thr breakfast was great. location was a good distance from legoland. everything was great. my only thing was the room carpet was a bit sticky in our room. we would still book it everytime we're in the area.

Overall, the hotel was nice, clean, and the staff was courteous. The breakfast provided was more than what was expected. The only drawback was that the location is a ways from the interstate. But, at the end of the day, they met all my needs. Thumbs up.

Hotel is new, so yes its clean. Staff is friendly too. If you are a breakfast person I would advice you go early to the breakfast area because if you go at busy time you will not only have enough coffee or any other food you will also stand in big line. But other than that yes the hotels is great!

Absolutely great hotel. We had no issues what so ever during our 4 night stay while visiting Legoland and the Field of Flowers. Exceptional in every way, the rooms, the buffet, staff, free parking, free shuttle to Legoland, free wifi and internet. We felt so comfortable here and welcome. I was told each room had itd own microwave. Little to my disappointment. When we brought our left overs with us. There wasnt. The dining room food was almost uneatable. No outlet for hair dryer also. Unless u wanted the cord in the sink. Overall a nice stay. But could have been a lot better.

I have never stayed at this hotel before but I will from now on when I am in the area for business. The staff was super friendly and they were constantly cleaning. Usually workout rooms have dated equipment but not this hotel. They had two treadmills that were the top on the line. The room was very comfortable with a great big screen TV.

I stayed for business in Vista. The parking was free and plentiful. The lobby was clean and modern. They even have a kind of small bar that stays open until 11pm. I booked via Hotels.com and was traveling with two small children. On the website, it showed a room with 2 queen beds and a small sitting area. I called the hotel to find out if my room would include the 2 beds and the sitting area and was told... YES. I called on the day of arrival to let them know I would be arriving late and they said I had a King […] bed with a sitting area. I told the guy that wasnt the case and he PROMISED me that I would have the 2 queen beds with a sitting area. Upon my arrival... every promise made was broken. I was given a 1 queen room with a sofabed... NOT AT ALL comfortable for me or the kids. When I asked to have the Manager/Hotel Director call me... I was promised... but never delivered. This is a great place to stay for comfort, connectivity, and rest. I've stayed at this hotel three times in the last 10 months and always leave a satisfied customer. We got the king room with sofa sleeper and it was great. New, modern room with lots of storage. Very clean. No tub just a shower so it might be difficult if you have a baby that can't fit in sink or stand up to shower. The hotel staff was very friendly. The breakfast had everything we needed and tasted fine. Perfect for our Legoland trip.

I love the Hyatt Place hotels. Really nice rooms and lots of extras. Staff is always really nice. Love the free wifi in room and Internet access in the business center. Decor is really nice and the extra hide-a-bed comes in handy. The location on this one wasn't near much, but a short drive to everything vacationers would want. Free parking, too.

We had a good time staying here. It is a new hotel so everything in the room was clean/new condition. They gave me the option to pick my room and since my children could be quite noisy, I chose a room away from other "neighbors." The boys had fun in the heated pool while I went shopping at the Carlsbad premium outlets about 4 miles away. Our stay has always been nice. We stay in this hotel at least 4-6 times a year. This time, our room was quite a ways from the elevator which should be very quiet. However, there was a hockey team staying in the hotel. On the second floor where we stayed, they were opening and closing the doors, talking in the hallway at 2 a.m. in the morning which was […] not entirely the fault of the hotel, although, the doors could be fixed with better springs so that they would not bang as loud as they do. I would like to suggest that the hotel fix the door springs to keep the doors from banging loudly in the middle of the night allowing guests a peaceful sleep which is what a hotel is all about. Our family of four stayed in a king room; the kids slept on the sofa-bed. We had plenty of room and the L-shaped layout provided some degree of privacy. Front desk offered us free rental of arm floats for the kids to use in the heated pool. The staff were helpful and personable. I went to lobby and ordered a pizza at 9 pm, they offered to bring it up to me when it was ready! Breakfast was great, we stayed for 3 nights and ate at different times each morning. There was never a scramble to get food before it's gone--like you find at most places that offer free breakfasts. Orange juice, apple juice, Starbucks coffee, tea, milk, fresh fruit, oatmeal, pastries, breakfast sandwiches, cereals, waffles, and much more! Room was clean and comfortable, helpful housekeeping staff, refrigerator and one-cup coffee maker; just wish there was a microwave. Location feels like you're staying in an upscale neighborhood, it's quite and well-maintained. Conveniently close to Albertson's, Costco, gas stations, and restaurants. Beach is only 10 minutes drive away and Legoland about 15 minute drive. Free parking, free breakfast, free in-room wifi; clean, well-maintained rooms; nice, quite, neighborhood; helpful and polite staff; close to beach and Legoland. Great choice for a family trip! Nice, new hotel, quiet, fairly priced, $30 a night less than other nearby hotels. Small pool. Free local shuttle takes you to Legoland, shopping within 6 miles.
