Hôtel très bien situé pour visiter Hollywood ,parking gratuit,connection internet moyenne dans les chambres meme si elle est gratuite,petit dejeuner compris et copieux,un frigo mais pas de coffre fort.Personnel très sympathique le seul bémol c'est que même les chambres non fumeur sentent le tabac froid sinon dans l ensemble séjours agréable pour 2 à 3 nuits maximum,ah oui petite piscine pour se détendre et ça aussi c'est toujours agréable .

Très bon compromis: qualité/prix, emplacement idéal à 1minutes à pied du Kodak Theatre et à la fois dans une rue calme. Jardin sur le toit très bien aménagé, piscine agréable, petit déjeuner délicieux (mention spéciale aux muffin), chambre grande avec cuisine, parking fermé - Bref ravis de notre séjour (4nuits). Les petits bémols: murs fins car vieux bâtiment et penser à demander une chambre sur cour et pas sur rue (c est quand même Hollywood Boulevard dont on parle : y a de la vie!!). C'était très bien!! Nous sommes arrivés tard et nous avons été très bien accueillis. La chambre était spacieuse, propre et très bien équipée. Vous pouvez demander de la vaisselle à la réception. Le petit-déjeuner est complet et varié. On a même eu le droit à la navette gratuite pour nous rendre à l'agence de location à côté de l'aéroport..... Great !! C'est vrai que le coin n'est pas top, mais il y deux trois endroits pour se restaurer à proximité et nous n'avons pas rencontré de problème particulier. Je recommande cet hôtel

Hotel bien situe dans un quartier bien agreable, sur Colorado Bld, juste en face du Pasadena City College et non loin du CalTech et du Huntington Gardens. Il peut sembler eloigner du Old Pasadena, mais en voiture (indispensable a LA) et sachant que le parking est gratuit de 08:00 a 11:00 tous les matins, c'est facile de s'y rendre. De cet endroit, on peut aisement se rendre a Downtown LA, au Griffith Park et au Dodger Stadium. En ce qui concerne l'hotel en lui-meme, il s'agit d'un motel tout confort (ils ont change tous les televiseurs pendant mon sejour par des ecrans plats), avec en plus, de petits elements de decorations faisant penser a un B&B. De meme le petit dejeuner sans etre copieux et dans un espace un peu limite est plein de petites charmes. Et avec tout ca, le prix est plus qu'attractif. A conseiller fortement sans hesiter.

réceptionniste sympa qui peut vous donner plein d'infos. Hôtel proche du métro "Hollywood/Western" à un arrêt du célèbre Hollywood bld ainsi que de la navette pour le Griffith Observatory. Notre chambre était propore et nous étions au calme. Nous avons également pu manger au calme vers la piscine entourée de verdure.

Ma première impression ne fût pas la bonne : environs pas rassurants, parking de l'hôtel pas avenant...et finalement une bonne surprise! Un accueil très chaleureux, la chambre correcte et l'hôtel est plutôt sympa. On est à 2 pas du griffith park qui permet une vue d'ensemble de la ville et l'observatoir est très sympa à visiter. Le personnel est vraiment […] gentil, toujours prêt à vous aider (ex imprimer pour vous des billets pour les studios universal 5 mn en voiture). L'endroit peut paraître un peu défraîchi au premier abord mais c'est finalement plutôt confortable et moins bruyant que d'autres grâce à la cour fermée. La piscine est un plus appréciable.

"Hotel Coral Sands LA - agréable et bien situé"
J'ai passé 3 nuits au Coral Sands Motel de LA en mars 2012. Une très bonne expérience pour nous ! ACCUEIL : aimable, rapide, efficace. CONFORT : chambre très confortable pour un motel, avec un très grand lit et une pièce assez large pour ranger ses affaires avec une penderie. Salle de bains avec douche évier et WC, pas grande mais fonctionnelle et […] propre. La chambre mériterait un petit rafraîchissement. CALME : hôtel plein et pourtant je n'ai pas vraiment souffert du bruit malgré des portes assez mal isolées. SERVICES : wifi gratuit, salle internet, salle de lavage, vending machine, et surtout jacuzzi et (petite) piscine ouverts de 8h à 21h. PARKING GRATUIT SITUATION : le Coral sands est à deux pas du magjnifique Griffith Park, pratique pour le jogging, pour la visite de l'Observatoire ou les accès aux sites permettant les photos mythiques "devant" le signe HOLLYWOOD. Juste à côté du Motel on trouve un supermarché et un Starbucks Coffee pour le petit déj (non servi dans le motel). EN RESUME : rapport confort/service/prix excellent, je retournerai sans hésiter au Coral et le recommanderai volontiers. Attention, on est quand même à Los Angeles donc tous les quartiers restent TRES éloignés les uns des autres, où qu'on soit logé. Et les transports en commun ne sont pas très pratiques sur place. L'hôtel est sympa avec sa piscine, il y a un grand parking, les chambres sont grandes. Dommage que la salle de bain soit petite et qu'il n'y ait pas de petit déjeuner. Un peu loin quand même de de la partie intéressante de Hollywood boulevard

The people at the hotel are very amiable and quite helpful if you need help figuring out how to get around. The rooms aren't posh digs but it is a very comfortable basic feel that I personally enjoyed. Would stay here again.

very pleasantly surprised for the price we paid when we stayed here. the hotel is in little armenia, right at the intersection of hollywood and western, very convenient for using the subway as there is a station across the road. the walk of fame is 2 or 3 stops away. the rooms were decent and there is 24-hour reception with security buzzers, so the […] motel is very safe. the pool and hot-tub are great, but they close at 9pm. by far, the best thing for us about this motel was the service. the people that work here are fantastic. super helpful and very willing to help out with any requests and answer any questions. there is a supermarket, department store, bank and starbucks literally next door. there is also free parking available at the motel. the rooms are a little on the small side and maybe would benefit from a bit of an upgrade, but for the price it is great value. would not hesitate to stay here again. We loved it. We've stayed at hotels all over from San Clemente to Las Vegas in the last couple weeks. This one isn't modern like a Marriott property but it is so charming! The room was nice, It came with internet. It had a beautiful pool area. The staff was friendly and helpful. Plus it is located right outside the subway which can take you 2 stops […] into the walk of fame area. My wife loved it too. It is an older property...but other than being a little older, like everything is in a big city like LA or NYC it deserves higher than 2 star rating...This is a great value and a great location. "First Time Customer"
Beat up hotel, but the room was good and the shower was fantastic. I loved how a mall was next door with a Raplph's Supermarket and Quiznos, Chinese Food and many other things. Also, the Metro Subway was across the street. It was awesome getting to Hollywood and Universal Studios for two bucks and right at our front door. Staff was nice and security […] was excellent. The location of the hotel was awesome. It was very close to everything including being on the same block as a metro and bus stop. The staff was very helpful and courteous and volunteered to give lots of great tourist information and great printed directions. "Coral Sands - Hollywood for Less"
Most of the hotels in Hollywood are pretty pricey and this motel isn't the cheapest either. However, Coral Sands was exactly what I wanted - a well-kept and conveniently located motel off of Hollywood Blvd. It's literally 2 streets away from the 101 and the downtown Hollywood area. The motel is clearly not new and thus there are signs of wear-and-tear […] in the facility and rooms, but all of the key areas are kept up pretty well (bed, toilet, shower) which was really all I cared about. Just know, it IS a MOTEL, not some fancy hotel and the rooms are pretty small. That said, I didn't go here to stay in my room all day and I did enjoy my stay. We enjoyed our stay. Even though the facility was rather old, the grounds and rooms were clean and well-kept, and the staff graciously helpful. The Coral Sands Motel is safe and convenient to most LA tourist attractions.

"HONEST OWNER, great budget option"
When I left a large amount of cash - essentially our travel fund - in the safe of the hotel room after we checked out, the hotel owner put it in his safe and saved it for us in his personal safe until my cousin could go get the money from him. Every dollar was there, and he went to the hotel from home at night to personally meet my cousin. I could not […] believe how honest and helpful they were! I would not expect that service from any other budget option. In addition to the honesty, it is a very safe hotel. All those who enter have to show IDs and there is a door through which you have to get buzzed to enter near the rooms, which controls partying, etc. While it is not a fancy place, it had everything we needed and was clean. Brian at the front desk was extremely nice; he printed out maps and directions for us, giving us personal tips. It is 1/2 block from the subway and about a mile to the Hollywood tourist locations, so very easy access. They also make sure to always have at least one parking spot per hotel room, so you don't have to worry about parking if you show up late. This is a small, clean, safe, well-run, well-located hotel that I would highly recommend for the budget traveler! Lisez la suite

The room was clean. The bathroom was to small and we are average size people, you just didnt have room to change your clothes without bumping into the sink. We had children I took them to the pool so my husband could shower and change. The beds were uncomfortable they were very hard. Even the kids notice how hard the beds were. The hotel itself is ok... the parking sucks and the beds for super hard but the hotel is clean and close to everything... it was an good stay overall... the hotel is right next to a small shopping complex which was nice (the Chinese food place is HORRIBLE)
