Great hotel and service
"Spokane Club"
Hotel has great arrival presence. Did not utilize all the benefits of staying here that it has to offer. Rooms are clean, however dated. As a business traveler I would prefer a nice desk and room to work. The rooms have wore out secretariats. AC didn't function in room. Stayed 3 days.
"Spokane Club-friendly staff & GREAT gym"
I enjoyed a long weekend here with two teenagers-the basketball court, weight room and pool kept them happy. The staff could not have been nicer. Rooms a little small and stuffy but I will stay here every time I'm in Spokane!
We enjoyed this hotel because we usually stay at chain hotels. We were trying something new. We missed the easy ammenities of an ice machine and soda machine, but I do not think this type of hotel is all about. The king size bed was huge and comfortable but we would have liked some more up to date pillows with better support. The room was clean but […] we could tell that the carpet has seen quite a bit of traffic. We parked our car in the garage up the street and were surprised to find out that this was an extra amount of money at checkout. "the spokane club, spokane, washington"
the hotel good in general, though, the front desk staff were grouchy or derogatory or something?! the guy stared at us like we were in the wrong place when we arrived, then following check in, told us we had to park in the parkade 2 blocks away, for quite a lot of money / night!!! ya right!!! so, we were offered the club members parking rate... that […] was still pretty high. our first room was really musty, and the bed was as bouncy and soft, you could picture it on National Lampoon's Vacation, as a bed you put a coin into and feel it vibrate and bounce around for kicks. they were kind enough to move us to another room. the breakfast was awesome in Burgundy's Restaurant. the location was great too, nice and close to everything you need downtown... movies, restaurants, books stores, mall, the park.... it was great.... though, i think the St.Patrick's Day rowdies on Saturday night, requiring emergency services, showed us how loud that street, as a main access point from out of downtown across the Munro St Bridge... sirens all night were going past!! oh, and check your bill at the end, we were over charged for parking and tips for the restaurant! i would give the whole experience at the Spokane Club a 6.5/10 ... it wasn't so bad.. but, kind of a run of the mill hotel experience. enjoy!!! "Friendly folks and funky rooms"
This was a unique hotel for me. It really is a club. There is a health club attached to it and evidence of member perks all over (e.g., member wine lockers outside of the restaurant). It was definitely built in a different time, so think smaller rooms and funky fixtures, but nicely kept. It's an easy walk to much of the downtown and river park. The […] people were great, too. When I asked if we could get a quieter room (we have a toddler and there was a wedding in the place that night) they bumped us up to a corner suite so we could have some piece and quiet. "In Spokane for Work"
I travel to the Spokane area for work every three months and have been doing so for the past 8 years. This the first time I stayed at the Spokane Club Inn. While the location was great (close proximity to downtown), it wasn't the easiest to get to do due to a mish-mash of one way streets. The hotel staff was generally very attentive and helpful although […] they failed to inform me of the extra charge for the parking garage. They did, however, amend my final bill when I pointed this out. And their parking garage is located nearly two blocks from the hotel entrance. Given the winter weather, this turned out to be quite an issue. The rooms where comfortable although a bit dated as where the bathrooms. However, the discovery that there was a Keurig coffee maker and a mini-frig in my room made up for a lot. The room service food was a 7 out of 10 but the delivery of the food was incredibly fast and the staff at the restaurant was always incredibly kind and friendly. Lisez la suite
