City Edge Serviced Apartments East Melbourne - East Melbourne

As we were attending an Event near by I found the lighting in the bathroom impossible to put make up on. No other mirrow in room, very dissatisfied. Also no soap holder in the shower, very minor problems but has detirmined we will not stay at City Edge Apartments again. No good to us if we cannot see in the bathroom.

What's not to like. Cheap and cheerful, close to city, Fitzroy, Carlton, Richmond cafe culture, free parking close to room, clean. At first we thought it might be noisy, but by evening it was ok, and we had no problems sleeping. Would definately go back.

The East Melbourne Albert Street apartments are nothing like the photos representing the apartments. They are a relic of the 70s and in desperate need of a revamp. They were filthy; dust around the skirting boards, mould in the shower, a crack in the toilet, cobwebs and dead insects both inside and outside the windows, ants in the bathroom. The apartments […] are not serviced, they are only cleaned on the 7th day of your stay and ours wasn't because, according to the receptionist, 'the laundry service hadn't come'. You thus have to ask for toilet paper and towels when they need replacing and you're expected to take your own rubbish out to the bins. The only positive is their location being so close to town and in a quiet area. But I won't be staying there again the next time I go to Melbourne. Lisez la suite

This apartment block is dreadful. Basic standards are not met. The windows were filthy, the carpet was badly stained, crockery chipped, toilet seat did not stay up, sink plug did not fit so made washing up very difficult, dining facilities we non-existent, no lift, staff were unhelpful and unco-operative. They would not provide on-line check-in facilities […] for our return flight (or any other flight destination for that matter). When asked they said it was not company policy to do this for guests. A very bad experience. We would certainly not recommend this establishment to anyone. The rating of 3.5* needs amending to 0* in our opinion. It was too bad to describe the whole place needs to be refurbished and the staff need to go on basic politeness courses. Lisez la suite

Would not recommend this hotel if you want a quiet stay. When the other guests slam their doors, everyone hears them. There is an advertising sign out the front with a flood light which shines straight into the bedroom of room 1. And you hear the people upstairs stomping around on the floor. Overall, Wouldn't stay there again.

No information pack on arrival - no contact detailsof reception, no indication of where laundry was, no indication of when room would be serviced (it wasn't serviced at all during the 8 days we were there), no indication of how to get replacement towels or toilet paper, no indication of how to dial out using telephone, no indication of how much WiFi […] or telephone calls cost, no indication of how to dispose of rubbish. Vi havde 3 overnatninger på City Edge. Det var OK til vores behov. Når du ankommer skal du være opmærksom på at City Edge har lejligheder i forskellige bygninger spredt på et større område i East Melbourne. Receptionen kan ligge ret langt fra din lejlighed (hvilket kan resultere i en længere gåtur med kufferter osv. hvis man som os ankommer med taxa). […] Det var en OK lejlighed, funktionel indretning og med ældre og lidt slidt køkken/bad. Rengøringsstandarden i lejlighed og opgang var acceptabel men ikke imponerende... Er man frisk på en gåtur kommer man til centrum på ½ times tid hvis man går raskt til. Fitzroy Gardens ligger tæt på. Vil du bo mere centralt bør du overveje et hotel i selve centrum. Lisez la suite

Meget nedslidt hotellejlighed. Hjalp meget hurtigt med at finde en alternativ lejlighed i deres hotel på Elizabeth Street i midtbyen. Den var til gengæld meget fin og kan klart anbefales, - også pga beliggenheden midt i Melbourne

親類の結婚式に出席するため、親子4人で宿泊。検索当時に、私達にとって条件があい一番「お得」なホテルでした。 寝室は２つで、キングサイズベッドの部屋とシングルベッド2台の部屋。シングル２台のほうには全く暖房器具が設置されておらず、とても寒かったです。しかし、エアコンはキング寝室とリビングにありはしましたが、なぜかあまり効きませんでした。 バスルームの床暖房がついたり切れたりな不安定な状態。シャワーブースの上に網戸のみの小さな窓があり、換気が良すぎでビックリ。でも、強力ヒーターが天井付近に設置されているので、意外と寒くはなかったです。 寝具類は、YHレベル。適当にたたまれたクロゼットの中の毛布には、前の人の髪の毛もちらほらついてました。 施設・設備の何もかもが「とてもテキトーな管理」、と […] いう印象でした。 メルボルンのような都会を観光するには、もう少し費用はかかりますがここよりも２～３上のランクのホテルが、結果的には満足できるのではないでしょうか？質もサービスも含めての話です。 日本人の感覚で、あの部屋であの値段は・・・？？ なお、このホテルは、レセプション付近の近隣３～４軒のアパートをホテルとして提供しているようで、レセプションの場所＝宿泊施設とは限らないのでご注意を。私達のように、着いた～ホッ→荷物を全部おろしてレセプションへ→宿泊場所が違うとわかりまた積みなおし→車で移動、と二度手間にならないように。 Lisez la suite
