Alisios Bavaro - Punta Caña

The staff was friendly and made the experience that much more memorable. The beach is a short walking distance from the hotel. The only thing I did not like was that the water from the faucets seem like its sea water, it's salty! I felt like I was showering in the sea. Wasn't bad for the price. It was close to the beach too. The food was not to my liking, no bacon for breakfast. You had to buy water and use it to brush your teeth as well as drink. The pools were very nice. I would stay again. Only had wi fi in the lobby so folks were there quite a bit. Staff were all nice, most spoke english.

Convenient walk to plenty of places to eat. You don't get the all inclusive stream of food and drinks, but the hotel staff was helpful in making suggestions as to where to eat. I was impressed with Josef who works mostly at night who made arrangements to find us Chinese food at close to 1am. When most of the eateries within walking distance were closing […] up at 11pm. My wife did not like the fact that the hotel or as I understand it the area does not have a water softening plant so she kept complaining that the water smelled like sea water. For me the water was clean enough to take a bath and we used bottled water to brush and rinse our mouths. Overall we still enjoy the hotel for it's proximity no more than 15 min. to major malls, places to eat, and to public transportation if you don't have a car which we did not have. Lisez la suite

The hotel is good. Good cleaning and facilities. No internet. Staff was really nice and close to the beach. Would stay and recommend.

We just returned from a five day stay at the Alisios Bavaro, and were so pleasantly suprised. For the price, the rooms were nice (minimalist island-ish) and the pools were fantastic. We did not participate in the All inclusive (for an extra fee) and found tons of great food options only a short walk away. The restaurant attached to the hotel has yummy […] food (for a decent price) and the French Bakery down the street (which we ate breakfast at every morning) had the best cafe con leche's and donuts. There was also a great beach bar just down the beach with delicious pina colada's. We were worried that since we were not at an all inclusive we wold have few options, but the area is great, and just steps from the beach. Lisez la suite

The hotel was decent for the price that was paid. There were a couple problems encountered: 1. the water was salty. 2. the sheets and towels were changed only upon request. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location of hotel is very good. The beach is very close by and night life is nearby as well. Overall, it was decent for the price.

Hotel Alisios Bavaro El Cortecito Bàvaro ! I must say. its really a beautiful place.It worked perfect for me ,because, I wanted to getaway from a years of working hard.I would rate my one week vacation there to be one of the best ,except, for one thing, (the water in the shower was a bit salt.) other than that,Everything else was 100% .Hope to be there […] again sometime soon. Had a good stay . My only problem is at the entrance door there is a big space which allowed mosquitoes to enter the room. And I have the marks to show. Had to buy some insect spray. Other than that had a good time.

Bien situado, hermosa edificación. Buen servicio en la recepción y en la cocina. Mal servicio en la atención de las habitaciones y el suministro de toallas. Los alrededores tienen agujas estancadas que dan mal olor al sitio. Las habitaciones tienen mal olor.
