Almost great except a few inconveniences that, if dealt with, would make this stay excellent. Loved my little condo at the Island Seas (its new name). Had a one-bedroom condo with kitchen, living room and dining room. AC worked well and had a good selection of TV channels. Also came with a DVD player. Restaurant onsite so you don't have to go far for food; same goes for the bar. Gym, pool, tennis courts; lots of awesome amenities. Plenty of […] people onsite who can help you book excursions. The location was a bit off the beaten path, but if you're looking for some place quiet and secluded this was perfect. Private beach with lawn chairs and beach towels was included in the stay. No other hotels in the same strip of beach. The main shopping area which has a casino is a ten-minute drive from the hotel, and Island Seas offers a shuttle multiple times during the day. Would definitely stay here again. Lisez la suite

This hotel is called sea grove villa. We panicked when we couldn't find island palm marina villa. Nobody had heard of it. Lucky we just stopped at the sea grove villa to ask for directions. This hotel does not exist anymore--it is now part of and is called Island Seas Resort (on the same property). Rooms were great--stayed on Marina side. No salt/pepper or any kind of condiments in room, and no coffee filters. Decent amount of cooking utensils, pots, pans, mixing bowls, etc. Lots of Security passing by frequently. The bar was fairly expensive (more than $6 per drink) and did not free-pour their drinks like most other places on the island. The pool is nice, but not heated--the ocean is warmer! Great beach and you don't have to rent or reserve chairs. Before you even check in they will try to get you to attend a time-share presentation with the promise of free activities. There are lots of activities on site to do if you want, and plenty of local fisherman around to sell you fresh lobster or snapper. I visit this hotel on a yearly basis. I find it to be very comfortable and affordable. I rooms are large and spacious and very well laid out. I find the rooms on the canal side are very quiet and relaxing. Very well patrolled by Security which gives people that safe feeling. This is a sister hotel to Island Seas - for a few dollars less walk across the street - the exercise is good for you. Units are large and overlook water/canal - nice and quiet! Use of all amenaties at Island Seas - beach, pool, bar, restaurants and transportation to Port Lucaya. Great place!

I found the staff. very nice and helpful. room was clean and cleaned every day. The pool was also clean and great to lounge at after day of fishing. will return again.

The hotel itself is decent, but nothing to write home about. Parts are in disrepair, and there is a dirt lot filled with junk next to the resort. The hotel seems to only be interested in doing whatever it takes to get by, nothing more. This applies to their facilities and the attitudes of their employees. The beach is very small and they make you sign […] out towels. The resort is not located near anything of interest, so you must take a taxi or the hotel shuttle to go elsewhere. Due to the number of canals and dead-end roads, it is not practical to walk anywhere. The shuttle is the largest deficiency but the easiest thing that could be improved. The shuttle only runs back and forth between Port Lucaya and the hotel, and only between 9:30am and 6:30pm. Therefore, you must find other transportation if you want to get dinner in town, get to the marina early for boating/diving, or visit any other part of the island. Also, they do not let you take any luggage or large bags on the shuttle, even when there is no one else on it. Because of its less-than-ideal location, this hotel needs to improve some of its services if it wants to compete with other more convenient resorts. Lisez la suite
