Great Business Hotel
Very nice hotel, very good for international business travel. A little bit on the expensive side considering it is Santiago.

Décevant
Dissatisfied stay
When I got to the hotel, they asked me to pay an additional 50 USD, per day for breakfast and for a more comfortable room. I paid it. They indicated breakfast was served st the 7th floor. This was a small room with very limited amount food. The food here was cold, and unatended. The ad one day, another guess stated that there was actually a restaurant where breakfast was served every morning, not the small area I was advised. At the restaurant, there was a larger selection but not any better. Everything was cold, and no help around. The bed had very dirty comforter, with a stain that look like the previous guess had an accident in bed and they just reversed the conforter so It will not be noticebled. Not a good hotel!

Great location
Nice hotel in great location. But, not up to standards of Sheratons. Furniture a little shabby in places. Service a little slow, but still a great place to stay.

Loved my stay
Everywhere I went, staff was attentive, courteous and eager to assist if I asked. They were all quick and efficient and spoke fluent English. The decor of the hotel was beautiful there were many things to do to entertain myself. The only thing slightly negative was the faint whizz from the highway in front of the hotel. Stayed on the 7th floor with a beautiful view of the Andes and city. Perhaps ask for a room on a hire level.

Bad experience-sewage water and smell in bathroom
My wife and I stayed at the Sheraton for two nights at the tail end of a South American trip. We had a uniquely bad experience, so this is unlikely to occur for most guests, but it's worth mentioning. Our bad experience was due to a drainage problem in our hotel room bathroom. There is a drain on the bathroom floor, separate from the shower drain, probably for any overflow water. We came back from being out all day to find standing sewage water on the bathroom floor and a very strong sewage smell in our room. It was disgusting and the smell had gotten onto our clothes in the room. The hotel moved us to another room right away and sent someone with a luggage cart to help with our bags. However, after an hour in the second room, we had the same sewage smell problem as the first. We had the hotel maintenance staff visit us both times to try and fix the problem, but there was nothing they could do. After moving into the second room, There were no other rooms to move into, so we had to deal with the smell during our stay. We asked several members of the hotel staff if this happens frequently and they said yes, which was really the most disappointing part of it, that the issue wasn't being addressed. The rest of the hotel amenities are nice - there's a very nice pool area, the restaurant had a nice breakfast buffet and the rooms were clean and modern otherwise.
