Beauclaires Bed & Breakfast Inn - Cape May

I stayed in Haley's cottage. It had a king size bed, lovely sitting area with reclining wingback chairs, a fireplace, ocean view, tv, private bath. Everything was true to the Victorian nature. Very nice bed and breakfast! The room we stayed in was small and on the 3rd floor of the building , hard on the back dragging luggage up. Breakfast wonderful!!! Inn keeper very friendly!We will visit again!

Joe really set the tone when he welcomed us. He was so laid-back that we settled right in and it was clear the other guests felt the same. You really need to spend a great night's rest on the wonderful mattresses in the rooms. Our one-night stay far exceeded expectations and I really would love to return for an extended visit.

The proprietors were very nice and very accommodating. The breakfasts were wonderful, the other guests were very nice, and we had a wonderful time. It was only 1/2 block from the beach and very convenient to walk to the shopping mall, including the restaurants.

I only stayed one night and this was my first B&B experience. Very nice place, owner was very pleasant and accommodating. The location is excellent...half block to the beach and two blocks to the downtown area. Breakfast was served at 9am which was late for me but that is a personal preference. Overall excellent experience and highly recommend.

Excellent B & B in Cape May...Close To The Beach and Downtown. The staff was EXTREMELY friendly...The breakfasts were fabulous and I would highly recommend a stay at the Beauclaires Bed and Breakfast Inn.

Our experience was disappoining, evidently there was a communication breakdown between the B&B and Hotels.com. We specifically said we needed a place with 2 beds, since we had 3 people in our group and we wanted a place that included breakfast. Hotels.com said that Beauclaires had a room with 2 beds and booked us into it. When we arrived we were told […] that that room was already booked and they didn't have a roll away, cot or mattress for us to use. The Manager very kindly founds us a room at another hotel, but it was more money and didn't include breakfast. Now I need to call for a refund, because even though we didn't stay there I discovered we were charged anyway. I guess I'm more disappointed with Hotels.com Thank you Lisez la suite

Arrived on a foggy fall day. Beauclaire's B & B was very comfortable. We weren't very impressed with Cape May...it's got a lot of cheesy stores on Washington St. Our breakfast was very tasty, but nothing unusual. We were the only guests and somehow I was hoping for something a bit more gourmet, but the food was well prepared and filling.

After reading all the great reviews on this B&B we decided to book!! Truthfully nothing to bragg about and very expensive!! Still can't figure out why the reviews were so misleading??! Had a wonderful time at this charming Bed & Breakfast. Very convenient location to the beach as well as the pedestrian walk were they have shops and restaurants. A beautiful victorian village. We took a horse and buggy ride and enjoyed the whole experience. I would recommend this establishment highly.

We chose this B & B for the very reasonable price, location, architecture and the terret. Have been coming to Cape May since 1962 and have many family members who own homes there. So never needed to spend money to enjoy Cape May for a few days. Surprised my daughter and a treat to me on my 32 wedding anniversary (minus hubby) staying at BeauClaires. […] House was breathtakingly beautiful, Joe was low key and down to earth. The home was in immaculaet condition and we wanted for nothing except a night lite in the bathroom. Breakfast was to die for and regreted not eating there the second morning. All my dreams and expectations of a B & B in Cape May were met and ever more so. We would highly recommend Joe's place to everyone and plan on going again next Spring, the money spent was well worth it! Lisez la suite
