Dommage que l'accueil n'ait pas eu de change pour la machine à laver / le sèche-linge (pièce de 1 € et 50 centimes uniquement), du coup nous n'avons pas pu laver notre linge.

Hotel tres comfortable ,calme,spacious,proper. Nous avons passé un super sejour, d'autant plus que le bus pour veinse s'arrete au pied de l'hotel.Nous sommes a 10 mn de venise.Il y a egalement un garage pour la voiture.seul petit point negatif la vue autour de l hotel.

Très bon accueil ,personnel parle français ,propre,confortable ,petit déjeuner copieux carte au restaurant très correcte ( choix et prix) , bien desservie pour se rendre sur venise .. Petit problème de chambre entre le libellé de la réservation et la réalité mais cela n'altère en rien l'excellent avis que nous avons sur cet hôtel car il semblerait […] que la responsabilité de > selon ses dires ne soit pas engagée . this hotel was excellent value for money, the room was clean, stylish and comfortable, the staff were brilliant and breakfast was lovely. it was a 10 minute bus ride from the airport and a 10 minute bus ride into venice. bus stop right outside the hotel.

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Mestre in April 2012. It is a modern, American style Hilton with all the latest amenities. The location was outstanding! We purchased a 48 hour transportation pass for 28 euro per person from the front desk and began our journey to all of the attractions in Venice. The #5 public bus stops directly in front of the hotel […] and takes a 5-6 minute trip over the causeway to the Venice station where you can board a vaporetti (public boat) or water taxi to see the city. The transportation pass covers all public vaporetti and all buses. Individual rides on the vaporetti are 6 euro per ride otherwise so it does not take long to make your pass worth it. The boat rides alone are a major attraction. For speed take vaporetti #2 directly to San Marco Piazza (the main square). The bus pass was even good for getting us to the train station which is just a few minutes from the hotel. We took the train to Florence for the next part of our journey. The hotel is clean, modern, and the staff very helpful! Make sure to eat in Venice because there are not restaurants within walking distance in Mestre. One of the best hotel experiences that I have ever had. The staff was wonderful, the rooms were spotless, the food was tremendous and the overall appearance of this hotel is top notch. We really enjoyed our stay.

Arrived late at night and left early the morning after. Everything was good except that you could not shut the AC off which was a bit loud.

This hotel is very well placed between the airport and Venice. Therefore it's much cheaper than some of the run down hotels in Venice, but still only 10 minutes by bus into the city. The only downside is that there is not too much within walking distance of the hotel. However, the hotel restaurant is fine if you are only stopping for a couple of nights. […] Also, there is a regular bus just outside the hotel which goes one way to Venice and one way to the airport. The hotel is very confortable and located near a bus stop that takes you to Venice. The only negative thing was that there were no Room Service Menu at the room and that when I called to have the password for using computer the lady told me that someone would come to the room and he/she never came. Besides that excellent shuttle service to airport.

I would stay in this one for sure! Great location for Venice. The bus picks you up in front of the hotel to cross over to Venice in minutes. The staff was oh so nice - real yes people! New and ultra clean. Beds were very comfortable. Food was good at breakfast. I really appreciated this place for all around good stuff. After an extensive search for a hotel in Venice I booked the Hilton Garden Inn in Mestre. The Hotel was a littledifficult to find due to recent road works, but on arrival we were dealt with efficiently and shown to our room. The room was comfortable and clean as you would expect from a Hilton Hotel only opened 12 mths ago. As the hotel is not situated […] within walking distance of any facilities we decided we would eat in the resturant. When we went downstairs around 7.30 the restaurant was busy. We were kept waitig for some time before we were eventually shown to a table. The restaurant seated between 80-100 covers and was being served by 2 very harassed members of staff one of which was also trying to cover the bar at the other side of the hotel. There was a long wait before we could place our order. We ordered a bottle of wine to accopmany our meal, but was told that this wine was not on the shelf and they did not have the time to go into the store to open another box. After refusing to accept a bottle of house wine as a substitute the duty manager was called who at the time was sitting in the garden chatting to a lady, he agered to offer me an alternative bottle and then returned to the garden. The two waiters continued to try and serve the guests, and we were eventually given our starters which were very good. However when the main courses arrived these were inedible. The salmon was dry and full of bones the chips were frozen and cold. The pasta looked liked it had come out of a tin. As my partner and I have considerable experience in the catering industry we recognised badly stored and badly cooked frozen food. Not what you would expect from a Hilton Hotel of this standing. We naturally complained. The hotel duty manager was still in the garden talking to his lady and after some discussion with the head waiter he eventually came in to see us. Although based in Mestre, you'll find yourself in venice in no time with frequent public transportation and special ticket service in the hotel. Splendid breakfast! Good clean rooms and wonderful beds. And that for a reasonable price considering it is the Hilton after all!

i stayed in hilton garden inn 4 nights and i loved it !! the room was great location also great less than 10 min to venice the staff very helpfull and nice breakfest was ok not the best we had will stay again for sure !!!

Was not really near the airport as advertised. No shuttle to hotel, taxi hire expensive at $40. Shuttle back to airport was great, but also expensive at $30

What a pleasant surprise. This is an excellent hotel. The rooms is great, very Italian in the decoration, etc. The mattress is excellent. I wish I could find this bed in my city. I will buy it. The bus stop is in front of the hotel and Venice is about 5-10 minutes away and the airport is about 15-20 minutes. We stayed there 2 days first and got a free […] buffet breakfast with the room. It was excellent. After 7 days we went back and there was a charge for the breakfast but I had no problem paying for it. The front desk is very informative and helpful. We have really enjoyed this hotel at the beginning of September 2011. The place has been recently built and everything was in working order and clean throughout. The receptionists were very helpful in answering all the questions we had. The breakfast buffet had plenty of variety and it was delicious. After a long day of walking in Venice, the lobby […] and the pool area are very inviting to kick back and relax with a drink. It is very quick and easy to get from the hotel to Venice and to the Marco Polo Airport (bus stop right at the door steps). We stayed at this hotel after returning from a cruise to the Greek Isles. The hotel prices to stay near St. Mark's Square were very expensive. The Hilton Garden Inn was very reasonably priced and less than a 10 minute bus drive to the water taxis. The hotel staff recommeded purchasing a transportation pass that would allow us to use the buses and water […] taxis. The pass was about $12 Euros and allowed us to travel up and down the canals. Our flight left very early the next day so we missed out on the buffet, however, we had dinner the night before in the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. What a great end to a wonderful trip! Room standard was excellent as was breakfast and the front desk staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Would definitely stay there again. There's a bus stop immediatley outside the hotel that goes directly into Venice.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights pre cruise from Venice. Chose it after reading glowing reviews on Trip Advisor and was not disappointed. It is on the main road from Marco Polo Airport and had a bus stop right outside. No. 5 or 19 bus from Airport cost 5 euro. If you ask driver he will let you know when you r close. Hotel has a beautiful pool and seating […] area. Reception staff very friendly and helpfull. Buses run into Venice every 10 min approx and take 10 min. Had a nice lunch in Hotel and breakfast but headed down to Venice for dinner each night. Bus only 1.30 euro each way. A ticket can be bought at airport for 24, 36, 48 hours etc. Travel ticket can be used on all buses and the standard water taxi. The 48 hr ticket including airport to hotel cost 31 euro. The Hilton Garden Inn in Mestre is an excellent place to stay if you would like to see Venice. It is cheaper than staying on the island, and only a 10 minute bus ride from the island. The bus stop is right outside the hotel, and very easy to navigate. The hotel staff has abundant amounts of information to give to travelers specifically visiting Venice […] from this location. We could not find a hotel in Venice due to the Film Festival so we decided to stay by the airport because we were leaving the next day. This hotel is exceptional. It is brand new and spotless. The service desk was helpful and the room had all the things you would need. The bathroom was huge compared to European standards. The shuttle to the airport […] was very convenient. This hotel is right next to a Bus stop which makes it very easy to go to Venice and/or any other destination by taking a 12 to 36 hour pass which is good for Bus and Water Bus service. Great place to stay with friendly, helpful staff and good location. Even laundry room for extended travelers . Rooms are well presented with comfort adjustable beds. Bus stop at front door for easy acess to Venice itself. Would stay here again and recommend to our friends.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We had just arrived at the port as the hotel was easily accessible. We had five a minute walk from the port, took the people mover (cost 1 euro each) to Rome (Venice) and then caught bus No. 5 (1.20 euro each) to the hotel, approxmately eight minutes travel. The hotel was in excellent condition, although off of venice island, priced well and easy and cheap to get to the island from the hotel. Staff was fairly unfriendly and not always available. Excellent hotel in every respect. Highly recommended. Bus stop to Venice is 100' away, very good resturant onsite and another good one two doors down to your left.

I really recommend this hotel it is very clean and quiet.. The staff is outstanding although I feel they are over worked however that didnt stop them from making our stay fabulous. The bartender also manages the kitchen and probably works more than 12 hrs a day, we will see him early in the morning and late at night. The waitress, the cooks, everyone […] was Fabulous. Stay here when you go to Venice and ride the bus across the bridge to Venice. The hotel is 5 times better than the ones in Venice and about 1/3rd of the price. The bus takes less than 10 minutes and you don't have to drag your suitcases thru the streets of Venice and up and down the bridges over the canals. The bus stop is 100 feet from the front door […] of the hotel. The hotel has a nice pool, bar and restaurant. Hotel was fine. Handy for the airport, a little distant from Venice itself but with a good bus service- and the hotel minibus to the cruise ship helped. Service was very inconsistent: reception staff were very helpful but service in the restaurant was very slow and there was, quite literally, no-one serving in the bar, despite a number of customers […] wishing to buy! My family of seven spent two nights at the Hotel. Our morning breakfast was good, the rooms were nice and enjoyed the coffee and tea in our room. It was very convenient to use the bus outside the hotel and with the bus pass we purchased at the hotel. It was also convenient to use the Hotel Van to get to the cruise ship.

This hotel was awesome and I have no complaints! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is coming to Venice. I hotel is new, clean, and the rooms are spacious. The hotel is located just outside of main Venice, but there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel and it is a short 5-10 minute bus ride down the road. Really enjoyed our brief stay at the HGI outside Venice. Very easy to get into the city from the hotel using the bus. Very close to the airport. Great breakfast and very nice pool.

After a long trip in Italy, this was our last hotel before heading back to the USA. We were thankful to have a perfect and comfortable room. City bus runs every 15 min into Venice and every 30 min to the airport... which is why we selected this location. Room service, restaurant, cable, internet, gym, and laundry room.

Good hotel, high standard of accomodation but a little basic overall. Very helpful staff.

Just 2 stops away from railway station. Bus stops just infront of hotel. Excellent and helpful staff. Hotel is almost new and everything was upto my expectation.

Hotel is very clean. Breakfast is not bad, but service is slower than North American standard. Dinner is a little pricy. Air conditioning in room (1st stay) turns off automatically after a few minutes; but in my 2nd stay, it was perfect. Venice is only a 10 min. ride and the bus stops are right in front of the hotel. We could not have been happier with this hotel for visiting Venice! It is a short bus ride to the island (10 minutes), but the stop is right in front of the hotel. Immaculately clean room, very quiet, gorgeous pool, fast FREE WiFi, english speaking staff... I could go on and on. This hotel was a new very clean hotel. The rooms were much larger then a typical European hotel room. The free high speed internet access was also a bonus. We stayed here at the end of our Cruise. It was about 10 minutes by taxi from the cruise port and cost us about 30 Euro's. On the front door step of the hotel is the public bus stop, bus 5 or 19 […] takes you to the island of Venice ( which the front desk sells passes for and gives complimentary maps/schedule for aswell) It only takes 5 minutes by bus to get onto the island of Venice. We bought a 36 hour transit pass that was good for all buses and waterbus's for 23 Euro's(single trip passes are available as well ~3Euro's for roundtrip on the Bus and ~13 Euro's for roundtrip on the water bus). It was wonderful not having to drag our large suitcases across the uneven cobblestone of the island and up and down over bridges. There isn't much around the hotel in the way of restaurants or grocery stores but the 5 minute bus ride to Venice made it convient enough. DON'T go to the restaurant in the hotel. We were very tired our first night and decided that it was a beautiful hotel and the restaurant wouldn't be that horrible...We were wrong. The servers were very rude to both my husband and myself. The kitchen could only cook one order at a time and once that table's order came out the next table's order was taken and placed. So for 2 pizza's it took us 90 minutes to order and eat. It was also very $$ and tasted horrible. They refused to serve us iced water only bottled water, which would have been ok except the tables on either side of us had been served with big pitchers of ice water. When we asked about that they got very angry and stormed off telling us it was against hotel policy to serve anything but bottled water. Other then the restaurant troubles I had no other complaints about the hotel.
