E Hotel Higashi Shinjuku - Tokyo

Je cherchais un hôtel confortable et bien placé pour visiter Tokyo pendant 15 jours. Le E Hotel répond parfaitement à ces critères. Ma chambre était toute petite mais la literie très confortable et la salle de bains hyper fonctionnelle faisaient oublier la taille. Seul bémol, pas de placard, donc il faut vivre avec ses affaires dans la valise ou accrochées […] au 3 porte-manteaux. Point positif : mise à disposition de 2 lave-linge au 3e étage, qui fonctionnent avec des pièces de 100 Yen. Hyper pratique pour ne pas s'encombrer de trop de linge sale (et partir avec peu d'affaires!). Le personnel était vraiment très agréable et serviable. La station de métro Higashi Shinjuku est au pied de l'hôtel (Ligne E et Y, hyper pratiques). Bref, je recommande chaleureusement cet hôtel. Les clients qui ont trouvé l'hôtel bruyant ne sont manifestement pas des parisiens :-) Pour un habitant de Paris, ce n'est pas plus bruyant à Tokyo, au contraire! Hôtel très bien placé, à 10 minutes à pieds de la gare shinjuku. Métro au pied de l'hotel aussi. Chambre petite mais bien étudié, lit confortable. Rue bruyante, il vaux mieux être coté de la petite rue que de la principal. 2 machines à laver séchante, ça dépanne. Hotél sympa pour quelques jours

Situé quasiment au pied du métro et relativement proche de Shinjuku, l'Hotel est très bien situé. Le personnel ne parle pas très bien anglais (mais tout de même mieux que la moyenne des japonais!) mais il est disponible 24h/24h et la qualité du service est vraiment exemplaire ! It was right next to the Higash-Shinjuku Station, fantastic! The staff were nice and helpful. They didn't know a lot of English but went out of their way to help me find the post office and surrounding sights to see. I got a single room, and it was pretty small. I'm a small person so I didn't have a problem with maneuvering myself in the room, but a bigger person may have some issues. The bed was firm, not too hard, the down comforter was comfy and warm, the AC worked perfectly, the TV had a variety of Japanese programs... sadly no English stations. It's been great experience with e hotel except for one of the Japanese reception there, her words doesn't seem trustworthy. I asked her if there's a better way to recieve the free Internet from the hotel. She frat asked me which is my floor, I then told her nine. Her answer was I had to go to the lobby to recieve better Internet connect, and that is […] the only one. Later I found out that the Internet service came from best of floor 11, and also u may ask for a cable from the hotel for a wire connection service. Every night around 2 AM I was awakened by a siren and someone on a megaphone on the street. This made it difficult to overcome jet lag and sleep through the night. Also, the phone in the room could only reach the front desk or other guests in the hotel. You could not use it to dial out of the hotel. The Hotel room should be adequate as long as you don't plan to spend much time in it. There's enough room for a family of four in a twin double, but everyone has to get along. The bathroom facilities are clean and cramped but fully functional - a great introduction to Japanese living! Luggage can be man-handled down, but the steps go a long way. If the weather is fine, you're almost better off just walking from Shinjuku or Shinjuku Sanchome stations. Overall, I was pretty satisfied with my stay at E Hotel. The room is clean, as expected of Japanese hotels. The room is very small though, and there is hardly enough space for my luggage (I stayed in a single room occupied by a double bed). Too comfortable until the fire engine @ ambulance sound also can't disturb us. Clean & big for the twin room. I like this hotel but the frontdesk staffs all look serious and no smiling at all but this is not important for us.

I was looking for a convenient-located, reasonably-priced, clean and hygienic and comfortable place to stay in Tokyo and I'm glad I chose E hotel higashi shinjuku! It's RIGHT outside of exit A1 of higashi shinuku subway station and about 15 mins walk from JR Shinjuku station through Kabukicho. It's in a loud neighborhood but on a quiet corner. The bathroom could be considered a bit small even for just one person. Imagine the bathroom on the plane, with a bath tub in it. But I guess that's the way it is with Tokyo's business hotels. It was clean and comfortable nonetheless. The bed for single room is still queen size and comfortable. The quality of the pillow can be better. Only several basic Japanese channels on TV. The HIgashi E Hotel is a great little place that's close to Shinjuku. The rooms are really small with barely enough space to put your luggage next to the bed, but hey, you're 10 minutes walking distance from Shinjuku and it's priced really competitive to the cheaper dirty motels. The room was small but serviceable, and the location was great. Very close to the Metro, and a short walk to all the sights in Shijuku.

I liked to stay in the hotel. But they should sweep the dust more often, the room was quite dusty. Also the air conditioning was quite dirty and it used to make some weird and really annoying noise during nights.

This hotel a bit small but!! Very convenience it near subway only 8 steps. And have 2 lines of subway hear. Easy to go everywhere. Only 1 station from Shinjuku. Nice place!!

The room is small but clean, and the bed is comfortable. All the facilities are quiet new, great enough for visitors to stay. Two of the staffs who can speak Chinese also help us a lot. The hotel is just next to the subway entrance. There are many convenient stores and one McDonald's nearby. Upside: The higashi-shinjuku station is at the doorstep of the hotel which was great. 24hr convenience store, macs and coffeehouse below the hotel as well. Rooms were decent-sized by japanese standards, very clean, beds and pillows provided were comfortable. Staff were efficient and quite helpful (lending out umbrellas when it was raining and attending […] to our queries/requests promptly). Downside: I would definitely stay in in this hotel again if not for the noise. I read some of the comments about the sirens but went ahead with the hotel thinking it wouldn't be that bad. Despite being on the 13th floor, the blaring sirens came on every 20mins or so from 10pm all through the night and even in the early morning. Also, the hotel did not provide air-conditioning, only heating. When it got stuffy in the room we had to choose between sleeping in the stuffiness or opening the windows for an even noisier sleep (with blaring sirens). Our room at this hotel was TINY, but that's what you get in most Tokyo hotels. And the room size was the only demerit. It was extremely clean, and the staff was helpful and friendly. Stayed 1 night after 4days in Tokyo , upon arrival at lobby, the receptionist & shift manager was very helpful in giving maps and info to go around. Even Googled English version. Staff spoke farely well english, especially the shift manager. The hotel lobby is on the 2nd floor, upon arrival take the lift or the staircase up. On the right hand there is TULLY's COFFEE, "Starbucks" alike for breakfast & leisure. Turn to the right of TULLY"S COFFEE, is a 24x7 convenient shop LAWSON for amenities, where they sell pre-cooked bentos & bun & drinks etc. Further down the road after LAWSON is PAPASU -a shop where you can find japanese household brands, skin care & cosmetics; can spend hours there...happy shopping! North of E-Higashi hotel is SUNROUTE HOTEL as alternate choice if E-Higashi is full occupancy. Very clean and neat room, bathroom too. Queen size bed despite I paid for single occupant. Very little walking space but it was sufficient for 1 person. Pot for heating water & sachet of drinks was given. TV was farely new. 1 small dressing table but no other tables & no woredrob. The hotel is conveniently located near Exit A2 of the Higashi Shinjuku station. We were very pleased by the location. Although the reviews about the ambulance sirens was accurate they can be annoying if you are a light sleeper. They let us drop our luggage off before check in which is nice. Although no early check in. also we couldn't figure out how to use the AC or if it worked at all. The hotel has a good location, near metro station and a nice view from the 13th floor. Check-in time is a little late at 3 pm if you arrive in the morning, but fortunately has a place to keep your suitcases ontil check-in time. Nice staff, but english understanding could be better. For the price it is a good and nice hotel.

I have stayed here twice and find it to be a perfect, affordable and comfortable place to stay in Tokyo. Rooms are small, but give you everything you need. Bathrooms are new and have all the amenities. Free bathroom products are also generous and of good quality. Bot the twin and double rooms had a small LCD tv, slippers, robes and plenty of towels. […] They also had a hot pot for making soup/tea etc. Hotel staff are friendly, speak some English and are happy to help with directions, maps and speaking to taxi drivers (which can be nice if you don't know the city and don't speak Japanese). It is also walking distance to many major subway stations including the busy Shinkuku Station where the Narita Express Trains to/from the airport stop. I will definitely stay here again. 房間一切都很好，就是房間太太太小了，朋友都說比之前到東京住的小。但十分舒適，乾淨，旁邊便是m列車，都很方便！

酒店服務可以的,但奇怪是沒有掛清潔牌在門外也會入來換床舖??!! 另外就是方便程度,因為只近都營大江戶線,如果你去的那個地方要坐JR只有2個CHOOSE,一就是走路15-20分鐘,二便是你要每一次都坐一個站至東宿西口再行5分鐘,第一個站約HKD16.00

酒店之位置正在都營大江戶線之東新宿站旁！ 地點是ok的！ 但房間之冷氣確實是有點過份，風不大，亦不夠凍！ 以致一定要開窗戶來讓空氣流通！ 但一到晩上，警車，電單車，汽車之聲響， 簡直令人無法入睡！ 不開窗又焗得要死，冷氣更不用提！ 如果酒店能正視噪音及冷氣不夠凍的問題！ 我會再入住的，否則還是挑別的酒店吧！

飯店整體很不錯，有會講中文的人員，房間也乾淨，價錢又便宜，而且交通還滿便利，飯店樓下就可以坐公車去池袋或涉谷，真的很棒，下次還是會選擇這間飯店。

Recomendo este hotel para viajantes que pretendem conhecer a cidade e não queiram gastar muito. O hotel é simples, porém limpo e seus móveis são relativamente novos, a localização é ótima pois fica ao lado de uma estação de metro, o único inconveniente é que o quarto é muito pequeno para quem tem muitas malas e está em duas pessoas.

非常方便又划算的一間飯店，房間內有無線/有線網路可使用，相當的便利~而且地點離熱門景點距離相當近，要坐車或是走路都非常方便，如果有朋友要去東京旅遊，我一定會推薦這家飯店!!

O hotel é muito bem localizado, exatamente ao lado de uma estação de metrô, portanto fácil acesso a qualquer parte de Tokyo via metrô. O hotel é bem limpo e a equipe do hotel prestativa (no entanto não são todos que falam bem inglês). No entanto o quarto é muito pequeno, principalmente o banheiro. Tenho 1,90m e havia apenas 4 dedos entre minha cabeça […] e o teto do banheiro. Dizem que tem uma banheira integrada com o chuveiro, mas só cabe um bebê na banheira, nem sentado cabe um adulto. 飯店雖位在車站上，但並非主要的JR山手線，所以需多花一程車資轉車，或是步行。 飯店的房間可說是超迷你，但也樣樣俱全囉！尤其是床真的很好睡。 整體來說，如果想住在車站近的地方，不那麼在乎多轉一次車的話，對於天天買很多東西的人是說很方便。

The room is tiny as expected, but it's suitable for visitors who just need a place to stay. The subway station is NEXT to this hotel. You can assess subway in 10 seconds. I will recommand my friends to stay here.
