next to BQE. 6 on site parking spaces. Smaller than usual 2 double bed room, barely space to walk between the dresser and the bed. In my room at least. Clean room. Friendly and helpful concierge. No prob.
"Good value and clean comfy place to sleep"
Stayed here with my girlfriend when securing an apartment lease in Park Slope Brooklyn. I was surprised for a hotel this inexpensive how clean it was and the updated condition of the room. Overall, I thought this was a very good value for the area. I thought the location was going to be ghetto, but it turned out to be a fairly quiet neighborhood. It […] is just surrounded by a bunch of auto repair shops, which give a bad impression on Google street view. They let you park in the hotel lot or there is street parking everywhere. I think the N,R,D subway is a few blocks away, but we didn't take that because we had a car. I will say this is not in the most scenic part of Brooklyn, so don't expect to walk outside and be wowed. You will need to either drive in a car or take a subway to where you want to go. Overall, I was happy to get a good nights sleep here. The bedding was updated, clean and the room had a nice LCD and counterspace for paperwork. I would stay here again. Lisez la suite
We only stayed for a few days but our stay was very nice and the service was good. The only thing I wished for was for warmer blankets! I would recommend this hotel in the future.

"Great deal for clean nice hotel in convenient plac"
Great value, rooms were clean and comfortable. A little small, but other than that.... great. 2 block walk to the subway and from there easy access to everything in NY and Manhattan, so you can't beat the value. Definitely will stay there again.

"Great Value, Close to Brooklyn Sites"
This hotel is small, but clean, efficient, and in an ok neighborhood. Great value and a perfect location for doing business in Brooklyn. Three blocks from the subway. Rooms are small but clean, neat, and modern. Free wi-fi, typical free breakfast fare, and a nice staff.
"Sleep Inn -- and wake up hungry"
Twenty minutes before the close of their free breakfast, there was no food, and they refused to bring out more. There were black hairs all over the bathroom floor in our room. Yet, I slept great there, and no bed bug problems for us.
"clean, comfortable hotel"
We stayed for one night. The hotel and our room was clean and comfortable. The location was not great but the subway was a couple blocks away. The continental breakfast was good but very crowded. There were not enough table for everyone to sit down. We ate in our room. The front desk service was efficient but not overly welcoming or warm. Check in and […] out was easy. I would stay again as the price was good and the hotel clean and comfortable. Lisez la suite

"clean & cheap, but SMALL rooms"
very clean, and the maid was friendly and helpful. hotel is walking distance to subway; 20 minutes to lower manhattan. the room itself was TINY. enough room for a bed, desk, a nightstand, and only about a foot or so of room to move around in. good for one person who just needs a clean place to crash and a comfy bed to sleep in. (maybe ok for a couple. […] ) the highway noise would've bothered me if i had not known beforehand that the hotel practically abutted the highway. overall a decent place to stay.... again very clean. "great rate, new building, close to metro"
I drove from Miami to Niagara Falls. I had several stops on my way up and I tried different hotels. This hotel is new building, very clean and neat, confortable beds, good breakfast selection, friendly staff. For a double bed room is a little tight, but it is typical NY. Close to Metro station, 20 min. to Manhattan. The neighborhhod doesn't look nice, […] but it is safe Lisez la suite
"good value"
We were very pleased with the cleanliness, the AC, the breakfast, the hot and cold water and other bathroom aspects, the easy check-in and check-out. Wish there were more towels and washcloths.
we had to travel thru some dilapidated looking blocks. But the hotel itself is modern, clean, and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. I will return to stay there if I return to stay in Brooklyn, NY.
Room had rust stains in the tub and a stain on the quilt. For a hotel that is only 10 months old, this was totally unexpected.

"Sleep Inn, Downtown Brooklyn"
Overall, the best experience I have had in a New York hotel. The 3rd time we have stayed there. There was a problem with the air conditioning, and the manager immediately attended to it. My only complaint is the high price, partly due to my signing up the day we arrived. The four block walk to the subway and a variety of convenience stores in the immediate […] vicinity are appreciated. And the Brooklyn Car Service (their alternative to taxis) works well and is reasonable. Lisez la suite

"A hotel grows in Brooklyn"
The hotel is set back from the rest of the buildings on the not-very-appealing road, making it impossible to see unless you are almost right in front of it. The Sleep Inn facilities had the appearance of being fairly new: shiny bathroom chrome, working AC, comfortable bed, etc. Pricing was good, rooms larger than typical for NYC, wireless Internet […] worked. However, the staff lacked some attention to detail -- the window of my room was completely cracked (likely adding to the road noise) and the shower curtain was either too short or too far away from the step-in shower as when I was done I found the bathroom floor soaked in water. "Sleep Inn Brooklyn"
After driving 12 hours to get to our hotel, we ended up in a room with a toilet that did not work. Everytime someone needed to use the restroom, we had to call the front desk and have them come up to get the toilet to flush, EVERY TIME! Their soIution was to not use so much toilet paper. This got old quick. Finally after speaking with the front desk […] again regarding this, they moved us to another room. We asked for a discount on the room due to the inconvenience, they said we needed to speak with the Manager, who would be there the next morning. The Manager never came. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone else. It was our first experience in NY, and we have already decided that when we return, we will NOT be staying at this Sleep Inn. Lisez la suite
