Redmond Inn - Redmond

My girlfriend and I went climbing in Smith Rock for memorial day weekend. We had intended to camp, but saw the weather and booked this hotel. The Redmond Inn is clean and well maintained. Its run by a friendly couple who are both happy to help. Some of the stuff in the hotel is older, but not a big deal, we got a single queen with a full kitchen (microwave, […] full size fridge, sink, and an actual stove) for cheaper than most of the budget hotel chains. Motel 6 wouldn't even have a mini-fridge for what we paid. The free breakfast is pretty simple, but again, its a lot more than I'd get at other budget hotels. Its located right next to safeway, so we able to walk to get groceries. It is on a highway, but we never heard any traffic. This is our first time traveling with our dog, so I've learned in the future to call ahead about pets. Hotels.com says they take pets, but they only have so many rooms for pets. It ended up not being a major issue, but its still good to let them know so you can reserve a pet room. Lisez la suite

We were pleased with our stay at the Redmond Inn. If you were to just look at the outside you might think that it was just "plain jane". However, the inside is nothing fancy but it is clean. So clean that you can actually smell it. Refreshing nights sleep. What more could you ask and the price was so reasonable.

Overall we were pleased with the cleanliness of the room, the pleasant sitting area outside in the back, a fair price and the nice location. However, the one fault was a bed that was way too hard for comfort. Both my wife and I are used to firm beds, but this one was ridiculous.

The curtains were not hung properly so the very high intensity light outside the window lit up the room terribly. Was not able to sleep due to the traffic as well. The floors squeaked! Will try another location next time.

It was okay but could have been a little cleaner. They really need to spray the smoking rooms with Frebreese or something so it is not so bad when you first go in.

We stayed here for one night after driving down from Portland. It is very close to the Redmond airport, which is why we chose to stay here since our flight was leaving early the next morning. We did not have high expectations, but the Redmond Inn turned out to be very clean and a the staff was very helpful. Our TV was not working properly and they offered […] to move us to another room, but also tried to troubleshoot the problem first. The free breakfast the next morning was decent. friendlly, helpful, and very nice hosts. My wife left her purse in the lobby, the clerk on duty called our room and held it for us to come down and get it.

The front desk lady was so friendly and very helpful in answering our questions. Room size was adequate and amenities were nice. The pillows need to be replaced, they are so flat!

You get what you pay for. We had the amenities that we needed, the room was clean, no bugs, no foul odors. This is a very basic Inn. I would recommend this hotel to someone who wanted a clean room and a cheap place to stay. We did not try out the pool.

While not extravagant, I found this place a clean and comfortable rest before climbing at Smith Rock. The bivy is ok, but sometimes you want a real bed, a big TV, and a fridge. Very convenient location, friendly staff, and free breakfast.

The place is a tad run-down, but it is kept nice and clean, and everything in my room was in working order. Free wi-fi was excellent. Continental breakfast was as expected for a budget place (packaged pastry, juice, bagels, so-so coffee). The managers were very nice, and overall I was happy with my brief stay on the way home.

The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. However they are not American so it was not easy to understand them. The Bed was very hard and uncomfortable. We will choose another motel next time for that reason.

The room was clean. The outside appeal was very poor. I would not stay at this hotel again, there was little to make you feel comfortable. The bedspred looked like it had not been cleaned in a long time.

The Redmond Inn was very comfortable and quiet (no noisy neighbors). It's centrally located to everything; shopping, restaurants, etc. We were able to take our little dog along at a very minimal fee. The price was exceptionally reasonable. All-in-all a very nice stay.

Not the best place I've stayed. I guess it's good for a quick over night, passing through town. The bathtub had a whole in it, and the bed was hard as a rock. The room smelled a little odd when I walked in too. It's a cheap place to stay though. You get what you pay for.

A plus for us was the pet frendly status. For $5 more you pet is welcome in your room. Large walking area. Rooms are standard, but updated.
