First I wanted to I i didn't have any major problems with this hotel. For my business trip the hotel was in a good location; if I had to complain about the location it would be more on the different navigation apps I used telling me the front is on one side in reality it was on different side. If you miss it, then it may be a while to get back because of the one way streets. It might have helped if they had a bigger/taller sign outside. My issue here was with the size of the room. I travel a lot on business and the room I was in here was much smaller than I would expect to see a hotel in Texas. Still maybe double the size of New York hotel and a lot cheaper. This room is the smallest room I have ever stayed at anywhere in Texas. The in room desk was so narrow it was a difficult for me to eat and work at the same time. Then the table top ironing board just kept falling off the desk while ironing. It is an overall good place to stay for the price.
great place to stay clean and nice quiet. only problem was toilet in room would not flush completely and stopped flushing all together. the toilets in the downstairs bathrooms were having the same problem. must be a issue with the plumbing in the hotel. not real excited about the valet only parking prefer to park my own vehicle.
Building was nice. Beds were not comfortable and bed spread was old and felt uncomfortable
Over all the stay was good, but I feel that was mainly due to these few things: 1. our room was on the 10th floor facing the Reunion Tower and the view was great! 2. while the room was small it was enough for a 2 night stay and the bathroom had a light up mirror that made doing my makeup so easy and awesome. mirror lit up making it awesome to use for putting make up on! 3. the location could not get better. any other hotel in that same vicinity was double or more per night what we paid. the things that were not great about the stay are as follows: 1. when we walked in it was 8:30/9:00 and the gal at the front desk was anything but welcoming. she acted as if the questions we asked were a bother to her and she was not very accommodating. 2. you are only able to valet park - which isnt terrible. HOWEVER if you have a truck they dont put it in their gated garage and LEAVE IT PARKED ON THE STREET OUTSIDE OF THE GARAGE. they stated it was due to the truck being too big for their garage, but this was not said to us up front and we found out when we were walking back to the hotel and saw the truck parked up on the sidewalk near the garage. they did have a camera there but that took away the little security we felt leaving it in the hands of the valet. had that been something they told us when we were asking about the valet we would have sought out an actual secure garage nearby. 3. the bathroom only had a sliding door and they provide no air freshener...
