Hotel M Chiang Mai - Chiang Mai

Hôtel qui n'a rien d'un 5 étoiles. Mais propre et très bien situé. Surtout ne pas prendre une chambre donnant sur la rue. Privilégié l'arriére court, aucune vue mais au moins pas de bruit. C'est un bon compromis avant de partir faire un treck.

Par rapport au prix que nous avons payé nous avons été agréablement surpris pour un 3 étoiles! Hotel très accueillant, bien placé. Une agence de voyage pouvant vous organiser tout ce que vous désiré.... Je vous le conseil!

The best part of this hotel was the location. It's right in the middle of the fun. If you're looking for the nightlife in Chiang Mai, book this hotel.

The hotel was convenient to the major points of interest, and easy to find. The rooms were ok, a bit dated, but expected. The first room needed some care and maintenance, so the staff quickly found another room. They kept it clean and it was comfortable. What really made the hotel was the staff...very nice and accommodating. However, the hotel's staff […] was clearly outshines by the "contract security officer." Wow!!! I didn't get his name because I don't speak Thai, but he was amazing! He wore gloves and used his whistle to direct traffic. I work for a 5 star intnational hotel, and I would put this gentleman against any employee. He went above and beyond to help "everyone!" he greeted with a smile and a salute everyday! He cared for the elderly and others who passed by the hotel. A true ambassador and hospitality professional. A very unassuming individual with a kind heart! The rooms at the roadside are so noisy that it is impossible to sleep. 24 hours traffic. It is as of you are sleeping in a tuk tuk next to a motorbike. We needed 2 nights rest in the Shangri La Hotel to recover from staying 3 nights in the M Hotel. It is also the worst breakfast I ever had in a Hotel. You should only recommend this hotel to your enemies. […] If you travel on a tight budget rather stay in one of the numerous small guest houses or boutique hotels further down the road. The hotel is located next to Thapae Gate which is a central landmark and all taxi drivers known its location. It is still known as "Montri Hotel" being the previous name, not so much as "Hotel M". It is a convenient stroll from the hotel or taxi ride to all the attractions around Chiang Mai. It is also located at the start of Sunday Walking street, […] a short walk to Night Bazaar, and 5 minute taxi ride to Saturday Walking street. There are also plenty of tour/travel agents around if you want to go on an excursion. Nearby are private laundries that charge from 30 baht/kilo. We had paid on the internet. The hotel did not have the room we paid for. We got a lower standard witout any compensation. Therefore we let the hotel after one night.

Ideally situated if you like markets and cheap eating and drinking. John Place just along the road is a good value pub atmosphere. Try to be there on a Sunday for the walking markets great experience. The 'On street' cooking is excellent.

The hotel faces Tha Pae Gate, and is very convenient. I was impressed with the modern feel of the room and especially bathroom. We were lucky to be on the 4th floor, a friend was on the 2nd floor and the view from his window was cement blocks and cigarette butts...The breakfast is so-so... since great food is all around once you step outside the hotel, […] i would skip breakfast option next time. Great budget hotel just inside the old city gate. good atmosphere in walking street on Sundays but get mountain view room at far end of building- rooms 3/4/5 floor 04 to 10 e.g. 304. Easy walk to night bazaar every other night and Chinatown 15 min walk

The hotel is in a very convenient location right next to the walking street on Sunday. That is a huge plus! Overall, the room is clean. Only downside is the noise from the street. We were also given a smoking room and the smell was quite strong throughout our stay there. We requested for a change of rooms but were told the hotel was fully booked. Nice and clean hotel. Good location.

Central location for all the prime tourist spots (although Tuk-Tuks right outside tend to be more expensive than if you walk through the gate). Room was clean and modern. My only complaint was the bed was a little hard (coming from a person who prefers hard beds); throw a pillowtop on there and it would be great. Also, it would be nice if you could […] open the windows (windows were locked with no screens); I'm not a huge fan of AC and Chiang Mai is cool enough at night to go without it. Reception staffs were very friendly and effiecient. Check in was really swift and pleaseant. The location is the best if you are going for the Sunday night market as it is just on that exact location. The only problem was there was a strange smell in the shower cubicle. But I must say, it is really worth it for budget travellers.

I liked this place so much I actually stayed another 3 nights. Chaing Mai is amazing. Would live here if I spoke Thai. This is right by the Tha Phae gate. (about a 10 min walk to night bazaar). Muito boa a hospedagem com localização excelente ao lado de um dos principais gates da cidade antiga. Solicitamos um quarto no lado mais silencioso e foi tranquilo, sem ruídos noturnos de baladas. A conservação do hotel êh muito boa, limpo e com um café da manha razoável. Os funcionários foram atenciosos e prestativos. Muito bom custo-beneficio.

Gutes Hotel, Service, Zimmer, Frühstück, etc. OK. Leider liegt das Hotel direkt an stark befahrener Strasse.

位置很好，周日夜市的起点。如果你的打算是住快捷酒店，那么这家和对面的imm都可以选择。去到哪里都很方便，只是没有转换插头提供，以及21点之后就没有热水洗澡，淋浴间的地漏似乎工作不顺利导致整个卫生间都是水。临窗的房间由于旁边就是马路，有些朋友的睡眠可能会受到影响，但是我们都可以忍受。每天有2玻璃樽水free提供。下次清迈可能还会入住！

ターペー門の内側にあり必要なものは何でも安く揃う　食事はフロア階のbrixが安くておいしいし、スタッフも親切　駐車場の警備員もいい仕事してます　ツアー会社が一階にありバイクレンタルも格安です　今回走行距離１００kmのhonda新車が一日200バーツでした　部屋は東側が通りに面しているためややうるさい　

地點一流，但浴室熱水有問題，入住3晚，只有一晚有熱水，早上及下午沖涼的話，未試過有熱水供應。另外，沖涼後浴室去水位有問題，一定水浸，除了浴室問題，這間酒店整體還不錯。

O quarto é moderno e bem equipado, mas o quarto possuía uma iluminação escura. O hotel possui boa localização, em frente ao thapae gate, porém o nosso quarto ficava de frente a uma rua movimentada e o barulho dos carros pode ser ouvido dentro do quarto. Tive que usar earplugs até conseguir dormir.

A very helpful reception, with fairly good english language skills. Location at the east gate is perfect for the night market and nightlife, yet calm and away from the noise. Our stay was very comfortable and the price maches quality for every penny.
