"Chambre sympa mais peut mieux faire"
Un peu déçu de cet hotel qui paraissait très bien évalué sur la plupart des sites... Chambre simple, assez petite, déco sympa, vieille tv. Le pire ce sont les toilettes qui se bouchent à la moindre occasion, c'est délicat de demander à répétition à la femme de ménage de faire qqch contre ça... "Séjour agréable"
Hotel trés bien situé à 2 minutes à pied de union square et des transports en commun. Notre chambre été très confortable. seul bémols les fenêtres ne sont pas double vitrage donc on entends le bruit dans la rue mais rien de bien gênant, pour mon cas on été au 5éme étage.Avis véridique Hotels.com

"Very conveniently located"
The first impressions are not great - the carpets in the elevator look dirty and worn. However the beds are extremely comfortable, and while old fashioned, the rooms are clean and reasonably well appointed. Overwhelmingly friendly staff. A traditional comfortable hotel. Plumbing in bathroom is a bit outdated, but perfectly in keeping with the traditional style. The room was nice, pleasant, clean BUT to call it 'royal queen room' is not really the correct term for it..... More like renovated medium size room..... I doubt any Royal family would stay there , mostly more for their staff and personel !!!!! I stayed one night for business and was very pleased by the hotel. The staff are very pleasant and caring and the room is very clean, although it's an aged hotel. Greeted very warmly when checking in. Room was very clean and comfortable. My only negatives had to do with the window being single panes. Allowed for much of the ambient city noise to be heard. Not a giant Westin st. Francis, but across the street, literally. Great location on Union Square, but at a more reasonable price. I go to San Francisco often for cultural events, and I've stayed at many of the boutique hotels around Union Square, because of its central location and the excellent shopping and restaurants. I can say that the Kensington Park is one of the most charming and delightful hotels I have ever stayed at in San Francisco. The staff is A+ and the building […] itself is a real delight with a theater inside and the excellent Farallon Restaurant with some of San Francisco's best seafood right in the building. My room was spacious, for the small San Francisco boutique hotels and the delightful "old" gold plumbing in the bathroom was charming. We weren't planning to stay in our room too much since we were in town for one night. Overall, the hotel is fine for the right rate.
