Hotel vieillot mais relativement propre. Personnel agréable à la disposition des clients. Emplacement idéal à promité des différentes lignes de métro , de la Vème avenue, de Times SQuare. Pensez à réclamer des serviettes de bain qui sont distribuées au nombre de brosse à dents présenté dans la salle de bain.

Hôtel agréable, petit déjeuner servit de 6h30 à 9h30 correcte (ne pas arriver trop tard), station de métro ( 39 Av ) à 3min à pieds qui vous mène en 9min à la 5ème Avenue. Chambre spacieuse et bien équipée.

Très satisfaisant pour l'hôtel et ses prestations. Seul bémol : la durée des trajets en bus vers Manhattan ...

"Très bon compromis pour vister New York"
L'équipe est très amicale. C'est un hotel qui vient d'être rénové: hall accueillant et chambres très propres. Petit déjeûner gratuit plus qu'excellent: waffles, oeufs, fruits, céréales...Assez loin de JFk et la Guardia mais très bien pour visiter New York. Il y a un arrêt de bus à 200m de l'hotel qui vous conduira en 40 min au terminal des ferries et […] compter 25 min pour arriver à manhattan par le ferry. Très bonne façon de découvrir la Statue de la Liberté et le Skyline de New York le jour comme le soir. L'environnement est agréable, le Mall de Staten Isalnd est à 10mn en voiture ou en taxi et Denino's Pizza à 2km6 où sont servis les meilleures pizzas de New york . Hôtel affreux, nous avons eu une chambre dans le sous-sol! À côté du garage.....chambre qui sentait la peinture, l'air climatisé était très bruyante et la télévision ne fonctionnait pas.... Je ne retournerai pas à cet endroit!!

Tout etait magnifiquem le service et le petit dejeuner! Le seul probleme c'est qu'a peine 2 minutes avant de check out, des employes sont venus nous rappeler qu'il etait temps de s'en aller. Excellent choix, si vous n'avez pas d'objection à faire 90 min. de transport en commun (bus, traversier gratuit, métro) pour atteindre le centre de Manahattan. Stationnement gratuit. Plusieurs services et restos dans l'Île même. Brooklyn et New Jersey facilement accessibles en auto. Bel hôtel propre et tranquille, petit déjeuner inclus chaud-froid OK, […] quartier propre et sécuritaire. Bus à quelques pas. Un peu de bruit d'autoroute, choix des canaux télé à améliorer. Could improve menu for BF
Very nice hotel at a reasonable price. 20 minute ride to the Staten Island Ferry. I'd prefer a few more channels on the TV, including a business channel like Bloomberg or CNBC.
"Convenient"
Nice hotel. I'm from Toronto and I drove all the way to NYC. You can drive to the Staten Island Ferry (there is a parking there, $7/day) and take the Ferry to Manhattan (30 minutes). The Ferry is free and the view is amazing! If you are driving and don't wanna go to Manhattan with your car, this hotel is a nice option!
"visiting Wagner college"
Very nice, helpful staff at front desk when we arrived at 130 in the morning. Very comfortable bed, room very clean although a bit small but we were only in the room to sleep anyway. No elevators, only stairs which wasn't a problem for us but could be for others. Would definitely stay here again.

"A nice hotel - a little bit too far from Manhattan"
Stayed there for 3 nights while visiting NYC. Free parking and wi-fi that worked well. The room was nice and clean, quiet neighborhood, A/C was ok. Breakfast was ok but I expected more from Ramada. I heard that on weekends they also serve scrambbled eggs. During our stay there was coffee, toast, waffles, and two of the mornings they served also yoghurts. […] Take a bus S62 ($2,25) to the Staten Island ferry (walk to the bus stop 5min, ride takes about 30min) and ferry (free) to Manhattan (30min). There's also an express bus stop for the buses from Manhattan right next to the front door of the hotel. The bus stop to Manhattan is a couple of blocks away. We didn't take the express bus ($5,50) but I would assume it is faster than the bus+ferry combination. Front desk will help you with the directions and maps. Lisez la suite
"Good value, not bad to Manhattan"
Stayed 3 nights for the trip to NYC, convenient public transport to Manhattan. Good value when compare with other hotels in the city. Room was clean, but noisy on the side closed to highway. Debra was gerat, tones of advice. A very genuine person and she really does make the hotel. I hope the corporation recognizes staff liker herself. The hotel itself, I have no clue what the negative reviews were talking about. This place is great. I mean if you were looking for the 4 seasons you should have stayed at the 4 seasons. This place is great. […] I didn't feel like i sacrificed anything by staying here because of the lower rate and getting downtown was pretty easy. This hotel is for when you need a good bed and nothing else. It's at the side of the highway in an urban area. One ok restaurant close by and a pizza place. The room I had was small, but the bed was great and everything was clean and convenient. One caveat. This hotel was horrible... No company after 9pm which sucks ...the late night front desk is horrible... he cursed me out because Security came in my room late at night & i complained, I DO NOT RECOMMEND
"cold night on Staten Island"
Hotel was o.k., and was convenient to Wagner College which we were visiting. It got very cold during the night and there seemed to be no heat. The blankets were very thin and there were no extras. It was too late too ask for more so we were very uncomfortable. Staff was very pleasant and breakfast was pretty good.

"Ms. Debra was Great"
I ended up staying two nights and both very Plesant. Ms. Debra was a huge help. I do have slight complaint. There seemed to be more employees serving themselves breakfast before the guests. And cleaning while patrons are still enjoying breakfast. I was turned off by the spraying of cleanser around my breakfast.

We stayed 2 nights. The front desk was very helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast selection was limited but still OK. Room was clean and housekeeping was excellent. The housekeeping personnel provided us with plates, extra cups, and utensils (without us asking for it) when they saw that we have foods in our room. the hotel provided free parking and […] bus stop for the express bus to Manhattan and the local bus to St George Ferry Terminal are just around the corner, so the location is quite convenient. If you're driving, be careful when you exit the highway because the parking entrance is very near the exit and you might miss it. The room was a bit too small for two queen beds and they try to fit everything in the room - beds, dresser, huge TV, working desk - so it was a very crowded. This hotel was completely renovated and furnished to Ramada standards. It's very cozy and I felt so at home with the room ambience. I'll definitely book more stay in the near future.

I had a wonderful experience staying there. I was there a week. The staff was very helpful & friendly. The room was spotless, the hotel in general was spotless. They also had a freezer with micorwave dinners, and a nice variety of snacks and drinks. Which was such a bonus since I really didn't want to go out to get a meal. The employees at this hotel acted like they were the owners. They took great pride in the location and kept it very clean and pleasant. They all bent over backwards to assist at.

"Nice"
It was a nice stay, comfy hotel, very clean rooms, 2 downsides -few number of channels on TV -the rooms are very tiny. other that that it is very convenient and reasonably priced hotel.

Clean room, friendly staff. Only complaint is that it is located right next to the main road and I was kept awake by the traffic noise. But if that doesn't bother you than this is a conveniently located hotel.

This hotel is a nice enough place for a wayward traveler but not every comfortable. The light in the 'workout room' was broken and the ice machine and cleaning trolley were also stored in there. "SI Ramada - Good Value Hotel"
Overall, a good value hotel. Rooms were clean & comfortable, albeit small. Free parking & wifi. No bar, restaurant or gym so need to go elsewhere for these. One criticism: there was no elevator, so had to schlep up flight of stairs to my 2nd FL room. Good luck if you're physically handicapped.

"Ramada Hotel - New Year's Eve"
Overall the hotel was not bad but my friends had to stay in room 101 & 105.Both these rooms were handicap accessible rooms.Room 101 had mold in the bathroom closet (poorly constructed bathroom - water goes everywhere) - we had to change the room.Room 105 had the same issues but at least had no mold.

The only problem I had with the hotel was a filthy dining room table that was never wiped down. It seems somebody was eating take out food and after they were done, sauce and other stains remained on the table. This was a "turn off."
The hotel was the best priced for Quality level in Staten Island that I could find. It was close enough to the Richmond University Medical Center which is where I needed to be. There was a limited continental breakfast, yet it was minimal in the way of rolls and breakfast sandwiches; though it had a waffle maker, fruits and cereals, juices bread, and […] coffee. The hotel is very nice and my stay was pleasant. Two complaints: 1. The hotel is hard to find and it's tricky getting into the parking lot. My GPS couldn't find it. More detailed directions are needed. 2. The hotel TV didn't have a business channel. Bloomberg and/or CNBC should be added.

The lady at the front desk till 9ish, could not have been more helpful. She told us of eating places in the area and when we returned, about 9ish PM. she helped my mom with closing the blinds, etc. to make my mom feel very secure in her room.

"Ramada in SINY"
Hotel is on the service road of the SI expressway, so it is fairly convienient driving wise, although once there, there aren't many stores in walking distance (although not far driving). Hotel was clean, well kept, etc. Has a small store onsite (kind of expensive though). On the down side, if you ask for anything sent to your room (soaps, coffee, etc.) […] don't count on getting it. That happened twice. Also, if you decide to extend your stay, you really have to push for the same rate, or they'll tell you to get back online to reserve. I have written before, since we have been looking for an apartment i the Brooklyn area, where I work. public transportation is very convenient, both the ferry and the Express bus service. I cannot say enough nice thigs about the staff at this Ramada Inn!!!! They have made what could have been an unbelievably stressful time ito one that has been more […] than tolerable. The friendliness, professionalism, and kindness of everyone is beyond compare. I have travelled quite extensively throughout the world, and have stayed in some fantastic places. Yes, this is a small motel - the rooms are clean, efficient and the breakfast is great , as is havig internet access. I would put the staff at this Ramada Inn against anyone else in the world. I have never experienced the level of kindness and respect, as well as professionalism, anywhere! I am not exagegerating - some prople have written that the rooms are small; they are average for what they are. This is not the Ritz! But, frankly, I have been to the Ritz and prefer the treatment here. I would highly recommend the Ramada Inn for vacationers looking to save money, but still are looking for quality of care.
