hotel tres bien situe, mais chambre petite ,climatisation super bruyante et refrigerateur egalemment tres bruyant , dommage ! Par contre un personnel super attentif.

Les parcs naturels sont très répandus dans le sud de Fort Lauderdale. Le centre Anne Kolb Nature Center, à West Lake Park, est un paradis pour les poissons, les reptiles et les oiseaux. De l'autre côté de l'Intracoastal Waterway, des tortues de mer nichent à John U. Lloyd State Beach Park, lieu où se retrouvent les locaux pour pique-niquer et s'amuser. La tribu Seminole s'occupe d'un zoo au Native Village (Village des Indiens d'Amérique), qui abrite des alligators et la panthère de Floride, espèce menacée.

i wasnt aware that checkin was from 3pm-9pm. i had just got off my flight from NY and 15mins before 9 someone from the hotel called to ask if i was still checking in because they close the front desk at 9. dreadful right! however i explained to the person my flight time and they agreed to wait to give me the key for the room as it was of course paid […] for in advance. now my error was that i did not go to the room immediately, what i did was collect the key and head back out for dinner as i was famished! coming back to the room it was def. not like the pictures they had online! the rooms are run down! i did not even have toilet paper in my bathroom!!! mold on the ceiling! tv was not working! the hotel i give a .5 star but customer service i would give 3.5 because i did have another query in the morning and the staff was very helpful. i dont even think the motel was worth the 100$ i paid for the night! "Prostitution all around"
When I arrived at the hotel, two females approached me and tried to solicit prostitution. When I declined and kept on walking to the hotel entrance they followed me in there and the lobby person didnt even stop them from going on toward the back of the office. The Hotel attendant then asked, what are you looking for? Sounded like a strange introdution […] I said "I have a reservation" they looked surprised and said Oh OK. I truly wonder if there isnt a prostitution business being run from the motel on a regular basis. I called our Human Resources Manager that books our business travel and she cancelled the remainder of my reservation. Even though Expedia contacted the motel directly to explain what happened they still insisted on charging my company for one additional night. "Unbelievably Nasty"
This was the worst place I have stayed in all my travels. From the outside it is very appealing but the inside is terrible. Beds are squeaky and loud, couch was filthy so I took sheets off bed to but over the couch and found large dark stains on bed. The bathroom was no better, the shower pressure was very slow and I had to work on the toilet each time […] I used it. But the straw that broke me was a clean bag in the trash can with a used rubber in it. The surface my look clean but look a little deeper and you will be as disappointed as I was. When I returned home first thing I did was take a shower and washed all my clothes from my trip in hot water. Please take my advise and stay at another location when in Miami. "Not exactly as advertised."
I found this Hotel to be extremely dirty and with little sign of any upkeep. Our room was so filthy that you had to leave your shoes on except when in bed. Linens were moderately clean, but the bathroom, shower furniture and complete floor were disgusting. The advertising photos were certainly not current, although the exterior and the pool area were […] pretty much as pictured. I certainly would not recommend this property to any of my friends. "Lots of potential, but currently I'd pass on this"
The hotel courtyard setting is beautiful, and the area felt safe to me. But the rooms are very dated (50s-60s?), and the locks and blinds shaky or broken, so privacy was a concern. There was a full fridge and kitchen, but the kitchen was bare and not very clean. There was no trash can in the bathroom, but prior guests found a slot between tub and commode […] to drop used band-aids, q-tips, etc. I don't know how long they had been there. "A clean 1 star hotel."
It is old and unique. My wife wouldn't like it but she's comfortable in a 4 star. The hotel has a beautiful pool with established Florida plants that seem exotic to a northerner in winter. "Stick to a Hotel With A Known Name"
We requested a non-smoking room, because I'm allergic to smoke or the smell of it. When we walked into the room, it reeked of smoke, and there was an ash tray sitting out in the open on the night table. We asked for a new room, and the staff was more than accommodating, or so we thought. We also asked for "late check-out," which would be noon. At 11am […] (normal check out time), a woman came to our door and started pounding on it while we were asleep. It scared the living heck out of my boyfriend and me. It was rude and unacceptable. "If you're in a budget crunch, it's affordable"
The people were very nice, but the hotel was run down. Also not sure about the neighborhood -- came back from a business function around midnight and there were some scary characters in the side alley (after 11 PM the front office closes and you have two locked gates, one on the side alley, you use to enter the hotel grounds). The cab driver offered […] to wait to make sure I got in safely and I gladly took him up on it (I am a woman and was traveling alone). It was 1/3 the cost of and just 2 miles from the (very nice) conference hotel, so it helped my small business budget. But when my flight home was cancelled, I decided not to go back, stayed closer to the airport at a higher cost. It was partially to have a shorter trip back to the airport in the morning and also because I really didn't want to spend another night there. No phone in my room. No hair dryer either (although I asked and one was provided to me for the second morning). Very noisy window-unit air conditioner. There was a TV in my room and a refrigerator. "Make sure you avoid this place"
Room not clean. Dirt on the floor. Hairs in the bed sheet. Outworn and filthy furniture. Light switch broken. Had to wind light bulb in (and out). Noise from neighboring rooms. "Dont Stay Here"
The rooms were musty, The door to room looked liked cops kicked it in. We found 3 roaches in our room. The sink in the kitchen looked like no one cleaned it for years. The water in the shower was either very cold or very hot. The hotel staff was nice, but charged my card even know we paid cash. They did put the money back after a week.Avis véridique Expedia
