Hotel didnât have a sign. Property needs a lot of work. Not sure if itâs new ownership and rebuilding or just letting it run down. On the other hand I slept really well.
This hotel was disgusting. I am a previous hotel own and landlord. I would never let anyone be expected to stay in that filth. If we hadnât driven so late and werenât exhausted we would have left. It was 10:30 pm and we had been driving 10 hours. They charged $40 for deep cleaning because we had a pet. That room hadnât had anything done to it except linen change. We slept in our clothes because we didnât trust that blankets had been washed and definitely didnât bath. The carpets were so filthy and stained that we had to leave shoes on because our feet stuck to carpet.
The hotel looked like an abandoned building. I drove by it three times. Until I asked someone where it was. The only sign was letters stuck on the front door. The room was not as clean as expected. It was like top layer clean but not really clean. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly. But if I could have canceled by reservation with out charge. I would have went some where else.
The management was wonderfully nice. However, it is an older hotel and the remodel is cosmetic. There are alot of holes that need repair. It was clean enough but could definitely be better.
Arrived at hotel at 2:00 pm to converse with the staff about getting a bottom floor room. There was no one at the front desk when I arrived. I waited at the front desk after paging for someone twice approximately 15-20 minutes. No one answered my page. Was told per phone call to the hotel the prior day that I had to wait until check in at 4:00 to see if I could get that bottom floor room. I informed him that my wife and I were handicapped and that we had appointment at 3:30 and would not be able to be back until 6:30-7:00.by then all the bottom floor rooms would be taken but he showed no concern and could not do anything until the next day. So we arrived at 2:00 to let him know that we were in town and were wanting that bottom floor room but we were not able to talk to anybody. Very poor service!
There are times when you can find a low-cost hotel room that's pretty decent. But this was not one of those. It's an old chain hotel that has closed but repurposed as a cheap uncared for hotel. The clerk seemed like I was bothering him just by renting one of his rooms. The first room did not have a working heater. He was kind enough to give me another oom withch was an upgrade but the room was dirty and dark - not enough light. The walls are painted blue, adding to the darkness of the space. And the there is no decor whatsoever. The bed was comfortable and I slept well, so if that's all you're after, this place will serve its purpose, but otherwise it was unpleasant.
The fan on the bathroom didn't work, no cups for water or coffee (had to get them from the desk), but worst was two pair of underwear still in the shower from previous guests (on top of the shower nozzle). Room was generally ok and you get what you pay for.
Great price but not much sleep, loud music in 2 rooms by us, ice machine broken, had to call hotel to get someone at front desk for check in!! Just did not feel safe!! Regrets!!
Surprised to find out at check in no pool, no breakfast , as they were listed as available. They said they havenât had breakfast available since covid started
New management is trying to make a go of it in a large, but disused old motel. There is not even a sign.
Management could not have been nicer. This is one of many motels that are being operated by a minority group. I sure they are successful, because they are trying very hard.
Itâs fine for a night solo, or for someone like construction worker. But needs a lot of work before I would take my family there.
