"Seeing the sights in DC"
True it takes a little longer to get down town DC to see everything but the price that I got on line for a place this nice made it well worth it. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Their full hot breakfast (even made to order omelets) was included. I especially liked that they offered free parking. The hotel was in a nice area with shopping and […] restaurants close by. My stay here was one of the reasons I love hotels.com. This hotel is very new and I got a terrific deal. I stayed here for one night before a day in DC. The place is very clean, quiet, and has friendly staff. My room was comfortable and much larger than the average hotel room. The location was very close to the highway. Finding the hotel was easy but […] the parking situation is kind of odd. You wont find signs where to park, the staff said for some reason the city wont allow it. There is a parking garage behind the hotel and you need to park on the 2nd floor and up. The first level is reserved, but again no signs. This hotel was a pleasant surprise - stylish and modern and in a good area.Nice breakfast, and the staff was helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Not sure if all the rooms have these, but ours had a little kitchenette with a full size fridge, microwave, toaster, even a little cooktop and dishes as well. The only con was finding the hotel. The address […] or the alternate address on the hotel website does not come up on the GPS, so be prepared. But overall, the hotel was great. I would definitely stay again. "Clean modern hotel with free street parking!"
This hotel is new as the images from Google Maps still show it being constructed. The room I had on the 2nd floor had a lot of natural lighting which was nice. The room also had a full kitchen with stove, microwave, oven, refrigerator and dishwasher. It also was stocked with silverware and plates, bowls and things you would need to prep and cook meals […] in the room. The furniture was all new looking, clean and comfortable. If you are going to be staying the Falls Church/Merrifield/Arlington areas this is a nice hotel for both business travelers and families. The complimentary breakfast was open until 10am on Saturday and had decent food, the coffee was good too. The hotel has a parking garage across the street but there are also about 10 parking spaces on the street directly east of the hotel where parking is free if you can snag one of those spots. There is a large Target store on this street. The Dunn-Loring metro station is only about a 15 minute walk but you have to cross Lee Highway to walk there. It's is only a 5 min drive to Dunn-Loring.
