Affordable Suites - Greenville

Altogether a nice place for a couple of nights. Designed to be a long term option, but was great for the time we stayed there.

Loved my stay at your hotel. Everything was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I loved the quiet and how the living area was seperate from the sleeping quarters. I had a beautiful week and will recommend this hotel to all my friends who travel around the Greenville area.

Affordable Suites in Greenville, NC was our third stop in our college visit road trip. This hotel's desk is not staffed 24/7, which is disclosed in the reservation information, so we called ahead to ask how to check in after hours. We arrived about an hour after the desk closed, and found our key waiting for us in a mailbox outside the hotel office. […] Our suite was perfect - a large bedroom with a queen bed, a good sized bath and a living room w/ kitchenette. Everything was in great shape. Since the desk wasn't open (and we couldn't ask for a restaurant recommendation), we used an ap on our phone to locate restaurants to choose from - Greenville isn't a large place, but the restaurants we found were not close to the hotel. We ate dinner at a campus pizza place, and breakfast at Starbucks the following morning. The desk was not supposed to be open when we were ready to check out the following morning, so we returned our keys to the mailbox outside the hotel office and headed to campus via Starbucks. Excellent place away from all the clutter but close to everything. Very clean and like new. If you come with the essentials, this is where you can feel safe and save your hard earned $

I reside in Washington DC, and I normally stay in 4 star hotels. But, if you do not need room service and a 24 hour concierge and the hustle, bustle, and beauty of a 4 star hotel's lobby . Then this is your place. Bring your own pots, pans, ect.and be prepared for and inexpensive but spacious stay in Greenville, NC.

I was really satisfied with the condition of the room. But there was no iron or ironing board available. Even though I gave it a good rating, that would make you really feel like home. Thank you for allowing me to purchase a room. And I will continue to make Affordable Suites my choice of hotels.

OMG! the room was wonderful. Love the fact that it had a separate sitting room. Would definitely stay there again

I enjoyed my stay here. The rooms were very big and roomy. It was also clean and the person at the check in was very nice.

This is a good stay for the money. The room was large, clean, and the manager/check in process was efficient. Full kitchen (stocked with basics) and a full size fridge. Nothing sexy about this place, but you can't beat the price or the value.

We ended up stranded overnight in Greenville, NC during ECU orientation and had to quickly find a hotel that would not cost me very much. Hotels.com reassured me it was in a safe location, but when we arrived I felt less than safe. It was completely dark outside and while the parking lot was lit, what I had been able to see of the surrounding neighborhood […] left me ill at ease. I must interject that much of Greenville itself looks rather run-down and not particularly safe itself. It is motel-style, with exterior doors. The door had one deadbolt lock, but I am used to having more security devices on the door--whether or not they help I have never had to find out. We had a room on the first floor and when I looked out the back window in the bedroom, it was pitch black. I didn't notice any security devices on the window and was concerned about break-ins because anyone could slip behind the hotel unnoticed. I put a chair in front of the door for extra security, knowing that doing so would hinder escape if there was a break-in. The hotel, though older, was clean and spacious, quiet and comfortable. It is furnished with a full sized refrigerator and kitchenette in the main room, with the bedroom in a second room in the back. We passed the night without incident. The hotel manager was not on-site when we came to check in, but he had left contact information and we did have cell phones. I don't know how we would have handled the situation if we had not had one; perhaps that is a question that should be asked when making reservations if there is a possibility no one will be on duty at arrival time. He answered immediately when I phoned and politely gave instructions for accessing the room, which he had left for us at the hotel in anticipation of our arrival. Our check-in and check-out went very smoothly. If you are looking for a place to sleep and shower and will be out for most of your stay, you will be comfortable at this hotel. I was VERY PLEASED pleased with Affordable Suites. My low rate was great! It was convenient to ECU in a nice, quiet residential setting. Many restaurants and shopping options just down the road. My suite was very spacious, clean and well stocked with all the necessary items in a typical hotel. I was impressed with the thick towels! The gentleman I dealt […] with at check-in was very friendly. (Be sure to note that you must check-in by 7:00 pm. or make arrangements for a late check-in.) I was not sure what to expect because of the low rate I received, and with the extended stay concept. I was alone and was concerned about safety issues. However, after reading so many positive reviews I decided to give Affordable Suites a try. I'm so glad I did! We will definitely stay at Affordable Suites when visiting our daughter at ECU in the future. Lisez la suite

The hotel did not have any items in the kitchen. No silverware, china, stemware, pots and pans. Other than this situation the hotel was fine.

I book on a Saturday afternoon and showed up at 5:00pm to find out that they close at 1:00pm on Saturdays, and are closed all day Sunday. I called the number on the office door and in 15 minutes I had a room. The room was clean and nice, the only thing it didn't have was wifi. Other than that it was superb.

I was at first nervous about this not being a hotel. the rooms were clean - since it is not a hotel, you need to have blow dryer and an iron ...(which I did need) The neighborhood was pleasant - and it was very close to all the resturants and stores.

If you're looking for a suite w/ a full kitchen? This is the place for you. Stove w/ oven. I needed to bake a groom's cake and it worked out perfectly. The hotel is in a quiet secluded area. You must provide your own kitchen accessories but the nice, apartment feel is very apparent. Customer Service is top notch.
