Fantastic hotel, in the vicinity of good shopping, kanyon shopping only 50 meters fron the hotel. With a short cab ride away is a very good shopping center called istinya mall, with its upmarket shopping labels. Also has many good restaurants like armani cafe and many more. Worth a full day at this mall.

We stayed in istanbul edition for a week, it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The room was very clean and luxury and very well maintained. This was the only hotel that i didn't experience any issues in my whole staying period. This is a very comfortable hotel where high quality materials were used in an understated and tasteful way to create a luxurious environment. The service was great, the spa/ pool facilities lovely (especially loved the snow room after the steam room) and the breakfast buffet, though pricey at around €30 pp, was very high quality and had great variety. […] The waiters at breakfast were especially attentive and kept offering to make us more Turkish coffees, to which we became addicted. My one big complaint with the rooms, and this is something I should have checked up on before going, is that the windows don't open at all. Even with the a/c going full blast I felt like I was suffocating. If this is not an issue for you then you will love this hotel. The huge bed and sofa were extremely comfortable, as was the rain shower. Other (lesser) complaints: I think that in a hotel of this caliber and price point the wifi should be free, both in the room and in the public areas. Here you have to pay wherever you are. Also, the bathrooms have only one sink. I realize that it is difficult to squeeze in a tub and a double sink (the bathrooms are not very large), but I really like to have a double sink. The location is not ideal in that it is quite far north and far from the airport, and traffic in Istanbul can be a nightmare. But we avoided rush hour traffic and taxis are very cheap there, so it was not a problem for us. Also, the subway is right downstairs, though I never used it. Lisez la suite

Efter att checkat in i lobbyn visade oss personalen hotellets faciliteter bl a "where you eat breakfast". Ingenting om att den kostade och inte var inkluderad. Men tonen på han som visade oss lät och uppfattades av oss alla 5 personer som bodde där som om den var gratis vilket det senare inte visade sig var. Frukosten bestod av torrt bröd, tjocka skivor […] kallskuret, en varm frukost avdelning där allt var överkokt och grått. "French toast" låg och soggade till sig riktigt fin i ett ångbad. Trodde inte såna här frukost buffér existerade fortfarande. För denna frukost fick vi betala motsvarande 400kr per person. Jag gick och klagade i receptionen och ingen kompensation fick vi. Hotellet är 5 stjärnigt men frukosten är under all kritik och priset är astronomiskt. Hemsk att sånt här händer. När vi checkade in hittade dom inte vår bokning från hotels.com men efter 15 minuter hittade dom min bokning gjord med expedia. Jättekonstigt och irriterande. Välj ett annat hotell är mitt tips.
