Really enjoyed Kaunus, beautiful city. The hotel was a 20 minutes walk to the old city but what a beautiful walk as it brings you through the new city into the old town. the airport bus drops you off outside hotel and picks you up right outside so brilliant. Personnel was really helpful and answered to all of my questions without a hint of annoyance. As an example, my girlfriend lost her passport the very first day of the trip and the receptionist helped us to contact the airport's information where it was found. And they seemed genuinely happy for us. Regarding Ibis Kaunas Centre, it was very clean and […] everything was new. It's next to bus stop, bus station and train station which was quite convenient. "Weekend stay"
New hotel and ok for the price. Clean rooms(little minus that someone had been smoking in nonsmoking room). Breakfast is ok, but nothing special. Firealarm broke out in the morning, you barely could hear it inside the room and also some fire exits were locked(!!) and instructions are given only in lithuanian!!Avis véridique Hotels.com

The hotel is nicely situated next to the bus station so you can take buses and coaches to most parts of the country. many of the trolley buses which serve the city also stop outside the hotel. From the airport the No. 29 bus takes you right to the hotel. Everything was very clean and new as it has only been open a few months. Hotel reception staff were […] always very friendly and willing to help in all matters. Breakfast was good able to have plenty but was the same menu each day. Food in the evening was rather limited but 10 minutes walk away is a large shopping centre with plenty of choice and open till late.I would have no hesitation in recommending the Hotel Ibis and would like to stop there again. "no frills no fuss"
Hotel is minimalistic and would be best for business travellers or overnight stays. Room has hard wood floors and large shower but no bath. I really miss the little things like tea and coffee or bottled water in the room, but you get what you pay before. It is located close to the train and bus station so getting to the airport or other destinations […] is not an issue. This hotel is only two star but you would never know, it is superbly located and very cheap for the quality of service it provides. Rooms are spotlessly clean and amazingly soundproofed, you hear no noise at all. It has great secure free parking and right opposite a peacful park with a beautiful church and mosque at either end. It is less than 5 minutes […] from the train station and is next door to the main bus station and tram route, not noisy, so do not let this put you off. There is a fabulous restraunt on the opposite side of the road at number 19-21 four people can eat well and have a round of drinks for under 15 pounds, vegetarians are catered for. "Loistava hinta-laatusuhde!"
Vietimme ibis Kaunas Centerissä kolme yötä syyslomallamme lokakuussa. Kohdallemme sattui loistava tarjous, mutta hinta-laatusuhde olisi ollut kohdallaan korkeammillakin hinnoilla. Hotelli on aivan uusi ja jo sen myötä erittäin siistissä kunnossa. Huone oli pienehkö, mutta ainakin meille aivan riittävä. Sänky hyvä, toimivat pimennysverhot, hyvä ääneneristys […] (esim. viereisen linja-autoaseman äänet eivät häirinneet lainkaan). Hieman kylmä huoneessa oli, mutta pulma korjaantui laittamalla ilmastointi yöksi pois päältä. Aamupala oli myös hyvä: kahvia, teetä, mehuja, leipäpuolta, hedelmäsalaattia, jugurttia ja mysliä/muroja, munakasta ja makkaraa.. Hieman matkaa kävelykadulle ja etenkin vanhaan kaupunkiin (kävelykadun toisessa päässä), mutta mikäs lomalla kävellessä ja maisemia katsellessa. (Bussillakin olisi halutessaan päässyt.) Loistava ostoskeskus Akropolis sen sijaan oli kivenheiton päässä (shoppailumatkailijat, huomio..). Toki myös linja-autoaseman läheisyys plussaa. Saavuimme myöhään ja hotellin respa järjesti syötävää. Hotellin henkilökunta on kielitaitoisia ja aina hymyssä-suin apuna jos jotain tarvitsee. Hotellin sijainti erinomainen, vieressä bussi-asema ja lähellä juna-asema. Ostoskeskus Akropolis kävelymatkan päässä. "Nice and tidy hotel downtown Kaunas"
We were just passing thru and hopped off the highway to travel elsewhere, arrived late and left early. We had two dogs with us and even though we arrived so late that all restaurants were closed, we got just about everything from nice and agile staff as roomservice. Hotel is located downtown Kaunas right next bus station so it is very reachable, breakfast […] was good and the rooms equipped properly and kept very clean. We recommend this place to everyone.
