Nous avons séjournés dans cet hôtel durant 5 jours / 4 nuit à la mi-mars et je confirme tous les précédents commentaires positif! Le personnel est accueillant et charmant (tout comme la population New Yorkaise), la chambre de type King Deluxe était spacieuse et super confortable : grand lit, matelas parfait, salle de douche propre, petit frigo, machine […] à café / thé gratuite … Bref rien à redire. Il est vrai cependant que le petit déjeuner pourrait être un peu plus varié, mais avec tout ce l’on trouve à manger aux alentours de l´hôtel je ne peux pas me plaindre (supermarché au bout de la rue, cafés et autres quasi en face de l’hôtel). Bref, j’avais réservé suite aux bonnes critiques trouvés sur internet et j’en suis ravi. Vivement la prochaine fois… Lisez la suite

Agreable et Confortable.

Si l'ensemble est satisfaisant, pour un hôtel de ce standing et de ce coût, le petit déjeuner n'est pas de grande qualité ni de grande variété. Il pourrait y aussi y avoir un réfrigérateur dans la chambre. La concierge de remplacement durant le WE manque de connaissances pratiques. Le "wine and cheese" devrait se tenir entre 17 et 19h. Excellent hôtel, excepté le petite déjeuner médiocre

proche de tous les sites touristiques,belle chambre confortable et personnel courtois.

Tout était bien. Toutefois,les baignoires avec douche pour un hôtel de cette catégorie, sont dépassées.

Everything was very new and clean and fresh smelling. The complimentary breakfast was good and the rooms were spacious.

A really lovely hotel - one of the best we have stayed in. High standards of service and cleanliness - staff always pleasant and very helpful. Great location for walking around the city and also near a Metro station. Really nice touches - excellent complimentary continental breakfast, robes, and an umbrella for rainy days! Very convenient to everything, friendly staff, comfortable bed

The hotel is in an excellent location, modern, clean and very comfortable. It really was very good, BUT I found the staff lacking enthusiasm and pretty much just getting on with the job. Smiles were few and far between. Breakfast was basic and NOT for someone who wants to cut back on carbohydrates. It could be so much better and a bit more inventive. […] Not all of us live off pasties, bagels and cereals. I will probably stay there again, but hope to a happier team next time. Lisez la suite

This hotel is in the heart of Times Square which is where we wanted to be, yet it was very quiet and we slept wonderfully! The refreshments in the afternoon were a great touch and breakfast was ok. The coffee could have been better.

It was an overnight stay - four of us. The staff were all very helpful and accommodating. The room was fine - absolutely no complaints. The staff let us store our bags in their storage room both before we checked in and after we checked out because we wanted to tour the city for the rest of the day. Stayed three nights. Fabulous location steps from Broadway, theaters on the block, stone's throw from Times Square. Not noisy. Welcoming staff. Very nice room, but I did get a free upgrade. It was a time when hotel availability was tight, so I had to pay a high but not wholly unreasonable price. If you can get a reasonable deal at the time of your stay, […] definitely a good choice. The rooms were very clean, service was excellent and the location was near everything. We look forward to going back.

We brought our two kids (15 and 10) for their first trip to NYC. The location was excellent - very close to Broadway/Times Square, but you could avoid crowds if you went the other direction. The hotel decor is cool - the 2 bedroom room was large - with a large closet, a microwave and kitchen sink area with good coffee maker - and the bathroom had a […] t.v., bathtub and separate shower with great pressure. A lamp switch was broken, but they fixed it immediately. The complimentary breakfast was great with cereal, yogurt, fruit, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful. Very happy with this experience. Hotel seems fairly new and is right off Times Square in the middle of the theatre district. Surprisingly, though my window was right over the street with a major theatre, I didn't have any issues with noise. Excellent stay...upon seeing I was with my 7 months pregnant wife, they upgraded us to a slightly larger room and bed...they were all around great the entire time.

I travelled alone and was made to feel welcome and comfortable. The staff were helpful and polite. The room was lovely with a balcony and relatively quiet - even though I was in the centre of N Y. The pearl hotel was beyond my expectations for New York City. This was our first trip to NY and had anticipated a very small room. That was not the case at the pearl and the shower marvelous! Very nice "boutique" hotel in a terrific location. Room was big, clean, and comfortable. Only negative was that the water pressure in the shower was light. The staff was polite and friendly. Great place for kids, with free continental breakfast and walking distance to many, many attractions.

This was our second time in NYC and the first in this hotel. We stayed for 5 nights. Had the best sleep of just about ANY hotel I have ever stayed in and we have stayed in A LOT!! Great location, friendly, helpful staff, high quality finish in our room and one of the best showers I have encountered in a hotel. We were on the second floor, which although […] had no view, had a small outside patio area with seating....this would be great in the right weather. This hotel is not cheap, but I think you would struggle to find better at that money. Free wifi as well. Considering our location it was VERY quiet in the room, which was amazing. Also, check out the free wine and cheese tasting daily. The smallest of issues were: the seating at the breakfast was mainly armchairs and coffee tables with only 2 actual tables, but hey.....this is hard to find anything negative! Lisez la suite

Couldn't fault the hotel or the staff who were all friendly and helpful. Good choice for breakfast in relaxed surroundings. Great location - just a very short walk to Times Square and Central Park 5 minutes away. I would definitely use this hotel again.

I thought I paid too much, but inthe end with the great continental breakfast and being so close to all the subways, I actually saved money. We were near Broadway, Times Square, Central Park, 5th Ave, Rockerfeller Center, Magnolia Bakery we never needed to catch a cab. Our broadway play, Book of Mormons" was 15 steps from our hotel. We ate at EE grill. […] I ordered a steak based on the reviews and was upset our waiter did not bring a steak knife. I proceeded to cut the steak until I could get his attention and the steak was so tender and buttery it sliced perfectly!! No wonder no steak knife. Upon departing instead of calling me a cab, they called me a private car for the same price. Not a big hotel but a lot of personal attention. Definitely going back! Lisez la suite

The Pearl hotel is in the heart of the Broadway Theater district, and just a block or two away from the subway (the 50th St. and Times Square stations). It's an easy walk to the major shopping areas on 5th Ave. and Madison Ave. and convenient to a variety of restaurants, museums and other attractions. My deluxe queen room was large and on the quieter, […] back side of the building, and included a small refrigerator and coffee maker. The room price includes a generous breakfast with cereal, pastries, yoghurt, and fresh fruit. The staff were cheerful and helpful. There are a lot of people strolling past the area outside the hotel day and night and it seems like a pretty safe area. Lovely quiet room,great service from staff, central to everything! Great pick!

After reading other great reviews of the hotel, we booked it, having never been to NYC. My family (including boys age 13 and 9) loved it. Friendly, helpful staff. Appreciated the breakfast -- would've like some hot options (eggs, waffles) but we shouldn't be picky with a free breakfast! Especially loved that the windows opened in our room, allowing […] the city sounds to come into the room, adding to the NYC ambiance. The hotel was a haven to come back to after the hustle and bustle of NYC by day and night. There appears to only be 5-6 rooms per floor, and we never saw (or heard) another soul on our floor! The only "negatives" we had in our experience were 1) concierge told us to expect a $60 cab ride to Newark Airport, and in fact it was over $90! (Not their fault, but my husband was peeved) and 2) the cigarette smoke from passersby on the street often came in when the doors were opened for guests, and it would blow up to the second-floor area where breakfast/happy hour was served. Again, not the hotel's fault. NYC has more smokers than I've ever experienced, and they all stand outside doorways so it's hard to escape the smoke! I can't say enough good things about our experience. Having not been to NYC before, and having kids with us I was very apprehensive about staying in a good quality hotel, convenient and safe, to enhance our vacation, and we were not disappointed! We loved the Pearl! It was clean, very stylish, quiet, romantic, and right in the middle of everything! The staff was courteous and very accomodating. We loved our stay and would absolutely come back!

I have stayed at the Pearl several times and have never been disappointed by the pleasant staff and fine accommodations. It is close to several subway lines, Broadway and restaurants.

I loved the pearl. The room was very spacious and very clean. The bathroom as very modern. Simply put I Loved staying there.
