Le lit était très confortable, la chambre spacieuse et silencieuse. Pour une petite pause relaxation, un petit jacuzzi et finalemt assez proche de Philadelphie

Nous avions réservé cet hôtel via Hotels.com sans pour autant le connaitre avant. Nous étions très surpris de la qualité de l'établissement ainsi que de la gentillesse et du professionnalisme du staff. Nous ne pouvons que le recommander.

Service très correct. Emplacement idéal pour une halte sur la route entre Philadelphie et Washington DC. Quelques chaînes de restos autour (Five Guys). Calme malgré la route. Pas de petit déjeuner.

"Short Visit"
Arrived at the hotel early Sat. morning just before shift change and the lady at the front desk was very kind, and polite. I requested an early checkin, and a non-smoking and but was assigned to a smoking room. She advised that I could check in at 7am and she would look for a non-smoking. Upon my return I found that she kept her word and found a non-smoking […] room. When I entered the room there was an awful smell, I did my normal inspection of the room. I found that there were no towels at all, and NO shower head. I immediately called the front desk and advised them of the missing items. Towels were brought up in an acceptable time but no maintenance worker with a shower head. Upon returning early Sat evening and still no shower head , I advised the front desk again. They said someone would be up. Sunday arrived and we went out and returned around 4pm. I called the front desk again and said I still did not have a shower head. The maintenance worker arrived without a shower head because the front desk told him that the shower head was broken. (frustrated at this point) The maintenance worker quickly returned with a shower head. Our room was not cleaned until after 4pm Sunday evening. The owners of the hotel need to sell out. They apparently do not know how to run a hotel. Fortunately I have worked in a well know hotel and I am aware of room inspections and what to expect from your hotel. This hotel does not rate more than a 1 just because the heat worked very well and the toilet flushed. With the right, caring owners this could be a four star hotel easily. BE AWARE, BE VERY AWARE IF RESERVING YOUR STAY!!! Lisez la suite
"This place gets BAD reviews for a reason!"
We stayed at this hotel a few years ago and it wasn't bad then, but it sure has gone downhill since! Our keys to the room didn't work, so we had to go back down in the rickety old evevator and get new keys re-programmed. The whole place is old and smelly, hardly anyone working there spoke understandable English, and the king size bed was so hard I was […] sure I was sleeping on concrete. The wifi connection worked maybe 10% of the time in our room, and the Russian (?) guy at the desk couldn't understand what I wanted from him when I called to ask for help with the Internet connection. The continental breakfast was just white bread for toasting, very bland cereal similar to Cheerios and Corn Flakes, dry pre-wrapped blueberry muffins, and warm orange juice. They only had apple jelly; I mean, who offers only apple jelly? The guy from India who was filling the crappy cereal couldn't understand me when I asked for grape or strawberry jelly. Despite its convenient location, we will NEVER stay at this dump again. Lisez la suite
"Better than sleeping on a sidewalk"
This hotel did actually have nice people working there, but it was a dump. My room smelled awful, the AC did seem to have been running for several months. If I had any other options above staying on the street I would have taken it.
"HORRIBLE- NEVER AGAIN"
This hotel seems nice from the pictures but it was horrible. As soon as you walk in it just seems dirty & smells. The people at the front desk were not very friendly. Our room was non-smoking room but had burnt marks all over the floors and huge burns in the comforter. Big stains on the furniture broken lamps. The Bathroom floor was very sticky and […] our shower wouldn't work. We called down and asked about it and I got a rude response back on how to turn on the water, I then repeated that we could turn on the water but the nob was broken and you could not adjust the temperate then I got hung up on. They sent someone up to "Fix" the problem and then after they "Fixed" it we had no cold water just scolding hot water from the shower, sink & toilet. I would never recommend this hotel. Let me start by saying that we booked during Philly's "Penn Relay" weekend.Because of the virtual sellout we were forced to check into this hotel.It's about 15 minutes from downtown Philly. But this hotel is a "DUMP".When we first got there to check in,there was a line of about 10 people on line and only one desk clerk.It was long because the computer […] system was down and everything had to be done by hand.The hotel is in bad shape,the elevator wooden walls were peeling of paint.There spills in the elevator that had not been cleaned up,not even by an housekeeper riding the elevator.The room was just that a room.No decorations at all.There was a fold-down ironing board that was not long enough for pants,no iron at all.The king bed was on the hard side but no blanket on the bed.There was no clock/radio,only one garbage can in the bathroom.You had to get down on your knees to use the fridge which was not plugged in.Bathroom was clean but the whole bathroom needed updateing everywhere.The tub had a bathmat covering a very rusted tub.The paint was peeling everywhere.The tissueholder was empty and there was no soap so bring your own.We saw people complaining because there were no towels in some of the rooms.Housecleaning rides the elevators with their carts with the guests.There are 16 floors and ice machines only on the 2nd and 5th floors.And last but not least,the parking lot smelled of old garbage and sour milk.Never even bothered to check out the continental breakfast just wanted to get out of there.Also the desk clerk refused to issue a final checkout receipt although other hotels I've checked into by way of hotel.com never had a problem.So all and all I would "NOT"recommend this hotel unless you had no real choise. "Horrible"
I wanted a hotel close to Philadelphia and decided to try the Skyview Plaza Hotel. I waited for over half hour to check-in. While watching television, a bedbug appeared roaming the bed. I asked to be switched to another room and got it. After that, I was uncomfortable as I was not sure if the new room had bedbugs too. I also found out from a worker […] at the hotel that I was not the first to complain about bedbugs. Its obvious that the hotel management has not corrected the situation. To add insult to injury, hotel management never apologise for the bedbug situation. In fact, when I complained to the manager, he denied he was the manager. He was very rude and disrespectful too. It was very evident from the conditions at the hotel that next to nothing is invested in its maintenance. Both rooms that I got were smelly and dingy. The furniture was old and dirtly. For the high price of the room, the service and cleanliness of the hotel should be MUCH BETTER. The so-called 'continental breakfast' was cheap supermarket muffins, cheap orange juice, and white bread. I would never stay there again and would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
