We got there and pulled up to take our baggage out the car and a man came out and kept telling us to move and I told him 4 TIMES I'm just taking my bag out the car and I'll move. Then I park 3 blocks away cause there was no where to park on the property and I went to check in and the lady at the front desk was rude as shit. Then we went to the room now the refrigerator didn't work there was cold air coming in the window the bathroom door didn't have a track at the bottom of it so it was swinging like it was about to come off and the shower was small.

Crowne Plaza is one of the better hotels in the cluster around JFK. The cleanliness and ambient scent were better than expected.
Check in was delayed because there was only one person at front desk. Elevators were clean. Lobby was decent. Room was best part, very comfy bed. Clean bathroom and sitting area. Garbage was not collected the whole stay and even the garbage we dumped by ice machine was not emptied. Strong odor of weed filled hallways at night. Too much noise in hallways late night. Very disappointed.
A very comfortable hotel with absolutely great, efficient service. Long hours of room service are appreciated, especially during COVID-19.
I am saddened to write this review. We stayed here in May of 2020 and had a good experience. Spacious clean room, free parking and close to family. Fast forward to December 2020 where our room was dysfunctional in the set-up and had roaches. Staff changed our room to a "suite" which was certainly larger but in no way was it a suite. Room faced the highway which was heard all night. Upon being moved to the new room, we went to take a shower and found what appeared to be feces on the bath towel. They brought us new towels. The next morning we returned the old room keys to the manager and he less than concerned about our issues. At this point, the only PRO to this hotel is the free on-site parking which is greatly appreciated however, we will be looking elsewhere to lay our heads for our trips to NYC.
Speedy check in process with a nice and clean room! I was very comfortable, and slept like a baby.
line was extremely long. took about thirty minutes to check in when i had a reservation. when i finally checked in it was quick and efficient. room service timely. room is clean but no garbage bags in the garbages.
We were misinformed by the desk clerk in that we were to receive 2 free breakfast; he said we did not qualify. Once I showed him our reservation with FREE BREAKFAST noted he issued the vouchers. More important the shower was quite dirty in that there was considerable mildew; since we only spent one night and didn't use the shower until the morning, we simply dealt with it.
I was charge for the room twice and also for my free breakfast and had to call to get a refund also my breakfast order was not completed at all missing my yogurt and fruits
