Holiday Inn Grand Rapids Downtown, an IHG Hotel

Clean, comfortable and friendly.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The beds were super comfortable and the hotel is within walking distance to many areas around downtown Grand Rapids.

Clean and comfortable,the Concierge helped us print a document we needed and replaced my moms card and let us know what was going on downtown. She was amazing and friendly.

In particular the staff was overly helpful with us making plans and directions, a special thank you to Claire and Julia! We also would like to thank Judy from the restaurant; these three ladies really made pur out-of-town bachelorette party weekend!

Nathan our front desk manager was very help and went above problem solving helpful!! So very nice to hen front office staff are trusted to make CS decisions

The Service was excellent. The room was clean and very nice inside. Our only complaint is we stayed on the 7th floor, west end, north side and the 131 expressway was right outside the window. It was very loud all night. I would suggest staying on the east end if possible as I think there would be less expressway noise.

From check in to check out the hotel staff was amazing. The restaurant had great food and the rooms were remodeled within the last 6 months and clean. It was a great location as well.

I booked several rooms for myself and friends thru Hotel’s .com, thought we were getting a good rate, until we checked in and I was charged more for my room only! No one could explain why!! The person at the desk said it was because my friends must have booked thru a different site, but remember I booked all the rooms!!! Well in the end my friends paid 154$ for their rooms , i was charged 219.19 , which I am told I will have to dispute with my bank!! Not sure I will use Hotels.com again😖

Excellent stay at the Holiday Inn GR Downtown. Loved the location. Right in the heart of downtown. Walking distance to many of the attractions in the area. Right by the highway so it is great for your commute. Loved the staff members. From front desk staff members to the housekeeping members and to the dining staff. Excellent people and very friendly and welcoming. Props to the front desk members. My room card was not working. So I went back for assistance and they were very helpful. Wonderful crew...day or night.

There was a general lack of cleanliness throughout the hotel. There was a line of ants walking through the room and the toilet was visibly dirty around the outside of the bowl. The surfaces were also not wiped down as you could see dried liquids of various sorts on all of the table/counter surfaces. On the positive side, the beds were amazingly comfortable and clean. The AC worked very well as well as water pressure in the shower. The decor was updated very nicely. We spent extra to have breakfast included and were not disappointed as the options, french toast etc..
