Chambre spacieuse et confortable, loin du centre et de la promenade des anglais mais à 10 minutes avec le tram, le personnel est aimable et professionnel, j'ai passé un agréable séjour avec les enfants surtout que le prix promo et gratuit pour les enfants est plus que correct. Bon séjour à l'hôtel Novotel Nice.Cependant, il est regrettable que le personnel du petit déjeuner soit si mal organisé et pas très agréable... Un effort sur la propreté doit aussi être fait dans la salle du petit déjeuner. En revanche, nous avons bien apprécié la chambre et le personnel très agréable et serviable à l'accueil de l'hôtel.

.....très bel hôtel , les petits-dejs sont très copieux !!...très bien situes à proximité de la patinoire et piscine de Nice ...et du tramway ... .Le seul point négatif le parking un peu cher 20 euros pour une nuit !!

nous avons passé un séjour parfait dans cet hotel que nous recommandons fortement (propreté, personnel, piscine, repas...). petit déjeuner copieux et varié et possibilité de bien manger midi et soir au restaurant de l'hotel à un prix correct. Nous avons résidez à 3 dans une chambre du premier étage et très sincèrement j'ai été agréablement surpris par la qualité des prestations. Les chambres étaient propres et spacieuses, on a même le droit au ptit coin boissons chaudes. Le petit déjeuner était bon, il y en a pour tout les goût et le personnel et très sympa et efficace. Quant à la location, […] il faut compter 20 minutes à pied pr aller à la plage, et 15 minutes pour aller au Vieux Nice. Si vous n'aimez pas marcher, il y a un arrêt de tram à 2 pas de l'hôtel (l'arrêt s'appelle palais des exposition). Quant à la piscine conforme à la description, petite mais sympa ! A nice clean hotel located towards the top end of town. It may not have the views offered by the hotels on the Promenade des Anglais but it is better priced and still offers a good 4 star level of service. All the staff at the reception were absolutely brilliant, super friendly and very helpful. We had a superior room which was simple, clean and comfortable. […] The room also had plenty of storage space for clothes, etc. The only annoying thing about the room was the toilet was located separate from the bathroom which was a bit of a pain and pointless considering how easy it would be to incorporate the two which are side by side. The hotel is located in front of the exhibition centre which is a about 30 minutes walk from the sea front but it is literally a two minute walk from the nearest tram station connecting you to all the major sites within Nice (a bus & tram day pass is just 4 euro). There is also a train station called Nice Riquier about 15 minutes walk away which will take you into Cannes, Monaco and other destinations. Breakfast is typical continental style with all the usual trimmings served in the restaurant. The only slight disappointment with the breakfast was that each day the hot water for the tea was almost always empty and other hot drinks served from the machine would run out and never be refilled. We did not use the restaurant but we did use the bar which was nice and comfortable and quiet. A good hotel to stay in and would definitely recommend. Lisez la suite

Hotel staff was helpful and courteous. Gave great tips for using the public transit system there (day pass is just 4 euros and can be used on trams as well as buses to the airport ... taxis to the airport are 31 - 35 euros). Housekeeping staff cleaned the rooms very well. The hotel was adjacent the exhibition hall, 1000 feet from the convention center, […] and across the road from a sports complex where international sporting events were being held while we were there. It is also very close to the tram... just several stops from the "old city" where you can walk through the vegetable and flower markets, eat at one of the many restaurants and visit historical churches, local shops and government buildings. I'm familiar with Nice so I was happy to book this hotel, even though it is located some distance from the sea front. The hotel is close to the main tram and bus routes and a 5 minute walk to Riquier rail station, which makes sighteesing very easy. The hotel and its amenities are standard and not extraordinary, but staff were friendly, reception staff (Candice) helpful on arrival, the room was clean and we always had fresh towels, and in general Novotel's have comfortable mattresses. I requested a room on a high floor, which we had and it was always serviced while we were out for the day. The […] housekeepers on the floor we very friendly. On our 5 night stay, we chose to stay in one night and enjoy a take-away pizza, which enjoying a wine bought during the day and the restaurant staff kindly offered us some wine glasses. The pool area on the deck in nice, yet again nothing special, but we did enjoy spending the afternoons in the sun up there. We always got a sun lounger, but I am sure it was because the hotel wasn't too busy. The cold breakfast selection was very good; just sadly the "egg concept" does not work. Guests can boil their own eggs, however on neither of the 5 mornings that we enjoyed breakfast, this has worked. Either there was not sufficient water in the boiler, or it was luke warm; whereas on another occasion, all egg holders were floating in the water, or other guests taking the eggs that you were trying to boil. Unfortunately no fried eggs were available, just scrambled egg, which was sadly not very good either. However the selection of breads and other items on the buffet were great! Lisez la suite

Good base for people who are able bodied, 10 min walk brings you to Garibaldi square at edge of old town. Tram route at back of hotel and across the street which offers cheap and excellent access to rest of city. Hotel staff helpful and friendly. Did not eat at hotel so cannot comment. Only negative was that number of tea/coffee/milk satchets in room obviously rationed. Receptionist very reluctant to give more and actually said you were limited to how many. Restocked from breakfast buffet. Gentleman in charge of breakfast buffet superb - nothing too much trouble. Location ideal for old town and trams.

It is adequate but no more than that. The carpets in our room were very tired and needed a proper hoover. The pool also needed more regular cleaning. The front desk staff were helpful and spoke very good english. It's fair walk down to the promenade from the hotel but there are regular trams which leave from near to the hotel. Room was spacious and clean. Rooftop pool was good but usually hard to get a spot round but hotel was fully booked while we were there. Initially we had a problem with our air conditioning but this was promptly dealt with when we reported it. Reception area and restaurant were pleasant. We used the hotel as a base to tour from using public transport […] systems which it was brilliant for, having a tram stop very close and train station 10 minutes walk (Riquier) also the bus stop for the airpot bus (also Riquier) was only 10 -15 minutes walk. Excellent hotel for us with the location being ideal for both the tram and rail travel. Took breakfast on 2 mornings which was really good. Free internet was excellent and reception was always helpful and informative. We would certainly stay at this hotel again, hopefully next year.

The hotel is faily new and the breakfast was excellent especially the fresh squeezed oraneg juice. Getting to Nice downtown was only 15 minutes ride from the train and getting to the train stop from hotel was only 5 minutes walk.

Breakfast was never fun, always over priced. Frequently running out of tea, milk, hot water, bread, cheese....should I go on? Very noisy & very busy. Close to tram lines, bonus. Our room was right next to the cleaning ladies station, very noisy, very early. Vents in our room were filthy & there is nothing superior about the superior rooms. We had a […] double bed & a double sofa bed meaning you couldnt move around the room, too small for a family of 4. Last minute booking and initially concerned it would be too far from Old Town etc, but actually only 25 mins walk or 3 stops on brilliant tram, which also takes you to train station if you want to explore along the coast. The room we were first given was a bit pokey, with very little storage and as we were staying a week we asked for something bigger. […] This was done immediately with good grace.Second room was fine. Not sure why the hotel is considered 4 star when all I found it useful for was an average but large, clean place to sleep but not much else extra. The location is a 10-15 minute walk from the old town. The trams and bus were only 1 euro, even to Monaco and Cannes! A tram with all the bus connections is a 2 minute walk and there are numerous bus lines […] on every street surrounding the hotel. The front staff did their best to help with the tram/bus system but it was hit and miss as to their level of expertise about tourist information. For instance, it is just one bus ride to the Matisse and Archeology Museum and the stop is a block away but the front desk had no clue where the stop was located. The breakfast for 15 euros was over priced. We went to a bakery/cafe at the tram stop instead. One night we ate the appetizer buffet for 9 euros in the restaurant and found it average but the price was right. Lisez la suite

One of the determining factors for choosing this hotel was that it stated that I would receive free shuttle to the air port. However when I got to the air port the driver charged me 47.5 euros for the trip. I had paid a taxi 15 for the ride to the hotel. There was little I could do about the complaint since I had already left the hotel and received […] the service. We came back to our room after a day at the beach and found an open pkg of open meat in our min bar. We contacted the front desk as of course we were very upset and thought someone had been in our room. They sent a maid up to pick up the meat and assured us that the hotel manager would call us. We checked into the hotel late on a Saturday night - the receptionist couldn't have been anymore friendly, helpful and overjoyed to see us. I'd asked for a quiet room and was given one at the side with a brilliant view of the surrounding hills. My son loved the outside pool and was often the only one swimming in it. Convenient for catching a tram and getting to the local bus stops this hotel is a little distanceto walk to and from the beach but it's situated near to a main street with a Spar and some fantastic fruit and veg shops to compensate. Having worked in the hotel industry in the past I'm accustomed to how things work and couldn't be more pleased with my whole stay... hope to stay again in the future Lisez la suite

We wanted a comfortable but inexpensive base from which we could explore Nice. This fit the bill exactly. As part of a hotel chain, it is not exactly pretty or filled with French charm but it was clean, it has a pool, pleasant staff, baggage storage for day of check out, decent sized room and powerful shower in modern bathroom. We couldn't ask for more […] at that price. Getting around Nice from here is simple - buy a daily pass for €4 from the machine at the tram stop (2 minute walk from hotel, if that) and you're good to use the buses and trams all day. The trams are VERY frequent during the day and about every 20 minutes late in the evening. The Old Town is just 3 stops away. If you are travelling to Nice airport, the €4 pass also covers the cost of the bus to the airport. You could also walk into the main part of Nice from the hotel - it takes about 20 minutes. The Novotel Nice centre is located only 10 minutes walking time to the old town. You can get a tram but it is only 2 stops and they get very crowded. Staff here are excellent. Very friendly and speak good English. Rooms are good size. Great power shower, separate toilet, comfortable bed but terribly uncormfortable pillows. I actually had to wait in line to complain. Rooms had poor a/c, food was really overpriced and I would have rather paid for Internet because the free Internet was slower than dial up. The real odd part is the bathroom.
